    I picked mine up last Tuesday night. I got mine in metallic grey. So far so good. I hope to get many years out of mine. I live in Rhode Island and these are hard to come by. The dealer said when they get one in, they're gone within in a day or two.

    I have a fully loaded 2021 Tacoma SR5 Trail Edition in Cement and I love it. The SR5 is simple, you can get additional options over an SR and can customize the hell out of them. That Barcelona Red pops. Congrats and welcome to the Taco family!

    I like it! I'm waiting for prices to come down before I go shopping for one. I've never paid MSRP or higher: Wait until you can buy one for $1,500 to $2,000 below MSRP which was the norm before the pandemic.

    I have the same truck. Just wondering if you knew it had an auto start? When your truck is locked hit lock 3 times then it will start and run for 10 min. My key fob nor my salesperson mentioned it. Good trucks and love the color. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you buddy, it’s a crazy market but something to keep in mind even if you over pay for a tacoma they are worth more after you drive it off the lot then brand new. You can possibly get 5-10k more then what you paid for it. I personally only paid msrp which was 38k at my local Toyota dealer here in Philly pa.

    Great review. 1 question, I’ve never seen a truck with a power steering cooler, isn’t that an oil or transmission cooler? Of course, maybe I heard you wrong. Either way, thanks for the review.

    • @trdfenz3005
      @trdfenz3005  Год назад +1

      Yes it is a power steering cooler, many vehicles have power steering coolers. You figure when it’s super hot outside and your turning that wheel a lot you need a cooler to cool the fluid down to prevent damage to the steering rack and pump and seals. The transmission cooler is integrated into the radiator and the oil cooler is located under the truck by the transmission . Thanks for the feedback

    Just bought a 2022 Sport and towed with it for the first time this last weekend, what a joke, pulling an aluminum trailer with about 500 pounds on it, all the tranny wanted to do was go up and down for my 5 hour trip even with pushing my tow button....good thing I don't tow much or I would be getting rid of this thing ASAP....so if you are going to tow find something different instead of a tacoma.....nice review of your pickup

    • @trdfenz3005
      @trdfenz3005  2 года назад +5

      Excellent. The body gaps id say are flawless. All Toyotas and Lexus have beautiful lines and gaps. I’m a collision repair tech so I see almost every make of vehicle and would rank Toyota number 1 in fit and finish and that indeed goes for the tacomas built in Mexico . You have to keep in mind the assembly plants all follow the same basic procedure on assembly and quality control regardless of what country it’s assembled in.

Look online about fords fit and finish on their trucks absolutely terrible. Toyota Tacoma holds its value better then any other vehicle on the road. They simply run forever.
