  • In this video, we'll dive into the art of drawing using shadows and light to create atmosphere and depth. I’ll guide you through three exercises: drawing an old tree stump to explore tone and atmospheric perspective, sketching a vintage teapot to build realistic forms and solid shapes, and capturing an ordinary chair in a room bathed in backlighting to transform a simple scene into one full of mood. These techniques will help you master creating realistic drawings with space, light, and emotion. Perfect for artists of all levels wanting to enhance their skills in tonal work and lighting effect

Thank you for today’s lesson, Mr. Coxon. I am starting to love sketching more and more now. And yes the shading technique does add mystery and depth to your subjects. This lesson is really helpful .
