I'm 15 and I already travel a lot. I lived in Santa Barbara all my life and I never want to leave, it is truly one of the best places on earth. I'm blessed that I am able to live here.
I live in L.A. and been coming there in SB since 2017 when my son attended UCSB and live there now after he ended up working in UCSB as a young professional. Until l now I’m still coming there a lot and I am dreaming someday to live there? 🤞🏻
Ah, Huntington Beach. The place of my best friend’s wedding. Because we had such a great time there, are there any suggestions you have for our next visit there? Trails? Cycling spots?? Coffee???
@@linkpaivichit7651 In the city of Huntington Beach, if you're arriving as a tourist, Main St where it dead-ends into Pacific Coast Highway (PCH to the locals) is really nice. Full of fun restaurants, etc. Of course, there's the HB Pier and the miles of wide, sandy beaches on either side of it. If you want to explore beyond HB, hop on PCH and head south to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and Dana Point. It's quite scenic and there's a million places to explore. Enjoy!
Like 230 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. We enjoyed the tour of Santa Barbara. Very nice and interesting places to visit. Loved the beaches. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week. 💯
Just to let you know. The entrance fee for Botanical Garden is 20 Dollars for an adult right now. Thanks for the nice video. I loved to walk through Santa Barbara one more time!
Thanks for sharing. One other place to visit that you don’t want to miss is the Santa Barbara zoo. Especially if you have children. One of the best in the country in my book. Lord bless you.
Nicely done video. Makes me want to go to Santa Barbara if I wasn't already living here! When you're good and you die you go to heaven. In heaven, when you're good and you die you go to Santa Barbara! Really a paradise for tourists and residents alike.
My native city! My birth town! Ahhh, beautiful Santa Barbara. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona (which also has a special place in my heart) when I was around 10, although I've visited Santa Barbara numerous times since. I now live in Mexico. Someday, Santa Barbara, I will go back to you!
Thank you very much for this detailed video!! My husband and I were thinking about going there but we had no idea what we would do. This was so helpful.
You are nailing it. I live in SoCal so I know there's no way you can do everything, but you did a lot more than I expected. The only thing I think you really missed out on is Catalina island. Well worth the visit if you have an extra day or two.
Born and raised. I’d say this is about 40% accurate. Just start with hotels, try and find a place in that range. Come visit, Santa Barbara is incredible and unique.
I grew up in S.B. was a great place when I was a kid. You did get a few things wrong. Santa Barbrans do not refer to themselves as Santa Barbarians. Sonoma is in central Calif. not near S.B. Santa Ynez IS near S.B. and has some great wineries. When I grew up there the S.B. Natural History Museum had no entry fee, neither did the Botanical Gardens. The whale skeleton was on the wharf back then. I spent many, many hours fishing, swimming, and surfing and NEVER, saw or even heard of a great white shark. Saw a lot of whales, though. U.C.S.B. is not in Goleta, it's in near by Isla Vista (I.V. to locals). We used to say S.B. was for the "Newly wed and the nearly dead". There was a middle class in S.B. back then. Now it's for the rich, who can afford it, and the poor who are subsidised. I miss the way it was. Couldn't pay me to live there now.
@@ilovemytribe Not trying to answer for him, but I lived there for 30 years. Moved 4 years; wish I had done it earlier. SB is now known for traffic congestion, chronic homelessness (that the city "officials" fail to address), and over-priced cheesy retail stores.
Hi, i'm planning to visit California for the first time, and I would like to go to a place with a small town and a peaceful feel, that I could truly enjoy the beach. Will Santa Barbara be the one or Santana Monica? Or another one that can have all of that. Thank you
Yea Puerto Vallarta is in mi state Jalisco and actually yes is so similar , from the coust to the cities , normally in Guadalajara Jalisco, we say that California is the Jalisco from America gettings from Guadalajara
No, Sonoma County is north of San Francisco. Time to do a little bit of editing before you put these films out. I just noticed while typing this that it says right below me, "Here is our Ls Angeles travel video". Oooops. Otherwise, very enjoyable. The San Diego video had a major hiccup where you said that you could get on the cruise ship here in Los Angeles and the screen showed San Diego on the sign.
I was born and raised in S. Cal, but have been living in the South East. I'm thinking about moving back to Cali and was wondering if Santa Barbara has been affected at all by the crime, trash, graffiti, homeless epidemic; taking over much of California?
is it dessert. what about WATER . its true. california is nice and beautyfull. i yust to live there 82- till 89. was ok. is there enough of water. you dont talk about. hihihi.
Yes whatever. Besides the Origin of the Universe, answer me this mystery: how a person who gets paid 16 or 18 dollars a fucking hour can survive in a Capitalist hole where a one bedroom apartment cost 3 to 4 thousand dollars a fuxking month..

I live in Huntington Beach, and after watching this video, I've decided to head to Santa Barbara tomorrow for a nice day trip! Thanks for sharing.

Looks great there. Definitely want to check it out. There are direct flights from Denver to Santa Barbara on United and Southwest.
That’s what the way to go. I also like arriving into John Wayne or Burbank and taking the train
we are waiting for more videos!
Nice video. Isla vista isn't part of Goleta.
Goleta mostly has some shopping, golf courses, an ice rink, a Costco, a home depot, and a bowling alley.
Es un lugar muy bonito saludos desde Ecuador
