(I'm not affiliated or paid by Daniel) - The galactic course is by far the best investment I've made in 2022. Working through the modules, lessons and really understanding whats presented have made me a much better player! For context, I bought a different program of fusion licks and though its OK I didn't understand how this person was getting the "outside sound". I reviewed this course again with fresh eyes and the triads he was using immediately starting jumping out and the connection of "how" finally came to light.
@@davidmiranda7464 No doubt Jens is a great teacher. His lessons though don't explain things to where I understood them well. Also, the vibe of the teacher plays an important role and personally, Jens is not my type of teacher but can appreciate his abilities that work best for others.
The word that keeps falling out of my mouth starts with an F and isn't appropriate here, but... Wow! What an incredible return on an investment of 8 and a half minutes. Daniel, thank you so much, man. My mind is blown but I feel like tectonic plates in my brain have just shifted and locked into better positions. Superb. Can I say plucking plantastic?
I just want you to know: I'm 57 orbits around our star on planet Earth. I watch a lot of videos on music, theory and techniques. Everybody I study on University of YT is wonderful and I'm subscribed to quite a few. Your videos however are really user friendly. Your method of teaching with the looper and examples of chord inversion you deliver are immediately useful & available to the pupil. I've always played bass, last 4 years I've dived into guitar & found you just recently. In a short amount of time you given me a lot of useful info. It's about finding my way around the neck. Liked & subscribed.
I am so happy to read your comment right now, Dakin! It's great to have you here, I hope to keep providing valuable content to you. Spread the word :D stay in touch. Daniel
Every one of your videos is one more musical epiphany affecting my poor brain. Please continue, your approach makes me at last make sense of things for which I've been questioning myself for decades. Huge thanks!
I never played bass solos (my phrasing was boring and pentatonic ..) I played only strong and solid the bass lines. After your very clear explanations, with your loop examples EXPLAINING WHICH SCALES AND LICKS YOU USE AND HOW, your wonderful and inspiring phrasing has opened up a nu world for me and makes me want to do solos! Better than my english.... :-) thank you Daniel!!

Just the HX stomp: (reverb, looper, freeze like decay, fast tremolo for that ending at the intro)

@@bowlofrice7214 Happy to help, thanks for being here :) stay in touch
Can I do these exercises also with major 7 chords and ionian scale? It seems it sounds less stronger than mixolydian
For ionian stuff Check out my "I couldn't Bebop" vid 🎸💫🙋🏻♂️
@@WeissGuitar Thank you, you're one of the best teacher out there, really appreciate all your stuff
3:00 sounds very Jerry Garcia-ish to my ears
Someone mentioned his name before here, never checked him out, any recommendations where to start?
The loop at the start is so groovy I couldn’t get past the first minute of this video 😂
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏 :DD
When you went Mixolydian I heard Sesame Street😂. “Tell me how to get to Sesame Street.”
Thanks : ) new lesson is up!
