thank you so much! I only had to do one tumbler due to my oven messing up my sublimation 🤦♀️ so I did epoxy and do not own a tumbler. this video saved my order.
I tried acrylic pour on a tumbler for the first time this weekend. Was glad to see this video since I don't have a cup turner, but I won't be able to tape off the bottom since it's painted as well. Any suggestions? I assume I just need to scrap this or invest in a turner. Enjoying your videos. Thanks, Kellye
Honestly, It depends on which epoxy you use. Since I made this video, I no longer use Alumilite or FX. I now use Counter Culture DIY's Artist Resin. It is much thicker than Alumilite epoxy. So, you can probably walk away from it much sooner. I also don't hand turn nearly as often now and have not done it with Counter Culture's product. I would just keep a close eye on it on the first few tumblers you do, until you get a feel for how it reacts.
I'm just starting out so I don't have a turner. Do you think I could get a really smooth finish with this method or will I get a textured or rough look o the cup?

That is so awesome! Thank you for sharing that. It definitely made me smile!
Thank you for this video!! It worked perfectly and I didn’t have to go searching for the supplies to make a turner!! ❤️
Great!! You are so welcome!!
Awesome I only have two turners but this will cut down on a lot of my time by being able to apply the first coats sooner
Great!!!!!

Im a beginner trying the glitter epoxy on the tumbler without a turner. Will it feel smooth in the end? Not so crumbly
I did lots of tumblers before turners were around and they came out really smooth. You just can't forget it and let it sit too long before turning it.
Hello! How long do you have to keep flipping it over before you can leave it alone?

LaurelCG it is gonna have a textured look
It wont be textured at all. The cup in the video was first layer of glitter. The final coat will be as smooth as glass
It wont be textured at all. The tumbler I used here is first layer over epoxy. One decal is on and second layer is on, it will be as smooth as glass.
Awesome!!!
No way just get a spinner and stop Being cheap 🥴
