    what I hate most about boost mobile service is that when someone sends you a picture you literally have to end your phone calls in order for that picture to come through and the service has always been that way

      Can you be on a phone call and RUclips at the same time. I remember years ago when I was with boost I couldn't get on social media when I was on a phone call. Metro you can and receive pictures and messages while on a call. I want to switch back but I want to know if those features changed. I googled it but can't find the answer.

    A lot of phone companies say unlimited data, but never say unlimited high speed data unless your paying over 100+ bucks a month.

    Indiana customer here.
    Lets see. The sun seems to screw up the signal. Once the sun is over the horizon its game over unless I find a strong signal. High speed and non. Data so slow without high-speed that it might as well be a flip phone from the 90s in a bad reception area. Waited 20 minutes for a page to load and had to hunt around for a signal spot.
    Do not get thier service unless you want to rage at your phone.

    Boost also doesn't kick certain AT&T-compatible phones off the network like Cricket does. Exactly why I can't be a Cricket customer.

    boost mobile is the worst service provider. I payed for the 60 dollar plan and the Internet never worked nor the service. I couldn't make calls nor use the internet and no one was able to tell me why. their customer service is trash

      Update: My phone service was Suspended and my ESIM locked down because I “violated T&C” by “Overusing” my “Unlimited data” plan😒 when I called and asked them to explain they could not give me a specific reason like what I was doing to “Misuse” the data instead they gave me 3 different reasons 1. Hotspot 2. Multi-FaceTime calls or 3. I was disturbing the 5G towers and it was sending off signals in there servers whatever tf that is supposed to mean so basically I was out $1,448 because I bought the phone and not a f***ing plan so FUCC boost and FUCC the IPhone 15 and FUCC 5G save your money buy a prepaid track phone

    I've been with boost for 6 years. Their $35 plan is fishing but paying for the $50 "unlimited" plan works when you have wifi @home. I had Verizon before boost & they service sucked & I paid more. I've gotten credits of all sorts when they messed up with boost. Long story short, when dealing with a prepaid service pay the bill on time consistantly. Those 2 things goes a long way.

    I've had terrible luck with boost. Was a virgin mobile customer with nothing bad to say about that for 8 years. Once switched to boost they almost immediately made me get a new phone saying they weren't going to send my previous one signal anymore. I tried setting up the new one with no success for several days. Waited for a weekend and went to the store. The dude told me it would be 35 dollars to actually get my phone online. That's bs but I needed it to work. 5 and a half months later it just started losing service whenever it wants to. It's only gotten worse over time. I ordered a new phone and off course it won't log into the fucking boost network. I'll have to go drive to the other side of the city and pay my bad costumer service fine. I only got 11 months out of my old phone and keep in mind it's been a turd the last several months.

    With AT&T 2G & 3G being decommissioned, Boost is actually upgrading the capped speeds & actually already have as they've moved it from 128kbps to 512kbps, which actually isn't that bad of speed.

      @@magictechreview no, but you do realize that's half a MB PER SECOND, right? It's quicker than it sounds or what you may think. Remember, it's all in the terminology. Cricket did the samething, but with different terminology. Also Cricket's soft cap happens way sooner at 22GB, instead of 35GB.

      Another RUclipsr just recently did a throttling test after going over 35gb on Boost Mobile. Speeds they got were 0.10mbps I believe. Or 2G speeds.

      @@artdogg50 that one was on the T-Mobile network. Those throttled speeds haven't been upgraded, only the AT&T network side has been, but it's also only for new activations right now.

    I had been with Virgin Mobile for 8 years. They went out of business in 2019 and I've been with Boost ever since. I have never had a single problem with either carrier.

    I got boost mobile now in 2023 I'm on the $50 a month plan and with the wheel spin I get discounts not a bad company.

    Boost is a total scam, tells me that I've used all my high speed data when I barely use the phone and I keep my data shut off when not in use, and their supposed 35 gig hot spot is nothing but bullsht, doesn't last what is supposed to.

    The lady at boost mobile stole my credit card info when I paid my monthly bill over the phone.. and used it to purchase food at some airport app. I heard the lady snap a photo as soon as I gave her the ecurity code on back of card. I called to complain and they hung up on me. Stay away from boost mobile they are crooks frauds.

