The key is hand speed. Nery is no where close to Inoue hand speed. All he got is a puncher's chance. Inoue by KO/TKO in round 6.
Nery has a habit of being hit and eating the punches. That's a terrible idea for this fight. Inoues speed I feel will make the difference. He can get to spots that Nery might leave open.
He could land one of those power, arching swings, especially that left one that, as the commentator said, came up in an arch from below... a throw that is hard for the other guy (with a quick glance) to guess, whether it's going for the body or the head.
But such big, arching swings also could open Nerdy to Inoue's powerful counter throws, even from a relatively square stance.... a stance Inoue uses so as not to leave himself out of position, which allows him to dish out 2, 3, or 4 very quick and powerful punches.
One of the most tricky parts about Inoue's skills is that while he is a traditional right handed boxer, it's his left hook to an opponent's liver that sends 99% of them to the canvas.
And the BODY POSTURE that allows Nerdy to generate that powerful, arching left arm from that low angle.... that body posture could set him up to be the target of Inoue feared left hook, to the liver or to the head...
Nerdy usually keeps his arm & shoulder nailed together in that awkward "shoulder-role" stance.
But, still, when you try to generate that much power swinging your ONE ARM from way below, the other side of your body HAD to be in a higher position... so, ultimately, either your liver area or your head is going to be exposed: you can't really protect both areas at once, even using that awkward "shoulder-roll" form Nerdy's good at... because for those nanoseconds, your FOCUS is to deliver that other arm of yours in that powerful, arching swing, from a lower angle, arching its way up...
Exactly
There is no might nery will be hit a lot. Look at how he lost with that body shot. He got hit a lot.
Facts,,always leaves himself open
Looking forward to Inoue KOing Nery under 8...only because Inoue wants to punish him
I agree. This fight is personal for Inoue, he doesn't want to win he wants to beat Nery over and over again and KO only when he has had enough.
Definitely not a rerun of Tyson/Douglas-
The monster won’t turn up distracted by personal troubles and party all night.
Indeed, and Inoue _never_ underestimates his opponent. His camps are always rigorous, focused, and thorough.
Good fight, and all due respect to Nery, but Inoue takes this pretty comfortably. He's definitely one of the 5 best boxers on the planet rn, up there with Crawford, Canelo, Lomachenko, and Usyk. I think he has room to grow and some potential yet to unlock too.
Nery has never proven himself at this level before where as Inoue has. Nery’s going to get a worse beating than Figueroa gave him.
Tbf to Nery he did upset the P4P rated lineal champion at bantamweight 2x
@@JeffPenaify yup, no one gave him chance then as well! Espcially the first fight.
@@JeffPenaify Tbf Nery tested positive for PEDs the first fight then the other fight he came in overweight. He’s never fairly beaten a world class fighter. There’s a reason Nery’s was banned from boxing in Japan at one point. .
Yeah fair points too.
@@jjsheets330 yeah but he still showed up and made it happen, he was the lineal champion
Naoya Inoue God gifted power man Handsham gentilman talented honesty fighter in the world super God bless
Monster by 3rd round stoppage.
Because it seems that Inoue takes all of his opponents seriously, it would be even more risky to predict a loss for him. So, if Inoue decides to leave his wife and take up using illicit substances, have a line of women outside his door and not sleep in the lead up to the fight, betting against him would be a lesser risk.
That was my thought. Tyson doesn’t lose without a number of factors that put him below his best. It was his responsibility and it’s not an excuse, but just saying I don’t ever see that happening with inuoes team 😂
Gonna be a short night I think with how open nery leaves himself at times and the speed of the counters.
Levels to this. Inoue is going to KO Nery early. My guess is by round 4. Nery has been knocked down by journeymen on numerous occasions before, and he actually was Knocked out by B Fig. Inoue is in my eyes P4P number 1 and he will show it on May 6th.
We have same assessment, if Nery fight his usual coming forward style , it will not past 4 -5rounds and he'll be KOd, maybe even the 2nd round. If NERY RUNS, it will be in the 6th-7th.
That’s why it’s a meaningless win.
Inoues style counters southpaws. I dont think this will even be close.
His style counters anyone from 116-126. Wouldn’t say just southpaws
@@kiboma4209true but his specific style of fighting is worse for a southpaw
@@kiboma4209😂😂😂😂 his style counters consciousness
@@pandabear1576 yeah his open side counters are really sharp.
Naoya will finish Nery before the 6th round if not sooner.
Nery is a good fighter but not in the same class as Inoue.
Naoya is a once-in-a-generation boxing prodigy!
Naoya is too precise, rink-savvy, fast, and powerful than anything Nery has experienced.
Nery is in for an evening of pain!
"It is cruel and inhuman punishment to ask anybody to fight Inoue" Bob Arum
Thank you
The Monster will win again
styles make fights, but just a note:
figueroa beat nery
fulton beat figueroa
inoue destroyed fulton
It was really painful to watch Panterita fall to the canvas after Figueroa hit him with a hook to the liver... I am anticipating the same punch, same outcome...
