  • The continuation of Gold to Grand Champ with Ray.. This time we talk about positioning and pressure as well as learn a few more required mechanics for Rocket League. Ray is moving up the ranks very quickly and is starting to show huge signs of progress. I am starting to believe that we could get Grand Champ before Christmas.. But we get better at Rocket League one step at a time and one mechanic at a time. Today we learn the half flip and the wave dash and the video is split into two training parts.

There are diamonds with nearly 1000 hours, Ray is gonna get through diamond in probably 2-4 weeks at this rate. The first real skill jump is diamond to champ so im excited to see how he goes
Also im trying to get gc aswell and training fundamentals+ consistency. This is the first time ive genuinely trained and tried to push in competitive because Ray motivated me, ive had the game since 2016 but Ray is definitely gonna pass me. Im a diamond but i play ranked with a champ bc it’s the only mate i got that still plays the game so i know i can get out of diamond, i just need my friend to drop down to my level to help me but cant because that means he’s screwing over his random teammates and trying to solo Q diamond is like drinking a whole bottle of hot sauce, you get teammates that play like silvers, it’s hard to adapt your playstyle to someone who goes for every ball and always misses it, i legitmately i have to try and block my teammates out of my head and just 1v2 (which im almost capable of doing consistently to the point where i only lose by 1 goal)
I dont like blaming random teammates, i make my fair share of mistakes but almost anytime i go up on the ball for a second and say, lose a 50 immediately, my teammates are just over in the hawaii sipping on cocktails
