"The Saints Are Coming" é um single da banda escocesa The Skids, do álbum Scared to Dance, em 1978.
Em 2006, foi gravado um cover da canção, em parceria pelas bandas Green Day e U2, em prol às vítimas do Furacão Katrina, que em agosto de 2005, devastou New Orleans[1].
A venda do single na versão de estúdio teve 100% da renda revertida para a compra de instrumentos novos para os músicos que os perderam na passagem do Katrina. O single ganhou um Grammy de "Melhor Performance Rock por um Duo ou Grupo".

Greatest Night of my Life as a Saints Fan prior to Winning Super Bowl. It was a rebirth of our City and Rebirth of our Saints! I remember jumping up and down screaming at top of my lungs and it was so loud I could not hear myself scream !!! The loudest ever in that dome that day that moment!
To this day whenever they play that song in the dome instantly brings everyone back to that moment that day !! Rebirth! Geauuxxx Saints !!

I tuned into this expecting a football game. Got the greatest live performance ever. And that's saying something, since U2 is the band that did the Superbowl show after 9/11, and it was really insanely good.

I barely remember Katrina. Watched it on the news with my dad when he said it was going to hit that night. Didn't really understand it until a few days later when the full scale of the destruction was visible.

i did not go through Hurricane Dorian but i do have family that went though it and this song hit differnt i know it a differnt stroms and differnt things however i remember going to work just north of nassau. whatching the aircaftre going to pick up people. hit hard to tell people waht that feels like not knowing if your family is no that air cratft or not not hearing from them. thankfully my famly lived but image trying to please people while you dont know if your family is dead or alive. guest asking why you keep looking up and missing photos that is all i can think of listening to song
