My main pc is a Ryzen 9 5900x and an RTX 3060, Overkill for me tbh. For live events put High settings with Lumen enabled. You can put medium settings and keep lumen to high to make sure your above 60fps always.

Probably not. If you use performance mode then you’ll probably get stable 120fps with optimizations such as XMP. But if you ever get a better gpu your pretty much set to have a good combo. 5600 is a good cpu and in the future future I recommend upgrading to the 5800X3D. Best cpu for the am4 platform
Are you getting a graphics card as well or your going to be using the integrated graphics for now? The 5500gt and 5600gt are extremely similar. I would go with the 5500gt and start saving up for a gpu.
can you tell me how you keep your fps so stable without stutters? I have an RX 570 and i know the RX 580 is noticeably better than the RX 570 but still i feel like i shouldnt be having as many stutters as i do
I have the rx580 2048sp which is technically an rx570 with a higher memeory clock speed. Not a true rx580 but try these tips First 2 matches are always laggy (shaders are loading in) But try these tips: 1. Enable XMP/DOCP in your bios (this step is the most important one) 2. Set Windows Power Plan to High Performance 3. Don’t wear animated cosmetics, keep it simple 4. Cap your fps to let’s say 144 or 200fps 5. For performance mode play on 100% 3D res and set your view distance to medium or high. (High meshes with a far view distance can help with stutters) (Important) 6. Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date and your window updates 7. If you record gameplay lower the bit rate, or if u don't record disable recordings. This should increase your fps by 15fps 8. Make sure your pc temperatures are good. For the GPU and CPU anything below 78 degrees is fine. 9. Make sure your pc doesn’t have extreme dust. 10. Close all your tabs and disable unwanted background apps 11. Set Fortnite as a high priority task in the task manager every time you play Fortnite. 12. Make sure you dont have vsync enabled, this can lower your fps by alot 13. Make sure your storage isn't filled up all the way. 14. Disable Game Bar 15. Enable resize rebar and 4G decoding in your bios (Important) 16. Disable high textures in the epic games launcher then try performance mode again. 17. Just walk and glide for your first 2 matches. The game should feel better after your 2 matches. (Important) If your confused on any of these steps you can search them up on yt and just follow along, very simple

1st cap your fps to 120fps 2nd its the 8gb of ram and your cpu that causes the drops 16GB is basically the minimum now. Your cpu is old and Fortnite is mostly a cpu based game. Just use simple skins, cap to 120fps, use high performance power plan and start saving up for a new mobo/cpu combo. You can get an 8gb of ram stick for less than $20 used on ebay. Just check your mobo to see if its ddr3 or ddr4 and check the mhz speed (task manager). Then buy 1 8gb stick of ram that is similar if not the same as your curent ram stick.
