The 2680 V4 is the best bang for buck option in this price range. Something like a 2699 V4 would be better suited to a budget workstation build where there might be some gaming on the side. But for the best performance an unlocked and over clocked V3 would be the best option if you wanted the maximum FPS this platform can offer. Given that these were mostly released between 2013-2015 and that they were designed for data entre applications GPU bottleneck is entirely unavoidable but the 2680 V4 could work well with anything up to a 2080 Ti, well on paper at least.

@@AshlynUwU_Gamer this is the Arc A580. The B580 just came out and it’s priced at $250 but it’s worth the money. It performs better than the RTX 4060 in certain games and it barely came out so driver updates will make this card even better. Highly recommend the new B580. But I also recommend upgrading your cpu, at least to a Ryzen 5 5600 for now then in the future the 5700x3D

You just have to play with the settings ..avoid the auto graphics settings it makes your game run crappy ..try dx 12 at med settings 100 % resolution. Turn off antlistic setting ..I ran the 9500 with a 1050 ti card runs awesome. . Oh cap your fps at 60 ..it will work good

I'll keep helping out where I can in the comment section for now though. Yeah man doubling your ram for $6 is a no brainer and I would have done the same. With 32GB I wonder what 1440p performance would be like with something like a 2080 Ti? I thought about it in response to someone asking you to pair it with a 3060 (bad idea by the way, X99 boards will always be PCIE 3 x 16). Although, a 4060 could also work as that is PCIE 4.0 x 8 iirc

@@SandwichTech_ I have a I5-3570K 3.50Ghz overclocked in msi bios to 4.22Ghz i think its an LGA 1155 socket cpu and I run about 200 fps but I limit my frames to 120 because I have a 120hz monitor

I would say you'll get less than what I got in this video. GPU overclocks dont help in fortnite performance mode, I mean if you overclock the cpu then and play 720p then maybe it will be the same performance. (Thats if your cpu allows for overclocking and if does you want to make sure you have a good cooler)

I can tell you as an owner of a 1050 Ti paired with a 2600X, do not bother with this card. Let it die in peace rofl. That being said, pretty decent for something like Wii U or PS3 emulation in Batocera Linux so it has it's uses. But it is not remotely useable for PC gaming today in 1080p of any kind.

Totally agree with the first part. The RX 580 could turn into literal e-waste in the blink of an eye. However I am not sure what you mean by "creator content" exactly, if you mean video editing or streaming that is not happening with a 6 GB 1060 lol.

No point, Broadwell-EP Xeon's (codename for the V4's) only support Gen 3.0 PCIE. The absolute best card you could run with this CPU is a 2080 Ti and they are going for anywhere between $250-300 which is the entire budget of this build lol. But for a $450'ish build it would be an insane performer lol. Heck I might build one now that I've started thinking about it.

@anestisadam-wo2re No it won't, AM4 4000 series are closer to 3000 series in performance than 5000 series. That's not to say it's a bad CPU though.

@@E-T-M11 if you can get the gtx 1060 for less than $85 that would be a better option. It is slightly better than the rx 580 and I do notice a tiny bit better performance in Fortnite

@@E-T-M11 Also worth noting Nvidia tend to provide driver updates for ridiculous amounts of time. Some of the 900 series cards still technically have support lol. AMD is known to just randomly stop providing driver support without any rhyme, reason, or even notice.

@@Supremedavid328 yep, that's about the going rate. You can even CPU+mobo+ram combos/ kits for $50 or less I just picked one up last week for $27 and it has this exact CPU and 16GB ram.
