I'm finally putting finish on my first dovetailed chisel box and I used your guide to make the dovetails and at first I was a little nervous about messing them up so I left my boards a couple inches wider so I could cut off my bad first practice dovetails but I didn't have too LOL My box has turned out great especially for my first ever dovetails that I have ever cut. Thank you so much for the guide and the in depth videos on how to use it.

I was ready to complain about the cost of the jig, but I looked it up and they are really affordable! For a high-quality tool, this is really impressive. It's about what a good combination square would set you back.

Awesome video guys. I have been cutting hand cut DTs inconsistently for ages. I recently bought Jonathan's amazing jig. WOW, thanks Jonathan. Also wanted to give Lee Marshall a shout out for his incredible Knew Concepts Coping/Fret saws, they simply take the work out of removing DT waste. Gotta love good products/tools that actually do what they are supposed to. When you find them, spread the word, hopefully when you are looking at your next tool, someone like me is there to make a choice easier.
    Thanks again guys.

Could you tell me if this was a 1:6 or 1:8 ratio and where I can purchase the kit and both types of saws.

If you have to put finish on it the glue may not let the stain or finish absorb in all situations. Save yourself some trouble and use the saw dust in some finish to fill. That way it will take the finish perfectly.
