"Who among you has seen the dragon? Who saw it raze a village at the southern shore? No doubt you were filled with fear and awe, with trepidation, with despair... "
That's actually a pretty awesome reimagining of Gran Soren, the city looks pretty defensible atop that peak, definitely looks like it could keep out all manner of giant monsters. (excerpt for flying ones..) Also love that there appears to be actual farmlands outside the city, this was something I wish the game's overworld had if only it was a bit bigger. Maybe someday a sort of rebooted Dragon's Dogma could do a bit of reimagining of most of Gransys both in what's there and increase the scope of things. Like having vast tracks on farmland encircle Gran Soren the capital of the Duchy, with small castles, bunker-like structures in caves or basements, and fortified towers nestled atop rocky hills doting the verdant landscape to serve as places of refuge for peasants both from beasts or armies of humans raiding and ofcourse the odd monster or two roaming about. Imagine doing that hydra head excort with Mercedes and the men of the Enlistment corps. as you make your way past the last gate through the Moonsbit pass and more up close you lay your eyes on a most enchanting site, fields of golden wheat, patches of vegetables freshly sprouting that shine like emeralds in the warm light of the sun, little pockets of villages that look cozy if humble the dwellings much like your home in Cassardis. People gather around on the sides of the main road leading out of the dreaded mountains to see the strange procession with the newly arisen making the final approach to the great capital's gaint, sturdy gates. That said my only real complaint is that the city while impressive and the walls surely look an imposing sight but for some reason it all appears to me a bit smaller looking, if that makes sense like it doesn't look like an exceptional large town nor a small but bustling city of the relatively prosperous dutchy of Gransys. I'm sure it's much larger on the inside but it feels kinda cramped, not so spread out like it looks in game even when viewed from afar.
Imagine this cover playing as you fall down with your pawn at the end of the game 😭
Now that would be wild.

I see you posted this 4 years ago.. But i was just wondering - do you happen to have sheets, and are you willing to share?
Sounds lovely!
I too want the sheets please 😤
I want the sheets tooo
Sadly this is an outtake from the game itself. If we want the sheets, we'll need to ask Tadayoshi-sensei himself.