      So....you do realize, this isn't a "Boost Mobile" thing, this type of thing can happen anywhere, at any time in any store - when you give someone your credit card, you never let them "walk off" out of your sight....and if they do, you know you can call the police if you think a crime has been committed - right then and there, there shouldn't have been no "when I called to complain" you should have got her a$$ right then and there.... It's not your fault that someone chose to steal from you, she's wrong 100%, but you have got to wise up!

    I'm with boost mobile right now, and yesterday they disabled my service temporarily and i'm like "Yo wtf..i JUST switched to them." I'm about to go up there and confront them. This man giving us the real. 🙌 #boostmobileistrash i wanna start my own company iLL Wireless 🔥

    Yes, i have boostmobile and it REALLY eats up that 35GB and once you use that up you are on SNAIL mode.....really.........slow. I agree with A LOT of what you said. Also, customer service is a F+ (a plus because someone answered).

      That's why I'm switching. It's slower than ever after the high speed data is gone. I used to have little issue with watching videos on RUclips and Twitter and now they don't even load. Their service is useless without the high speed data.

    Been a customer for years with boost. So long ago I still remember the unlimited gigs with no cap limit. I'm done ! Like this guy says, even outside the signal sucks but they have their stores signal strength boosted and you will notice how great it works inside their store and after you get home and use it, you realize that you've been lied to! You can forward this to boost along with my name! I want them to know that they are swindling me and others too!!! I would only tell someone that I didn't like to get boost!!! I recommend that Putin gets boost mobile!

      Dude I’ve personally supervised the construction and remodel of Boost stores all over Florida, and have never seen a signal booster installed. If the owner of that store wants one, he can buy one from Amazon and install it (and guess what: so can you!) but they don’t come preinstalled. Boost won’t even allow a store to open if there is bad coverage.

    I’ve been with boost for years, if you think their customer service is bad, I was with virgin mobile before that….they make them look great by comparison. I never had any trouble with boost up until they retired their old network back in may or whenever it was. The new network was great….for a month or two, now my phone never works at home half the time. Stupid things too, it’s either near full reception, or no reception at all. There’s now also new and larger dead spots, randomly my data just says E and won’t work…. It went to shit when they changed it last spring

    I have had no trouble with Boost at all. $40 phone, $50 a month unlimited text and phone time. I love it!!

      Yeah Boost Mobile is good! I been with them for the last 5 years, and no issues...not unless I get a phone that is from another company. My wife had a phone from another company and tried switching to Boost....so difficult to switch.

    Been with Boost mobile 18 years al way back when the chirp chirp was a thing nation wide walkie Talkie was a thing and still kind of miss it.$30 month unlimited. I will agree customer service can be bad at times, especially during covid it was absolutely terrible.But now and all the years before covid never had many issues customer service has been pretty good if you have all you're info correct.

    My billing is on the 18th my data renewal is on the 3rd, how did that happen? When in Dec it was agreed both would be renewed and data reset on the 3rd of each month now their saying they don't have records of that conversation. That's so screwed up and they continue with new excuses every time I contact them. Every month !!

    30 GB is not bad most people won't go over it and if you are going over then get a phone plan with another carrier, I suggest people to buy unlocked phones

    I bought a unlocked 2020 SE a couple years ago when they merged with dish reception was no good in the rural area where we reside . Reception was good for years .sooo ,paid $500 + & $60 for unlimited plan. Boost had the same phone for $150 at that time .was planning on getting spectrum or something.?.didn’t get around to it. Reception got better after a few months so stayed. For now anyway…

    I've had At&t for almost 2 decades now and pay only $40/ month unlimited everything. Never a issue working nationwide. By the way Cricket is owned by AT&T to those who don't know it.

