The interview questions in your guide really helped me prepare for my first teaching job! And I got the job 🎉 thank you!!!!
That’s amazing to hear! Well done 👏
Happy for you
It’s so hard to see everything you need to during your tour/interview. I would have loved to have seen what the staffroom is like during lunchtime before working in certain schools I have worked in but you don’t always get that opportunity. Lots of these points are really relevant. Keeping an eye on how often a school advertises is definitely the most important one!
I completely agree. Thanks Greta.
Hi Tom, I'm enjoying your videos. Just wondering if you've made any videos about questions that may be asked in an international school interview? Thankyou.
I have actually.

What school in Dubai, from your experience is a really good overall school to work for?
I got suckered in to department head of English and the vp was crazy and notorious for abusing whoever they hired- it was rakaag in rak! Ouafa the vp is crazy- They were always looking for an English head on indeed! Wish I had this warning sooner!
I think putting photos of children online - aside from requiring parental permission to use them in advertising is an area fraught with difficulties. This is a dangerous area that needs a lot of consideration rather than being held up as a red flag. The lack of 'actual' children from the school may be the safer road of best practise and therefore should not necessarily be assumed that the school is not a great school!
Fair but my point was schools that don’t demonstrate what the children are doing… Doing being the activities that they are involved with. Most schools will gain permission from parents too. It’s more about community communication
