- In order to flee the pressure of the responsibility of being a rebel and a Jedi, Ezra goes on a rescue mission together with Chopper after they received a distress call. They are surprised to find out the ship in need belongs to Hondo Ohnaka. Hondo offers Ezra to join him.
Hondo: I'm pretty sure we were friends"LOVE IT
+William Beasley he was talking about obi-wan right?
yes
I love hondo, one of the really funny guys of the clone wars
It gives me chills
I'm sure Obi-wan begs to differ.
"Come, now, let's leave your wife out of this!"
I forgot he said that.
"One of my best friends was a Jedi...I think"
Obi wan probably begs to differ lol
Yeah. Love Hondo's remembering though.
Tyler Cripps well was it Obi Wan or Anakin? Cause I feel like Anakin went to Hondo more then Obi Wan did
@@MysteryGaming101 yeah probably.
@@MysteryGaming101 Eh, I think it was the same.
Mystery Gaming obi wan and hondo were homies during the clone wars
One of my best friends was a jedi.....
*sob sob sob*
When Chopper grabs the two blasters and starts swinging them he says "Say hello to my little friends!"
+TimeTravelPony I suppose that's a sign that rebels is starting to improve. Hopefully by season three, things will be at the same level the clone wars were once at.
I reiterate. Chopper is nuts!
@@nathandeal9703 And they were. 😁
Sounded more like he was saying an old Clint Eastwood line
"Do you feel lucky? Do you?"
I'd rather meet your inlaws instead!
Honestly, Hondo Onaka is one of the funnest characters this series has ever created. Hondo is the comic relief we should have gotten in Phantom Menace, instead of Jar Jar.
He is either referring Kenobi or Skywalker.
Kelvin S. It’s Kenobi.
Both actually
Or katooni
Damn this entire show is just memory lane and I love it!
I wish I was a Jedi... Or at least Force-Sensitive...
I love everything about this scene. Chopper with guns? Hondo? Epic.
I want to be a Pirate-Jedi!
Plot armor always wins the day for Hondo 'ol boy.
I think hondo cares about the kid
He does
It's kind of sweet that Hondo considered Obi Wan one of his best friends.
...even if I'm sure the feeling wasn't entirely mutual.
Dang Chopper! He knows how to shoot!
At 1:35 I started smiling and nodding my head like, "Whatever he said."
I heard "Do you feel lucky, punk?"
1:34 Things just got real with chopper XD
PIRATE JEDI MAKE THIS A THING DISNEY !!!
kanan is pretty much a pirate jedi....
@@edselcervantes6229
Nah, Kanan was more like a "cowboy Jedi." The main character of Vader Immortal on the other hand, felt like a "pirate Jedi" to me.
Shakes lightsaber, "Yrgh give me your credits or walk the air lock"
1:35 Claptrap
Chopper:Say hello to my little friends
Damn i love Hondo x)
"IM RICH... IM DEAD" gets my everytime
I would love to see Hondo just bump into Vader and Vader just slaughtering him on the spot xDD would be funny
Come on, Vader wouldn't slaughter him on the spot!! He'd probe him for all the information he had and THEN slaughter him on the spot!!
1:32
"Do you feel lucky? Do you?"
WHEN DID I LEARN TO SPEAK (understand) DROID!
Chopper is one of the best characters in the show 😂 and Uh 0:24 that scream 😂
chopper shoots like a stormtrooper
Nah, he shoots better. Chopper hit Assmorgian at least once. 1:47
1:31 Chopper is a badass!
Pirate Jedai? This sounds brilliant :D
1:55 “I’M RICH!!!”
“I’M DEAD!!!”
1:33 Let me show you how a blaster works!
I'M RICH-
I'M DEAD!
Hondo is seen as a heartless bounty hunter but the animated shows really do say otherwise
Not a bounty gunter, but a pirate. Pirates and bounty hunters are different.
I think chopper said "say hello, too my little friends".
is this season 2 episode 5?
Pirate jedi? Cade Skywalker?
IM RICH
I'M DEAD
Why does Hondo look so weird in rebels
How many flashbacks do you think hondo had?
How the hell is Chopper blasting?
Why is kun fu’s dad a bad guy?
1:55
Huge downgrade
IM RICH! IM DEAD! XD
X'D
Your Saved! XP
And now he’s running a smuggling business on Batuu! 😂
Funniest line in the episode.
Hondo is a treasure
I love Hondo with kids/padawans...it's like, he SAYS he doesn't like them, but his actions beg to differ...
It probably depends on his mood tbh. Since Hondo is usually looking to make money but now during the Sequel Trilogy he actually has a legitimate business with a ship named Katooni to.