    I have Boost Mobile and they sent me a text stating that my bill was due on the 18th of November so when I woke up Friday the 18th I tried to call my boss find out where I go to work half that day and my phone did not work my account had been suspended when I talked to Boost Mobile they said due to non-payment I should do the non-payment it's due today I still have the day to pay it they said oh I'm under the new something or other and my bill is actually due on the 16th will you sent me a bill on the 16th of November stating that it was due on the 18th of November but yet you won't honor it Boost Mobile's trash

    I was great with Boost until soon. I ordered a RAZR on sale. UPS lost it, and Boost sent me a refund. Now, I can't get the sale price any longer, although UPS losing the phone wasn't my fault. Customer service lied to me and told me it was out of stock (it's not) and that they would reorder it for me. The next day, I was told they didn't do that. The supervisors can't help, and they have no way of getting me to a manager. So I came away thinking I was lied to, tough nuggets you can't have the sale price anymore, you'll just have to wait til it comes around again, and eff off. Did I show my ass a little? Yes. Did I show it as much as I could? Not even close. So I Karen'd up and submitted a BBB complaint.

    Boost Mobile locked my service due to something, they agent didnt really explain, but what she said i violated something and she listed a few things, then she has that my phone will be locked for seven days, and then gave me a Ticket number and I can call back in 7 days probably business days and i can find out if i can have use of my phone again, no warnings and my bill was all paid up, thats who Boost Mobile is... And the women was breathing loudly all throughout and refused to answer any question and then something weird... she was just breathing and wouldn't say anything else !!! 🧐

    All phone company's have a data restriction unless your paying 50-60.00 a month or more they may be unlimited data but in small print they have the right to throttle back your speed once you hit the data quota !!

      we vote with our wallets my man if they don't keep up some level of service then people will leave in drives and never come back. If you get a cheap McDonald's burger you expect it to at least be fully cooked and have certain things on it that are correct? Even things are cheap they still need to come with what they are said come with.

    I had iPhone 8 internet was fast my FaceTime worked I upgraded to iPhone 13 my internet barely works and my FaceTime connection is so horrible I can barely use it..what can I do to fix this?

    I've been a Boost Mobile customer for over 10 years now, no complaints from me.
    Boost Mobile service works fine in my area and most all over the state of Florida where I live. I don't travel much outside of Florida so I don't care about nationwide and worldwide network coverage, etc.
    Boost Mobile has always lacked a larger variety of phone selection, but over the years they have gotten better and better.
    Customer Service is fine, plenty of local Boost Mobile stores in my area and the 1-800 Customer Service is fine too, etc.

    Boost slow down so slow after the data is used that it makes the phone almost unusable. Wasn't as bad back in the day and I've used boost on and off for years after having for years. I have the $15 dollar plan now and used boost one to bring the bill down.

    Boost Mobile's holding my a32 5G hostage for like another 4 months this is ridiculous. Especially since the phone was paid in full when I got it

      I got approved for the Q Link Unlimited Plan got the SIM card. But they refused to unlock my phone. And the cheapest plan I can get is $35 unless I start a whole new account

      They have been telling me for days they took down the entire network to update them.Also known as they screwed up big time and don't know how to fix it.Ive been without network for the last week,dropping calls like crazy and it siphoned my data to the point it's gone.And that was from auto updating o. Their end and they won't do shit about it! Your better served to drop Boost at this point.Hell they got hateful in the online agent chat and I'm done with them next month when I can unlock both my a32 5g phones.At this point I'd take straighttalk and not have half these data caps and network headaches

    I wanna know why my phone is 4g lte and they keep threatening to shut my entire phone down today after threatening it for a year.
    They removed my auto renewal for payment. Good. Maybe they know I'll leave. Cause tell me why as soon as I paid off this phone now they want me to "upgrade" when I can't even use it half the time.

    I have mixed feelings Abt Cricket Wireless, but it's my secondary device so it's not a deal breaker. You can upgrade on CW after 6 months. Some of their live tech support is out-sourced.. I'm not impressed with their 5G speeds. But I have their 70 5G plan. Cricket's phone prices are less than Boost's

    So I just joined boost Payed my bill on the 19th which I should of payed on the 18th they shut me off now their telling me my phone won't be back on until possibly the 24 th wtf I'm definitely not staying with them.