Inoue gonna win
RIP Nery 🙏
Whilst I think Inoue will win by KO at some point I feel people are really sleeping on Nerdy. He's talented, versatile, tough, experienced and powerful and should give Inoue a tough fight. It's just his leaky defence which should ultimately cause his downfall. Should be a high quality fight.
Well, there's also something Inoue has that Nery doesn't. Speed, and speed does kill. Crawford was too fast against Spence, Ryan hook was faster than Haney to react. Speed kills and Inoue's speed is a big factor in his victory
Many say Nery has power and there could be an upset if Inoue eats it early. But Nery's best punch is not a one-punch killer but only a damaging one that allows him to brawl the opponent down. His looping left hook, his best punch, is often an open punch, hitting almost with his paw. After the punch, the his hand either stays there or he has to pull it back. This is not the same as Nonito Donaire left hook, which he turns his sholder in and hit with the knuckle. The punch has a tragectory that comes back to his body without pulling it. See Donaire doing it with Darchinyan or Montier, and you see what the killer punch means. Inoue indeed ate Donaire left hook, had hiis eye socket cracked, and lasted for 12 rounds to win. So, even if Inoue is hit by one looping left hook, I think he can immediately adjust his position not to let Nery to continue brawling him down.
He looks too slow to touch the monster and nery doesn't look like he possess nonito's power to hurt.
When Nery gets excited, he sometimes squares up to his opponent and throws both hands. 😅 He'll get put to sleep if he does that vs Inoue.
As for Nery "utilizing his range," Inoue has longer arms, actually.
O por que no, también Inoue le puede dar sueño metiéndole las dos manos como dices.
@@luisespejo109 - He can put you to sleep with both hands, but he doesn't stand square in front of his opponents throwing alternating, wide left and right hooks.
this might end up tecnical not brawl
This will be another example showing how dominating Inoue is as a fighter, a COMPLETE Boxer with no weaknesses.
Inoue will over power Nery and out box him .
If Inoue finishes Nery, people will say it's an empty victory, but given Inoue's track record, he's going to strike a deal to fight the best possible opponent next. Probably Sam Goodman, who beat Ra'eese Aleem in his previous fight.
Nery's chances of winning this fight from 1-10 are like a 3.5
Nicely Done .... I like the way you Whook lol
Inoue's sparred decent southpaws this camp which should help him avoid getting clipped by right hooks, like Tapales was able to catch him with.
One of those is one to watch out for. 20 year old American 14(10KO)-0-0, 126/130 prospect, Jonathan Lopez, who is ranked #6 with the IBF..
This will be a different Nery, he's actually training hard and not partying for this fight.
Casemiro vs enoue next, who among the best in batam weights division, requests of the fans💪💪💪
These past years have been only of upsets so I’m riding with my countrymen Nery. I had Ryan beating Haney and I have Nery beating Inue and I have Munguia pulling an upset as well
Nery by KO !!!
😂nery got sleeping that night😅 he's provocation is return itself 😅
Inoue for the Win by knockout in later rounds 💪🇯🇵💪🇯🇵💪🇯🇵
Nery knows he can't win 12rds decision and will get KO. He need to go all-in early for KO upset to win or play more defense hoping just to survive 12rds.
El oponente de inoue es legitimo, es mexicano y es por lejos la mayor pegada que enfrentara, el que le quitara el 0 y le propinara la primera derrota en su carrera.🇲🇽
i put $100 on inoue by ko/tko but the 35-1 from nery scares me a tiny bit
Then put some money on nery too if he wins you make a lot and if he loses you have the 100 on inoue
@@SeanstrickIandvswomensmma proffesional sports better right here
Don't worry, no way in hell Nery is winning
Oh wow you’ll win 13 dollars
Panther gonna eating sum leather 5rd tko
Nery looking for that big payday with the cost of a tko😂😂😂
If Nery stands in front of Inoue for an exchange, it will be over for him. The Monster has too much power and precision. The only moment he got rocked is with Donaire but he proved he can take a punch and recover with it too.
Inoue is very dangerous to invite for a brawl.
The fact this video is longer than. Inoue destroys and KO Nery make me question the padding of this video /s
Nice analysis. Been looking forward to seeing another Inoue fight. Hope we get an exciting ending to it.
Much appreciated, hopefully we get a good fight.
it doesn't look like he got anything for the monster
Nery doesnt hit as strong as most of the fighters inoue has fought in past 8 fights, especially donaires punch. Inoue will do fine against nerys punch and hes slower than fulton and tapales. This will be easy work for inoue. Wouldve been a better match for inoue to fight akmedaliev. Inoue will KO nery in 4-6rds
Nery will also put some hurt to Inoue.Nery needs to work hard in the ring to take out Inoue just like he did Yamanaka.