@@FireheartSamurai i wonder if he remembers her
@@lilybug1397 Probably he still does since he named his current freighter ship after her. He doesn’t know what happened to Katooni after the Clone Wars & neither do we.
@@FireheartSamurai she was believed to have died at the jedi temple during order 66.
@@lilybug1397 That’s possible but we have no confirmation on Katooni surviving Order 66/ Jedi Purge yet
Like my mother once said 'if you have one hostage two is better and three? well thats just good business
I just noticed that Hondo knocked Ezra out of the way, potentially sacrificing his own life for Ezra. He really is the definition of chaotic neutral/chaotic good.
“I’m rich!”
“I’m dead!”
Lol gotta love hondo
I love the fact that this show is bringing in characters from the clone wars and I hope we see asajj ventress or barris.
don't u know barriss are the seventh sister
We won't be seeing Assaj in this show, the book dark disciple reveals why
+Star Wars Rebels asajj died against Anakin MINDBLOWN
+shooter downunder is that book cannon?
+goldenhedgehog9 Tis
Ezra had some pretty sick moves in this episode, you have to admit. He's growing up so fast...*sigh*
I love hondo. I’m glad he become more than just a typical recurring pirate character
the music music THAT MUSIC
Chopper at 1:32: Want a true fighter? Let me teach you.
Chopper is nuts!
He's bizzare
Angry chopper is great... :D
Is if weird that I imagine a fanfic of hondo having kids somewhere in the galaxy, and if he ever met them he would be both a terrible and epic dad, like Jack Sparrow
Hondo is still funny, but they did him dirty in rebels. He use to be a character from clone wars where the audience felt that he was unpredictable, funny, and menacing at the same time. He’s now just comic relief. He’s not even unpredictable anymore.
Hes old ig, and without a crew or anything to prove anymore he just let himself go. Happens to everyone.
Well... be a Pirate Jedi!
....C-Cade Skywalker? Is that you??
1:55 I'm rich!
1:58 I'M DEAD!!!
chopper shoots like a stormtrooper
M.R. Palpatine we get it
Its all fun and games until Chooper grabs the guns XD
I wonder if Hondo is still holding that box full credits even though he’s running a legit business with a ship named Katooni?
0:26 wouldn’t that guy keep flying into space at a constant speed forever? Why did he slow down?
1:33
Look how they massacred my boy
Ah yes; Piers Morgan's alien cousin.
No offence to anyone but this show is an embarrassment to be be called Star Wars. Why did they have to resort to comedy and cheesy one-liners. Hondo has improved it slightly but even he has been dumbed down to suit the kids
I never understood why the clone wars was canceled
It wasn't cancelled. It was completed fully and I feel that the writers gave us a generous blend of politics, Jedi vs Sith, and bounty hunters to the extent that if more episodes were made plots might be repeated. I also noticed the credits music changed from the usual at the final episode indicating the end of the series
+Duvee Hie Yeah, that would explain the extra half-season of unfinished episodes floating around.
I don't think an extra season is needed regardless if it was in production or not
+Star Wars Beyond When Disney bought the Star Wars IP, they immediately cancelled several projects either in planning (Star Wars 1313 game) and in production (Clone Wars Season 6). Also notable is the cancellation of Dark Horse Comics contract to publish Star Wars comics (which they had done for approximately 25 years) and the rights to publish said comics would go back to Marvel Comics, whose parent company, Marvel Entertainment, Disney owns.
The reason for this was Disney consolidating the entirety of the IP under companies or groups Disney could directly control. Star Wars: The Clone Wars was liscensed by Cartoon Network, a direct competitor for Disney's own cartoon channel, Disney XD. As was mentioned by several of the writers and production staff, Disney's cancellation of "The Clone Wars" was technically a violation of contract, but since Disney owns literally battalions of lawyers, they can legal their way out of almost anything.
Thankfully, the artwork, stills, storyboarding, and what scenes and partials that were completed prior to the cancellation of "Clone Wars" contract was ruled to be owned by the contract holders at the time of production, but no more work could be done to finish them, since the contract had been broken, hence why Season 6 was never finished. The partials and what finished episodes Cartoon Network had were released to the public as a kind of "fuck you" move to Disney on the part of the writers and animators who felt (justifiably) that Disney had screwed them out of their jobs and a project they loved just to make a fast buck, and well, to be Disney.
they ruined Hondo his voice suited him much better
that was pathetic
It’s kinda depressing to see how many characters fell as the empire came
True but then again the Empire really did almost everyone dirty though.