    Bought my phone from boost, not locked to carrier, any sim will register the carrier on the sim. They also had no problem giving me my accnt# and transfer pin#, 5 min call to customer service and done. Not sure what this dude is talking about.

    My service sucks and I want to get network unlocked but no luck yet saying I have to wait one year but fone is no good to me on boost mobile network is it a way I can get unlocked early

    Boost sucks so bad. Cant get my my voicemail. Will not get me thru to customer service. Keep saying theyre under construction. Voicemail says I dont have enough funds to listen to my voicemail when Im on autopay so take what you need. Its a joke , a bad one.

      Boost apparently won't let me cancel my service with them. I got a new phone thru spectrum, no longer need boost mobile, went to the store I bought the boost phone from and where I started my service with them, lady tells me they can't cancel service at the store? So I call the number she gives me, after being on hold for about 2 hours, I finally get a guy with such a thick Indian accent that I have no idea what he was saying, but I told him I don't need their service anymore and that they are not to charge my credit card ever again, wake up today and sure enough, they tried to charge me again. Luckily I have a credit card that I can lock so they weren't able to charge me, but now I've had to cancel my Capital One card and I have to wait for a new card with new numbers on it to come in the mail.
      I'm warning everyone I can to not deal with boost mobile at all.. an absolute dumpster fire of a company all the way around

    Boost Mobile is a joke, Boost Mobile phones are always locked, after two years of service, the phone still locked, once in awhile they turned off the service before the service expired and they asked a bunch of questions before they turned it back on, customer service was terrible.

    There are many good things to say about your video but there are also far more not so good things to say. Much of what you say is based only on your personal desires, wants and needs as an advanced gadget geek like myself. As a high end high demand user Boost is not designed for you. Remember boost is a gap filler for those customers who need decent capability and capacity at a cut rate price. GOTO tier one providers for more then cry over data costs and caps there not at Boost. Running through devices every 6 months is a joke and not in anyway the result again of Boost Mobile. You are expending and wasting resources based again on your desire seemingly to have the latest and greatest devices. When you know like I know much of the hype around cellular development (better phone more cameras, better finishes ) is much slower to occur than 6 months from dev to consumer with the current chip shortages. Yes Boost is a MNO and selecting the appropriate network for each consumer is a critical part of the sale. Customers must be interviewed and quizzed to ascertain the best plan for them sometimes its just not with Boost. Also Boost does not require a year on the same phone before you may change phones. Currently Boost offers upgrade discounts after 9 months. Also you as the "consumer" may BYOD any device that is compatible or purchase any device you want from Boost at Full retail and use it on Boost mobile. There is no trap here. You are only trapped by your thinking.

      No i myself ran into the same issue with the data cap and 12 month carrier lock due to me getting my phone for a "discounted" price. All the other stuff you said was right though

    The woman on the phone from Boost Mobile started getting sarcastic with me when I mentioned I was approved for ACP program. Just want my damn phone unlocked but I guess it ain't happening because this stupid 12month policy

      Same happened to me brother so u know what i did? Filed 2 complaints with the FCC one for not sim unlocking my 2020 iphone and one for avoiding my acp approval and not allowing me to use the discount and called boost one month after the complaint with only 2 months under my belt and my brand new iPhone se, and on the second call the rep network unlocked my iphone even though I wasn't with them a year because ITS ILLEGAL- Stand your ground get ya phone unlocked for use with other sim cards and carriers it worked for me lol I wasn't taking no for an answer

    I'm getting sick of Boost Mobile after being with them for over 6 years. I've been trying to purchase a phone over their website on my account for a week and my debit card gets declined. After going in circles with Boost and my bank, I talked to a sales rep at a Boost Mobile store and he told me it's an issue with insurance company that handles the credit/debit card purchase for Boost and the shipping/mailing address being the same. Told me that the only way it would work is by using a card with a different address. So I cannot buy a phone off their site with my card. Even tried it with my roommates debit card and it too got declined. I don't know why Boost has not fixed this problem as I found a reddit post with this same exact issue two years back. I'm considering switching to T-Mobile.

