I took a 3 day seminar that Sterling did a few years ago. Well worth the cost. This artist will get you to loosen up your technique and greatly improve your watercolor painting. He's very thorough in showing you the tricks of the trade and I learned more in those three days then I did in years of painting. I urge anyone interested in learning or improving their watercolor painting to check out Mr. Edwards classes or instruction materials.
I recently discovered that painting a sunset gradient is not as simple as I thought. Now in my reference photo, the sunset goes from (top to bottom) deep blue to light blue, then yellow, orange, red and purple at the bottom. He painted in different order, but I will try to use the concept.
Great lesson . Thank you Sterling
Thanks Ron, so glad you liked it!
