Excellent video as always. The only thing that i was uncomfortable with in the deductions from the analysis is the role ascribed to health insurance as a predictor. It is more reasonable and realistic to think that wage is a predictor for having health insurance rather than the other way round. At best, i think there would be some type of 'data leakage' when health insurance is used as a predictor for dependent variable such as income.
I may have missed it in the video, if you covered it, i think determining how much each predictor contributed to predicting the dependent variable could prove the point i'm concerned with here.
Thanks again for the good work you do. I learned something new: the plot_grid and ref_grid functions.

Hey, you are totally right! Outcome is the predictor for health insurance, not vise versa. And I actually had it in the initial script covered, but during polishing, where I try to reduce the less relevant parts of text and try to focus, I deleted this part. Since, this is just a demo for how to extract scenarios from models. For your info, you could use t-statistics, or some effectsize from effectsize package for LM, or run a quick random forest over the data to get the variable importance plot. Also, the vip package and vip function do the job. In the case of the simple LM they would plot t-values, but vip function is universal and would also work for other types of models. Hope that helps. Cheers and thanks for nice feedback!

Grear work. I look forward to your videos on Survival Analysis in R

Thank you very much! Will definitely do. Just made some videos on linear regression in R. Logistic will follow and then the rest of models including Survival and ML one day. 3 years ago I've done two videos on survival already, but they are old, theoretical and low quality. I'll redo them in a more concise and R focused way. Thanks for nice feedback and for watching!

this channel is awesome, but the number of views are pretty low, I cant understand this!

really appreciate your positive feedback Emre! I have two theories about that: 1) programming in R is niche, mostly academics, and I know other cool channels about R which have even less subscribers, 2) I post once per month, which is not enough for the algorithm to push me. But posting more often will reduce the quality of videos and quality of my day job and everyday life :) I'll try to post more.

Great as usual. I would be so grateful if you could make a tutorial on machine learning with the tidymodels package.

I will totally do that! The time is unfortunately the limiting resource here. Still have a normal day job and normal life ;) But I don't wanna compromise on the quality. So, it will take some time, but it will be there. Thanks for feedback!

Thanks for the great video. Can you do a video on machine learning with R for the most widely used machine learning models. Thank you.

Great suggestion! It's already on the list! I just wanna cover the stat-models first, like logistic regression and similar, before I progress to the ML things. so, please, stay tuned ;) thanks for watching and commenting!
