To say she lied to her daughter is unfair. It was a different time back then and I am sure she lived with guilt everyday. So unfair for you to judge someone you didn't even know. She WAS a class act in every way that she presented herself to the public, which is really all we have to go on. Of course she made her mistakes. But you never waked in her shoes. So unfair to judge and such harsh words you threw out there like it was nothing towards a woman whom so much of the world respected.

These are the years I grew up , the 70s and 80s This was the last decade that Hollywood was revered and looked up to. After that, it went down the toilet. unfortunately most of these people are dead now I’ve survived all of them and to look back I wish I could go back and do it all over again because really, these were the best years of our lives, the best movies the best actors and now we have nothing

Why so judgmental towards her when Gable played the game too? She didn't have 'kids', she had one child out of wedlock which she could have aborted. She took the high road. People change with the passing of time. We are not the same people at 25 that we are at 50. Life has a way of doing that to us. Why such bitterness? People call her a whore and go on about how good looking he was, like he was so innocent. If you are going to hate on her, be fair, hate on him too. Better yet, quit judging.

It is so easy to criticize other people's lives and attitudes!! But the truth is that we should not judge anybody as anybody, incluing us, is perfect! Second, we cannot walk on one's shoes. Each one of us know about our own mistakes, choices, the things we tried right and failed, and the things we did right and succeeded. If Loretta Young made her mistakes, she was HUMAN! She did not seem to be a person who wanted to cause harm to others. Her personal life was personal, so lets let her in peace.
