Omg, the end of this song... I want to see Sci-fi movies after hearing that, like Alien or something like that. Also reminds me really really good moments on this game when I was kid.
I remember hearing this song when I was a kid playing the original Protoss missions on the N64 in my parents kitchen. It was night for me and I was on the twilight map. I remember fighting the zerg on Shikiras. It was such a hard level as a kid.
@@grid5965 Yes there is StarCraft on N64. It's a nice game really. You can select more than 12 units and there are gamemodes like allied melee where two players control one base. I always played that mode with my brothers. Ah good memories.
@@jann326 The controls are pretty easy and you can select more than 12 units for a control group. My only complaint was how difficult it was to build a refinery/gas building because of the sensitive N64 controller but you could always turn that down.
4:19 onward just reminds me of Dune, Bladerunner or some sci fi epic of the 80s the crescendo and intensity of the music, is so powerful that anytime I heard it while playing I had to bask in the glory of this theme I was hearing.
@@jamespaguip5913 Id argue it took more influence from Starship troopers. The Protoss are pretty similar to the Skinnies in the book and the Overmind seems more reminiscent of the Brain Bug as well.
