Honestly really don't understand why they bothered to make a film about this. The interview is not so old that people need reminding of it, like Frost/Nixon. I don't get why anyone would care about the background of organising the interview. It's the BBC - not some no-name production company that somehow managed to get a massive scoop ahead of more established names.
Anyway, whatever. I'll just rewatch the interview or the highlights rather than the film.
    PS - Cool video.

Thank you and honestly I get that. If they decided to make this in 10 years or so I think it hits different

The in-depth interviews with both Emily Maitlis and Sam McAlister (both on youtube) on how they secured this interview and then how the whole thing went down are surprisingly absolutely fascinating, so even though it seems kinda soon to make a film, I can really understand why they decided it would make good movie material... and gosh they really put together a great cast for it, that's for sure!! I'm looking forward to checking it out!!

Rufus really does seal it for me. He's so good especially in that third act.
