Hello I am getting this error message. Changed New battery, but still receiving this error message. Cant find any answers online. What is likely to be the problem ? "Electronic circuit fault, have the vehicle repaired" pops up on dashboard when I start the car. B1627 / Intermittent / Battery State of Charge (SOC) : Voltage Sensor Fault
It certainly sounds like the BPGA problem. But could also be bad battery terminal connection or the unit that is attached to the negative terminal on your battery - not sure what it's called. Please google "bpga problem peugeot" and read through forum threads - there are some helpful ideas, as far as I remember.
I have a 2018 Peugeot 308. the battery is broken, I put a new one, but the engine only turns and does not start. throws out engine, gearbox, tire sensor errors. on diagnostics it shows that there is no communication with the transmission computer, and something else. any help?
The easiest thing would be the ground connection or battery cable. Looks like the car still gets low voltage. The worst thing I can think of is a shorted wiring somewhere. But of course, there is no way to inspect that remotely.
My opel crossland 1.2 (2023 15600 km) has the same issue. At first, service checked thr car wit OBD and couldnt find anything. Then, i changed the petrol station where i used to go. After that, my car dindt give any fault until petrol was down to 1/4. So, i thought that it might be related to the level of petrol. Though, today i ran into same situation although i have about %40 fuel in the tank. İ'm trying to find the reason behind the fault but i couldnt.
My Citroen C4 Cactus is counting down from 700 saying starting prevented now on 150. Does it actually not start when it reaches zero? I know that sounds silly but I've had in in the garage a few times for services etc they just told me to change to the more expensive diesel !!
This may be connected with the AdBlue, as far as I'm concerned. The computer may actually prevent it from starting when it counts to zero, reset is needed. I would disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes and see what it shows when reconnected. But it's a problem with emission/ecology systems and more details are needed for more precise advice.
Had the message pop up, got diagnostics, nothing really of note so had plugs changed, has come up again. But doesnt always. Maybe changing battery is the next step. How do i know the battery is an issue? Will the mechanic be able to see or do i just get it done anyway
I would find a good store that sells batteries. They usually have equipment to test the battery under load. Or use a multimeter to check if voltage drops below 9-9.5 volts when cranking in the morning.
Hi there, my Peugeot 308 gave the engine fault: repair needed sign and I took it to the repair guy and he connected to the detector machine but he says nothing wrong is detected. But after a week, same signal came and my car started trembling and when I stopped it the fan ran for very long with a very loud noise. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? I am so stressed.
There is certainly something wrong. The fan may be on due to other reasons, but it's worth checking it with some other mechanic. Unfortunately, there are so many reasons for this warning that it's literally impossible to tell you anything without inspecting the car.
Did you check the batter (load test)? The seller must have done that before selling it to you. If there is no way you can return the battery or exchange it, try charging it with a good charger. Also, if the vehicle is pretty fresh, it may require "registering the new battery" kind of service. Any dealer or specialized repair shop can do that for peanuts of money.
Thank you so much for all the trouble to post this video. My Peugeot 5008 1.6A hdi blue has the same msg. ENGINE FAULT. REPAIR NEEDED. but the mechanic has found that a capacitor to the electrics is malfunctionig. Anyway he doesn't want to tell me the part or component number. Anyone knows.

I’m currently experiencing these problems with my opel grandland X , and I don’t know if I should continue driving or get the car checked first
Usually, it's nothing criminal behind this warning. But inspection won't hurt, of course.
@@DmitrySapko thank you for the advice

Mine started to show after some time with the a.c turned on. Does it have anything to do with each other?
The engine is loaded more when it roatates the AC pump. But the ac is not the reason for the warning. It may just trigger the message more often.

My one same I change every thing but sigh again come fan on misfire
You must change the radiator fan resistor, temperature sensor and oxygen sensor Bank 1 & Bank 2
I have the same problem, and it happened after i replaced the battery. i dont know what to do. And last time the engine didn't start .

I believe it's impossible to say the part number of this kind without looking at the car. Could be a hundred of options for several model years.
