My first time trying hypixel skyblock and the thoughts i had wrapped into this video for all to see

Skyblock is very hard in the beginning but it’s pretty good (only for sweaty ones)

Honestly, if you’re looking for a grindy game… skyblock will take a lot but like a lot of time. Understanding the game will also take a long while but you can ask things you dont know in public chat. Its a fun game to play with friends and also a good one to make some. If you’re not into grindy games or repetitiveness then i wouldn’t really recommend it but its at least worth putting a few hours into if you’re willing to get a taste of it. Hope you’ll enjoy it and maybe you’ll find people who can help you out along your journey
@@Fatal91 yeah, that seems to be everyone's opinion. And I agree. I think that a lot of games even grindy ones can be really entertaining and fun by yourself or with friends. But I think what hypixel Skyblock did for me was give me a more RPG type game where stats and skills are the focal point, but it took away the whole Skyblock experience that Skyblock the name invokes I'm very sure that I would enjoy the game as a grindy stat grind game, but the Skyblock element of it seems to have been tainted down dramatically. Thank you so much for watching and thank you so much for your advice. I definitely plan on giving Skyblock another chance with another 5 to 10 hours and hopefully by then I will have a better understanding of what makes the grind of it enjoyable beyond just seeing higher numbers. theres a lot of fun aspects of the game, especially towards late game, which is the reason you would suffer through the early part, such as high floor dungeons (f7 and m3+), high tier slayers like blaze, voidgloom, or even just grinding revs for a warden heart, kuudra, etc. the expensive weapons like hyp and term let you do hard things, but they cost billions, so that is the 'reason' you are looking for, hope this helps

Those were just my thoughts on the first hour of playing so obviously I didn't take a deep dive into it or anything but for the average player that was what their first hour would be so I was just going off of that. But thanks. When I sink some more hours into it I'll probably make another video saying I was wrong 😂

Yeah , this is actually a problem in skyblock. It happend to me exactly the same. Saw a technoblade video. Logged in to see whats goin on, gettin overwelmed with the amount of new things that i needed to learn, not seeing a point and not toching it for a year. The next time i watched some guides, still not seeing a clear point, but at least i had a progression to follow. Now i started over playin as ironman (because i really wasn't using bazzar or the auction house that much and i enjoyed grinding all the stuff). The reason for why i keep playing is because i like the feeling of getting better and "earn" the gear that i have. Of course like all games is not for everyone, so dont feel bad for not liking it. If you are willing to give another chance, just watch some guides, use the official wiki when there is something you dont understand and abuse the bazzar and auction house as much as possible.

Hypixel skyblock is essentially old school runescape. You choose which skill or set of skills you want to persue. Based off of the curve of the skill youll hit spots where you get the "ah thats it" moments where you feel like youve gotten better at it. You can make your own island and it does serve a purpose. Rather than having a stort they focus on making the skills the focus. Theres a video from a channel named Looni who did a single video on skyblock. I think that would help you out a ton to understand.

And yeah I get the grind is fun for some people but I wish there was some sort of story to go along with the grind. @@Championminecraft Honestly if you want story driven mmo, wynncraft is the one to go with. But honestly i like how fleshed out all the skills are in hypixel respectively rather than them being something nobody does. What good is a story if i cant do the lifeskilling?

@@Championminecraft Honestly hypixel is a game that everyone loves to hate, but i had never seen a perspective like yours, especially someone who had SEEN technoblade. Most people see his video, watch a "how to start hypixel skyblock" and then go from there. I'm not saying it was a exactly enjoyable video but in my head im just going "this is completely understandable and true" and felt the need to at least give you some extra info.

@@Championminecraft if you want i can help you with the basics? Maybe once you understand the purpose you will enjoy it. I can tell you one thing, u said something about the server doing everything for you because of the minions and the islands and everything, but you can not achieve anything in hypixel skyblock without grinding for hundred/thousand of hours :)
I don't know if I'll ever go back to Skyblock. I don't know if it'll ever be worth it to spend that much time in a game that I barely Enjoy but who knows what the future holds and of course I should definitely put at least a couple more hours in without recording to see if it gets any better
I had the same thoughts when i started like a week ago, then i come back for an hour or something, i discovered new mechanics which reminded me some polish rpg server that i used to play when i was younger and a lot od mechanics are similar so i decided to play more and i started to enjoy it but still dont know Why is it called skyblock
I totally agree. I think they should scrap the whole Skyblock aspect of it and just make it a RPG server and give each person a plot of land instead of an island but it's been out for too long for them to change it now. I think that's why they decided they're going to make hytale the game because they realized they were making an RPG, not a Skyblock 😂 thanks for watching the video and I'm sure it's a great game. Just not the Skyblock that I enjoy. I'll probably return to it eventually
I had good moments en wizards (it’s a TNT mini games in hypixel) but it’s not that decent and lobby’s are slowly filling
The problem with hypixel is that it’s obviously full of sweaty players and duels are really bad as video content. I guess thats
Bedwars is the only good mini game of hypixel in content making.
So you talked about RPG games, I don’t know if u want to stay on hypixel but you could play mods and modpacks or vanilla Minecraft (on hardcore solo or an SMP with your friends)

Well I definitely think I want to Branch out for sure I have a few video ideas I want to work on but the next video is most likely probably going to be some more hypixel content with Seth we'll see I'll definitely have to check out that game and thanks for being so supportive
How did you get your clouds and game to look so beautiful?
@@RikiBobbi it's a shader pack. Called complimentary unbound if you download the modrinth app you can download a performance mod pack called performium and they have the ability on there to download shaders and you just look up complimentary unbound or complementary reimagined 👍😎 there's also a ton of other mod packs that you can add shaders with

Hypixel Skyblock isnt really Skyblock, its an MMO like OSRS with an Island theme. Your island is completely useless other then minions or storage, you spend 99% of your time outside of it grinding things like combat xp, farming xp, mining xp ect.
Your still in the very, very early stages of the game and have not even been to all of the tutorial islands yet like the Park, Mushroom Islands etc.
Most experienced players on a new profile will get an efficiency 2 gold shovel and go to the mushroom islands, mine some sand for mining xp to unlock the dwarven mines, and kill ice walkers for early game equipment/coins for example.

@@Championminecraftmy friend is a tryhard and we did a coop account. The next day I logged on and we had already millions so he bought me a good armor, I got scammed on the sixth day of this new account so I begged for money saying I lost my good armor. However nobody believed me bc I m not supposed to have one on the sixth day so I lost 20m coins being scammed. 😢

@@Championminecraftits literally an mmo-style Minecraft. It's that simple tbh. You have skills, levels, multi-player, dungeons, missions, a marketsystem, achievements..and MC of course. It still lacks a proper on-boarding experience
these videos just make you feel annoying, like youre playing something you clearly dont know enough about and talking about it like its something that its not. the technoblade video literally starts saying how skyblock is just wynncraft.
Hey sorry man if it makes you annoyed those were just my thoughts on my first hour and a half of playing Skyblock on the hypixel server I've played Skyblock before but in a more vanilla way without the whole extra server aspect on top of it. I was excited to try out the more stat grind / RPG style Skyblock but I didn't realize that it would be getting rid of the whole aspect of Skyblock in the first place where resource management is key and discovering how to obtain certain items and expanding your Island is the goal thanks for watching if you have any tips on how to improve my content or any video ideas I would love to hear from you and if you want me to try something in Skyblock I will totally do that as well
