A few days ago I washed my clothes for the first time in over a month. Not because I didn’t have access to a place to wash them, for the longest I just didn’t bother. I didn’t bother cleaning my room, myself, I didn’t talk to my friends, didn’t eat healthily, I barely got out of bed. I live the life of this video and it speaks to me so much. But just like the end of the video, right now, my clothes are clean, my room is tidy, I am speaking to my friends again, I even visited a doctor. I’m doing better. I will most likely go through a messy faze again at some point, but each time I make it through one I find new tricks, new ways to help myself. Sometimes simply getting out of bed can be the hardest challenge of the day, and sometimes it feels like you can’t do it at all. But if you take it one day at a time, one minute at a time, one moment at a time, even if that moment just includes you rolling over towards the edge of the bed, moving your feet off it, sitting up, it all gets you closer. Just like getting through all the moments gets you closer to one day being able to fly past the moments with ease. Open the blinds, and take the next step, You will get there eventually.