    It would be impossible to over use that data in a 24 hour period even if in watched videos that whole 24 hours it was impossible to use 30 GB and a 10.00 extra data add on

    When it comes to phone companies only giving a certain amount of data before it starts to run slow just use your phone on Wi-Fi at home (if you have it) and save your data to use when you aren’t near any Wi-Fi. But yes some people don’t have Wi-Fi at home and only have the data on their phone plan.

    Yup, had them for 2 months after switching from Metro not only is the service extremely slow at the cap it barely works at all, their customer service is HORRIBLE they Don't Know Jack. They have ZERO KNOWLEDGE of anything having to do with their job duties they just answer the phones fast, that's it, and they can't help you with nothing at all their powerless. I can see them going out of business fast, I'm switching at the next due date.

      I think they are close to going out of business. They terminated my phone after switching to their AT&T line. After three weeks they terminated my account. I just switched to T-Mobile

    I knew when the merger happened it wss the end of boost Mobile,when it was Sprint owned the network if they had good service in your area you where good. They had the same priority as sprint.

    I am leaving Boost Mobile because they stole $30 from me the people that they have working for them use my card at a store called Moe food market
    These are people that work for them that work from overseas like in the Philippine in different countries work for Boost Mobile here in the United States I do have a dispute going with them and I'm going to get all my money back and I'm canceling with Boost Mobile as of now

      My goodness. I just paid the monthly $15.00 bill for the brand new phone I got for my mom. She hasn't even had it for two whole months. I paid it in full but she can't even make a call. I just got done reading online where Boost Mobile is going completely out of business. Why wouldn't they take their phones of the market place knowing this information so that people (like you an I) who didn't know about this wouldn't purchase the phones and plans?? Were you able to get in touch with a customer service rep?

      Yep they sure do have them working for boost. And most of them are thieves!! It's disgusts me how they are over there in South East Asia. They steal baby monkey's and make videos and they abuse them then they throw them back to the forest and the wild monkey's kill the domesticated monkey. It'd really bad over there with that. And India ripping off senior citizens with the scams on computers and thru phone calls. Sorry for the long story I'm just so mad at people ripping people off!! I'm glad ur getting ur money back!!

    My story:
    NOVEMBER/18/2022:
    I went to Boost mobile website and purchase a SAMSUNG A51 last year.
    Over time, my screen cracked so I took it to a pro repair shop . After picking up the repaired device, I tried to get back online and couldn't, So, I called tech support at Boost mobile to troubleshoot the re- activation process.
    A FEMALE tech advised me to: "TAKE THE BACK OFF AND REMOVE THE SIM CARD".....even after I told her that I didn't think this A51 Samsung had a removable back. She insisted that I try to remove the back and take the sim card out.
    I tried and tried, finally shattering the new phone screen ( which I had paid $100 to fix AND getting a sliver of glassing my finger!)
    I finally told the tech I couldn't find a way to open the phone and I'd take it back to the shop the next morning.
    The next morning the repair shop told me that because I tried to open the phone it was damaged beyond repair.
    Boost mobile says they will NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY and WILL NOT REPLACE MY PHONE!!!
    THEIR TECH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY PHONE!!!!!
    THEIR ILL-TRAINED FEMALE TECH GAVE ME ADVICE AND INSTRUCTIONS THAT PERMANENTLY DAMAGED MY PHONE BEYOND REPAIR!!!
    HOW CAN I CONTACT THE CORPORATE OFFICE ?
    I NEED HELP AND A RESOLUTION!!!

    Back again. Just talked with a guy at Walmart. Had a T Roc name tag..?.don’t know about all that but he said of all the companies Boost is the WORST to deal with to port to another. They are absolutely terrible to deal with if you try to leave. I v been with them for 10years +. I have gone to Best Buy and paid 600 bucks for a Apple phone that was on sale at Boost for 150. Just to have an unlocked phone to be able to go somewhere else. Been such a pain in the rear and I’m still with them. It’s nuts. As far as the 35 GB cap. Maybe they hooked me up so I wouldn’t leave or something. I could leave my phone running day and night on videos all month long and it doesn’t slow down. But when I get the notice of 35 gig has been used the hotspot is gone. No matter if I used any of it or not. Then my young daughter comes runningwanting my phone.
