I know they fight at lightweight or super lightweight but the difference is not that drastic. Inoue just became super bantamweight undisputed ( his second time being undisputed and very easily). @reycorona2670 I don't think so, his power won't be enough. If Cruz Pitbul put Tank on high notice in their fight what do you think Inoue will do? He will absolutely beat Tank.
@reycorona2670 Ofcourse anything can happen in a fight but the fight won't happen anytime soon. A great, very powerful boxer. The lighter weight boxers have usually been better, more entertaining than the heavier weight boxers. They deserve better appreciation.
When Tapales was defensive, Inoue picked him apart with the jab and 1-2. When he got aggressive, Inoue pounded him with power shots. Tapales put up a great effort, but honestly, he was outmatched from the start.
After rewatching this fight, you could see that Inoue game plan changed after the 5th round. Instead of being more elusive and picking his shot placement, you could see Inoue was allowing himself to take the big shots from Tapales. It was like showing the world that he could endure big power shots but throw some back even bigger. Inoue was definitely showing to Tapales that he wanted that big power knockout. The fight ended up being who is the stronger puncher. An absolute brawl.
I remember commenting elsewhere, right after Inoue's fight with Cool Boy, that I had a feeling that Tapalez was worth more than most people were thinking. I just felt that they were vastly underestimating the man, but DAMN, even I was underestimating the man. What a fighter. He had power, precision, defense, patience, and guts. It's not like Tapalez ever knocked Inoue down but, unlike the last fight, there was a moment when I thought to myself that I had no idea who would win.
Lol I'm curious, what moment are you referring to? Like what round did you think tapalez would win or had a chance to win or that inoue would/could lose? From what I saw of the highlights, there didn't seem to be any moment where I was worried for inoue. After the first 2-3 rounds I knew tapalez didn't have the power or ability to KO inoeu. And I knew from the start that Tapalez wasn't going to out box inoeu and win a decision. So yeah. Zero chance for me. Even if tapalez looked like he landed some thudding shots, inoeu didn't really show any real pain or damage. The loud thuds from some tapalez punches was probably due to it hitting the gloves or was more of a slap punch to defended part of the body compared to inoeus punches that land with great accuracy/power and does the damage that everyone expects from the monster by now, whether it's body shot or headshot, or even arm shots where he punches your guard and it still rocks them or makes their guard open up and provide an open line to their head after which the next punch or two from inoue finishes them off.
@@ex0duzz It wasn't that there was a specific moment where I thought he was going to lose, it was Tapalez strategy as a whole. As far as I'm aware, no one is going to outbox Inoue. So although the commentators say "you can't just stay in front of him" that's exactly the one thing you can do against the Monster. Stand your ground with a solid defense and strike with accuracy enough to hit and power enough to force Inoue to respect him. The vast majority of fighters would get too anxious and get their asses countered, or stay too timid and become a punching bag for multiple rounds. There are two ways I can imagine the Monster losing. The first is against someone who can outdog him, trade shots, attack fast and be too tough for Inoue's power to break down even in a counter. I can't think of anyone in the nearby weight classes that can do that. The second scenario was exactly what Tapalez was doing. No. Tapalez's thuds weren't just from the slapping gloves, otherwise Inoue would have demolished him really early. The fight took as long as it did because Inoue would've just trampled any boxer that didn't have enough firepower to force him to pick his shots. He's done it before. It wasn't the thuds that tipped me off. It started by the fact that Inoue was getting hit more often than I've ever seen. Meanwhile, Tapalez was not only accurately blocking Inoue's shots but also dodging him, pressuring him against the ropes, not falling for easy baits. Yes, granted, Inoue was on top pretty much 100% of the fight, but this WAS a fight. Ever since his first bout with Donaire, Inoue had become a different beast and once he demolished Donaire in their second fight, I couldn't fathom him losing against anyone. To me, all the other fights he since then didn't feel like "fights", but public executions. Not this one, though. This felt like a real duel.

Tapales would school Casimero easily lol. Casimero is a big hypejob.
