Quick update: I mistakenly used an old version of the spreadsheet which had incorrect calculations for furor vs moonglow as well as Healing Touch HPCT. Healing touches HPCT is between nourish and regrowth; purely a numerical error and changes nothing wrt what I said about HT vs regrowth usage. Furors MP5 is about 240 in a 4 minute fight, still considerably lower than moonglow. There is a breakpoint of fight length where furor is better than moonglow given the value of the initial flat mana gained from the larger mana pool will increase as fight length gets lower. Furor will conversely get weaker as fight lengths get longer. Moonglow is still superior for basically all relevant fight lengths and is much superior for progression where fight lengths will average longer even than 4 minutes. The % mana pool increase from furor will obviously scale with intellect on gear. Moonglow will scale with total mana spent which is scaled by both intellect and spirit. There could be break points in t12/13 gear that affect their relative value as gear progresses. I would still use 3/3 moonglow for t11 and for progression in t12/13 assuming you don't need the utility provided by the instant energy/rage as the average fight length will be well beyond the threshold where moonglow beats out furor.
Thanx for showing me first the Priest and now the Druid healer :) Specially love your UI setup, that itself made a huge change for me, even had to learn how to basic setup Grid2 so it showed all the Druid icons when i copied your setup from the Priest vid :)
Thanks! I have my druid grid2 profile on my discord in the UI section if you want to copy it. That said its great that youre learning how to set up your own raidframes and youre always better off making your own according to your own needs if you can.
Loving all your content so far, really appreciate your knowledge and effort you've been putting into these. Thanks man. Quick question about the mastery: how does it interact with LB's refresh? I.e if I stack Lb w/o mastery then refresh with a direct heal, is it boosted?
what are you using to track harmony and nature's grace in the middle of your screen? i have something similar but it doesnt show when grace is off cd, i like yours because it shows when ready, then when proc'd it shows time left then goes away until its ready again. very useful
I loved the video and it helped me a lot, I'm playing wow for the first time, and I chose druid restoration for this adventure, but I had a doubt and English is not my mother language. Can you explain to me why engineering as a profession is so important? Thank you and continue with the great content
Engi gives you access to a belt enchantment that gives you a very powerful sprint on a 3 minute cd. This utility is insane for raiding and the intellect on use glove enchant is also comparable to the benefits from the other professions so theres no reason not to be engi.
All my weakauras and ui stuff is on my discord. My druid was might not be on there though, theyre extremely scuffed tbh. Basically just a port of the fojji pack from wrath.
What are your thoughts on Shard of Woe? I have Alch stone, Doll and Shard rn and using Stone and Shard with 2032 haste to have some extra heal when I need it. But sometimes I think that it would be better with like Doll+Cho HC trinket or smth
doll+372 cho trinket is going to be better in the cast majority of situations. Alch stone is decent if and only if it gets you over a haste breakpoint for wg/rejuv Shard is just not great wrt mana in its post nerf state and the haste on use is only at all valuable if you min max it perfectly. Losing out on passive int on a trinket is a HUGE loss.
Mining is basically useless outside of the 1/1000000 situation where the stam saves you from getting one shot. Herbalism is significantly worse than any main stat profession but the haste on use is ok. Herb is much better than mining.
just so im understanding the mastery thing - it's a 10 sec buff to HoT's after you use a cast heal right? And lifebloom lasts 10 seconds, and you refresh it on the tank with a cast heal - so provided you're casting either a Swiftmend on the tank to proc the aoe floor heal, or just throwing a nourish at them every 10 seconds to keep the lifebloom up, the mastery should be up perma right
Nice guide. I only raid 10m at the moment so my train of thought was to separate tranq and ToL and use as separate CD's given that the raid has less of them do you think this is the right way to go for 10m or use tranq during tree still?
If you need then separate to live damage events then definitely. Depending on your raids hps splitting can sometimes actually increase your total hps by reducing overhealing of tree/tranq. Its situational.
I'm confused about the Haste rating soft cap. Sites also say get Haste to above 916 for a 5th tick of Rejuv, but when testing, I get healed 5 times as well if I'm not even wearing armor with 0 Haste. Also sites say 12.5% is the first Haste cap, but that is no where near 917 rating. Any advice? I'm getting the same number of HoTs from Rejuv with 928 Haste as I do naked.
Theyre probably decently close as long as you min max innervate and spend all your mana. Id have to do the math but I'm pretty sure genesis will come out ahead on any reasonable fight length. Also the more mana hymns that get pressed the more valuable furor is although fucking eles and mages always seem to soak 90% of hymn ticks.
@@MrEXtAc3 Guess its a personal preference then as you do not seem to agree, but after hitting the different soft caps for haste its more beneficial with spirit for my play style at least. Yes. If you cast 3 stacks of LB then Nourish, the HoT increases with the Mastery added until it expires or LB falls off
Thank you! I know they’re not as hard to play but are you going to do a resto shaman guide?
I probably will at some point yes.
Thanks.