RIP NERY
I just don't see Nery being tactically as flexible as Inoue. The Monster has the speed, power & Ring IQ to adjust strategy & points of attack, moment by moment in every round. Both fighters have the power to end this fight with a single punch. It might just be the Fight of the Year. My tip : Inoue.
I agree Tim, I feel Inoue just has more to him overall. As much as Nery is talented and packs power. He risks being countered badly when he opens up for hooks.
Inoue with a counter overhand KO in the 5th round
Regarding the Tokyo Dome "curse," here's what singer Bobby Brown said about the Tyson-Buster Douglas fight:
Thirty-two years after the shock, one of Tyson's close friends Bobby Brown has finally shared the real reason why Iron Mike lost that night.
It would seem that the 53-year-old musician played a huge role in Tyson's defeat in Tokyo after he confessed in an interview documented by A & E.
"Me and Mike Tyson are friends to this this day, but there was a time when we partied in Japan right before his fight with Buster Douglas.
"We partied like really, really, really hard."
Bobby Brown goes on to add that they had multiple women in their rooms.
"There must have been two dozen girls in the room with me and Mike... we partied.
"And I was trying to tell him to get some sleep.
"Eventually he got some sleep [in the ring]!
"Do not put that part in there please, he is going to kill me."
If y’all wanna know how lopsided this fight is just go to Vegas. They usually get it right. Lol
Inoue in any round he wants by way of sanctioned execution
Another thing to take note of is that Nery is naturally bigger
Inoue has decided to not to play with his prey anymore. So I'm predicting under round 3. A little show for his Japanese fans
Monster Inoue p4p No1 The Best of The Best fighter today second Crawford well done Monster Inoue TKO Nery 3round well done Monster Inoue 🎉🎉🎉
If Nery runs it's Inoue inside of 8. If Nery fights it's Inoue inside of 4. If Nery brawls it's Inoue in the first round. Nery has zero chance. Not a 1% chance, not a puncher's chance, he has NO chance.
lol far too open and considerable speed difference. Yeah throw winging shots that are relatively telegraphed and then leave you out of position with a technical monster. Anyone has a punchers chance but… doubt 😂
Inuoe doesn’t seem to really ever come in unprepared or out of shape or all whacked out mentally. Buster Douglas doesn’t win against a Mike Tyson that’s prepared, and really barely won as is because of the corner forgetting the inswell and a long count.
Inuoe and his team seem to be calm collected professionals.
It’s the goofy Fulton hype all over again even though on a technical level anyone that knows boxing knew the very likely outcome lol
Nery gets hit too much
Nery wont last 3 rounds.
They said the same about Tapales. It went 10 rounds…
@@BoxingLife- I thought the Taples fight might go the distance. Tapales was crafty, careful, etc -- not anything like Nery's often sloppy aggression. Inoue won't have to coax and bait Nery into opening up. Nery is going to get countered when he comes hard.
Also, Tapales looked at least 10 pounds heavier than Inoue in that fight, but Inoue won't really have a size disadvantage in this one. And Inoue has a reach advantage.
Quisiera que ganará Nery. Pero Nery pelea muy abierto, es más lento en todos los sentidos. Así q le voy a Inoue.
México 🇲🇽 Will haber 2 Indispiutes Cuamps in May 6 ❤
Upset happen but no way Nery win 12rds even if he come in overweight+PED. All-in for early lucky KO or get KO or arrive to survive 12rds for great payday. This fight is a win/win 4 belts for Nery, Lose/lose for Monster. Hope its a good fight unlike Butler :(
Nyoya inoe
Naoya Inoue
Naoya will KO Nery with his favourite body shot left hook
Nery is going down in less than 2.
Nery🇲🇽🇲🇽💪💪💪
Nery will just be an amateur before D' Monster Inoue.
Nery is used fight defensive boxers. Boxers that are already afraid of him before the fight. But now he will be fighting a boxer that will swallow him. Bed is ready.
NERY KAMIKAZE
Naoya wins by k.o in 5-7 rounds.
Nery will sleep in dome….
Nery has KOd opponens in PUNCH ACCUMULATION, HE can NEVER do that to INOUE. NERY will be KOd in 3-5 Rounds, if he fights his usual coming forward style, if he runs, it will be in the 6th-7th and he'll be KOd anyway.
This will be a KO fight for both sides but in this one I'm going with Pantera Nery by KO before the 10th and in the Munguia VS Canelo one a draw greetings from Mexicali
Nery style is tailor made for Inoue
@@kenwahldhlamini8102 It Look but that not warranty a win

Yeh, Japanese pronunciation is super easy compared to English. As soon as you understand the vowel sounds, the rules never change...but the video guy does have a Scottish accent, and I kinda like his Scottish take on Japanese lol.
It's my accent man I'm sorry I do try, but the flow when I'm recording sometimes goes against how I pronounce. I've also had people telling me your way is wrong. Not saying you are wrong. But give me the benefit of the doubt.