Bro tap ales is a beast for taking all them shots and giving some back. Going 10 rounds is impressive when ur going up against the monster
Great fighter. He lands those combinations so sweet. It must bamboozle his opponents. The sky is the limit for Inoue.
What’s that red on Tapales gloves?
タパレスの防御が上手かった。
でも逆にあれだけ防御上手くしてても蓄積ダメージでダウンさせられるんならどうやったら勝てるか想像できない。
Really great and exciting match!
タパレス強かったな〜
階級の壁というよりタパレスがスーパーバンタム級の中でも打たれ強いことを願う
Inoue ...once more proved to all his talent and his power of strength by making clear his mark on the other hand tapales put up a good fight but was unable to find his way out and punch his opponent at the critical right precise moment there after collapse d only to go in defeated ,good clean fight for all lovers of boxing all around the globe .
Inoue is tooooooooooooo good. precision, timing, speed,
power, etc...all in one. tapalas is good but powerless in front of The Monster.
The most entertaining boxing highlights.
Tapales did a great job playing with inoue for 10rounds ❤ he did what he could
One of if not the best fight of the year Maple's has nothing to feel sorry for he left it all in the ring Inoue is a monster
Showed that philly defend as often as you like. Copy that defend style of mayweather as you like... Inoue will still destroy you. Period..
Tapales makes Fulton look unprepared and weak. The monster looked stronger and sharp. Both did very well.
Tapales could've given Inoue more trouble if he have more footwork. But overall, excellent fighter
How by tripping himself 😂
pacmans style is the key to beat inoue the problem is there no one can do the pacmans style but hi, 🤣
The Monster is truly a force of nature. Still, congratulations to Tapales for giving Inoue a ten-round slug-out - most couldn't go two rounds with him.
holy cow how did tapales take all those shots. Must've been pissing blood the next day
Tapales is a beast!!!! Unlucky that inoue is monster. Great fight, two high level pros doing what they do best.
And they think this is the guy that can compete with top American boxers 😂 knock out by tank in 3 rounds
Tank needs to worry about the top hitters in his division, he is yet to fight a top fighter.
What happens to Fulton 😂
Tapales did a great job blocking those punches but once one landed, it dropped him. Inoue is probably the best puncher right now.
Hats off to Tapales but Inoue is unbelievable right now... i don't see him slowing down anytime soon. Warriors.
Left leg from Inoue was ALWAYS to exterior of his opponent
So he could throw his right hand.
Good fight, he's genius
フィリピンボクサーは勇敢だな
Inoue is also quite skilled, becoming a top amateur boxer at the age of 18.
A fighter who had never beaten Inoue became a gold medalist in the world boxing championships. No other boxer in the history of Japanese boxing has possessed everything necessary for boxing as Inoue does.
The volume of punches was insane!
Monster FOR REAL 💯 1 OF TOP 3 P4P FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD RN.. FROM. 🇺🇸 . WE LOVE N RESPECTUR FIGHTER, AND IOKA, AND JUNTO NAKATANI, THAT KO VS MALONNEY!!! HOLY SHIT!!! PERFECT KO PUNCH, WALKED HIM RIGHT INTO A BIG, MASSIVE, HUGE LEFT. JAPAN GOT FIGHTERS RIGHT NOW..
Tapales did pretty good, guy’s a natural
Inoue broke the mayweather style it was obvious tapales was fighting with shoulder role
What a freakish power from Inoue.
Tamales comments was the best z”Inoue’s punch is not strong 💪 “ but went down and kissed canvas 😂 😂😂
Tapales proved he wasn't cherry picked. Inoue is just throwing those punches where it intends to land.
Matibay talaga kapag Made in Japan
この試合の井上選手の戦い方を見て、スゴイ!とか、嬉しい!とかを通り越して、何でこんなとことができるの?と、恐ろしさすら感じる。まるで違う競技をしているかのよう。それに絶え続けた相手選手もスゴイ
Malakas talaga ang monster...
great fight. great fighter - the best of the best...
Even casimero can't beat this guy
