    First heard this sung by my darling sister Breige about 1978/she died sunday 19th dec. last.Mickey Joe/draperstown/St.columb's Derry.

    I first heard this song sang by a bloke called Frank O'Farrell who was a 'One Man Band" who played around the pubs of Tooting, Clapham and Battersea late '70s/early '80s. He was such a talent. This version reminds me so much of him. RIP Frank.

    Some craic back in the days spent a small fortune going to oxygen to see the saw doctors bouncy your woman from America made me choke on a hamburger so plastic shite no craic boring can’t see why people turn up to listen to exactly the same contrived notes night after night
