HGTV definitely needs a new affordable DIY show. Right now it's all house flipping shows and frankly they are overdone. Drew would be fabulous for HGTV. 😊
I liked this. As a straight guy I can still use these. It's hard finding DIY decor ideas for a straight guy without needing a bunch of tools and materials. So thanks.
My cousin also made her own crate table but she put a clear vinyl sheet on top, the type that is used as a glass sheet in big frames. They are usually made out of plastic because glass would be too heavy to hang up.
I made the coffee table and 2 matching side tables! Even added lighting to the tables to highlight the displays inside. Absolutely love them! Thank you for the inspiration!!
My friend and I just moved to LA and we always talk about how we wish we could just have you with us while decorating our new place lol. Great video as usual boo! ❤️
For that table I would want the middle hole to be a secret storage compartment! I would cut a hole in the middle of the bottom board and make a hinged door in the middle to access the center space, (and cover the walls of that inside compartment with thin wood so that you can't see into it from the back of the crates) . Ooh you should do a video on making things with hidden compartments! Like even that concrete plant holder could have a hollow compartment in the middle too. Tape an empty toilet paper tube to the bottom of your mold, tape across the top of the tube so that no concrete goes into the tube. You'd access the hollow space from the bottom, maybe glue a piece of thick felt on the bottom to protect your table from the rough concrete and it will cover the secret compartment.
Each of your DIY's are so easy to follow and so adaptable! Thank you for all the inspiration and time you put into your videos. I've tried so many and they all look great!
I love the beginning of this video!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas, projects, an especially your honesty!!!! I know I have felt off since quarantine began, and it is good to see a real person being authentic!
I rarely comment but I just wanted to express how excited your videos make me! I've been stuck in a terrible depressive episode for a while now and have been struggling for many many years, and last week I discovered your channel and I've watched all of your videos by now and they made me really happy and inspired to try some new things! :) I actually got out of my house and bought some crafting supplies and made a few small diy's. Thank you so much, your diy videos are literally my favourite, I love every single thing you make!! :) Lots of love from Germany, Janina
I hope you are doing well. ♥️ I just discovered his channel and today I bought some yarns and stuff. I'm hoping it will help my anxiety. If I make things that actually turn out cute that's just a bonus!
When you showed the finished coffee table I kept wondering about the LED strips that you added, then I figured it it was just the light coming through the slats in the crate. Overcomplicating things over here. Everything looked great. Loved the moon. ❤️
@@lonefox Not the topic here, and probably you know already. But just to make sure: You can cut metal (sheets, bars etc.) with a hack saw /metal saw. It's a handtool with very tiny tooths and basically works like a fretsaw. ♡💖♡ Love you & your channel.
I made that coffee table about two years ago now, cut a big piece for the bottom like you and added wheels. For the top so things didn't slide through I added pieces of wood to each crate under the tops so I could keep the middle of it open for more storage!!
Omg!! I love your videos and I have a suggestion! What if us followers sent you items to DIY with? I think that would be so cool! Sending you items that you could create a DIY out of and seeing your creativity run wild. 😊❤️
I am obsessed with your videos now... I watch your videos even while working from home... Definitely I am gonna try some of your DIY and will share it with you.
I love the table. I think you could go one further with it and cut a hole in the bottom to get some sort of light into the centre. The wood could jigsaw back into place with a catch or something. LED's are so bright now you could use a battery-operated one to avoid a power cable. Imagine a warm white glow :D.
I am moving soon, and I am in need of a coffee table with storage. I saw this before but never thought about adding legs... now I have to recreate this coffee table! so excited
Beautiful work. Loved the table especially! Had to laugh as I binged your channel. You are “obsessed” nearly every episode. Love how passionate you are about sharing your creative eye and ideas! Especially helpful during this pandemic, where we can use some ideas to freshen up our diggs. 😊
Good job on the coffee table, those pin legs that come in a ton of lengths are so useful! I've even found live edge cutting boards @ home goods and added legs to create a side table which might be a nice DIY?!
love the coffee table! to add even more reinforcement for the bottom i'd glue the whole thing before screwing the legs in. also a glass top would be another great way to switch up the table if you wanted to create a little storage/styling moment in the center xx
Ughhhhh! The table is amazing. It’s nice to have you back. Wish you the best for this new year, and may you accomplish whatever your heart desires. As always, great DYI ideas, thanks 😊
I made a table like this a couple of years ago! I still use it today, but yours looks so much neater! I think it might be because I had to sand mine down because they were all scrappy (must be a different type of wood) and weren't all exactly the same size. I left mine open, and painted it white.
I’m going to do the moon, but after I prime it I’ll use some hammered-metal paint I have from another project. I think when I do the air plant holders, I’m going to glue a wooden letter to the inside of the mold to make a recessed monogram. These are fantastic! 😍
Love the way your projects turned out, especially the coffee table. I made it a couple years ago and didn't put a piece of plywood on and ended up hating it! Things would fall through the slates all the time. I need a new coffee table now, maybe I'll make it again.
Well done again Drew, loved all the projects. For those people doing the moon project and you want to put it in a wet area, make sure you seal the back
I think you're awesome. I like your flair and unique design style. I was a fan as soon as I watched your video. Keep up the amazing work. Luv, luv, luv the table.
You are my favorite DIY RUclipsr! Thank you for always creating amazing original and quality diys and great content!! So thankful I found your channel!!
Really out here considering makin that table even tho I’ve never made anything like that hahaha it’s soo cool and seems easy???
Yes! It was very easy :)
Kindly the measurements of the table, length, width and height
i'm late but i did this a few year ago just a little bit different. the hardest part was sanding and staining it, putting it together was super easy!!
Drew It Yourself oh my GOD
Netflix needs Drew. Loved this so much.
Delana Scott HGTV.

To achieve a hammered silver finish, crinkle heavy duty aluminum foil than flatten with a rolling pin, mod podge onto cardboard.
You could also use hammered finish silver spray paint:)
Thank you!!
Do a collab with thesorrygirls

I liked this. As a straight guy I can still use these. It's hard finding DIY decor ideas for a straight guy without needing a bunch of tools and materials. So thanks.
That table is my mission! ❤️
My cousin also made her own crate table but she put a clear vinyl sheet on top, the type that is used as a glass sheet in big frames. They are usually made out of plastic because glass would be too heavy to hang up.
You could use an orange juice carton or almond milk carton as a mold.
I was thinking that since I saw the inspo pic

now this is what i consider actual diy, so easy and cheap. the end result looks just as good as the original, sometimes better.
For the table you can put clear polyurethane on to avoid water marks
I feel like a little light or something in the middle would give it such a nice vibe in a dark room
Each of your DIY's are so easy to follow and so adaptable! Thank you for all the inspiration and time you put into your videos. I've tried so many and they all look great!
Aw TY, glad you enjoyed!! 💖💖
I love the way you specify exactly what is used.... 14 inch chain.. etc.
I loved watching this video. I was hoping it never ended. It was soothing & calming. Completely fell in love with the wooden crate table. 💖
Im imagining how awesome that moon would look on a larger scale!
It would be pretty in gold too.
I love the beginning of this video!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas, projects, an especially your honesty!!!! I know I have felt off since quarantine began, and it is good to see a real person being authentic!
Watching this is September of 2020... Couldn't help but giggle when he says he's excited for 2020 😬😬😬
I am so excited to kick off 2019 -
Drew 2020
Love that your DIYs are all very achievable and that you use basic supplies/tools/methods most people have or can get! So good! ❤️

Drew’s face when he said DUI and then added “I think not!”
He is so cute, I love him.
