I rescued a 9 month old pittie 6 weeks ago. He's an absolute doll. Loves people, especially kids, loves other dogs, and even loved my cat until she left us today... she was 20.

What a sweetie! He adores you both! So lovely to see a pet that is pampered and loved instead of hurt, hungry, abandoned. Wonderful! He is a big baby, but if someone tried to hurt either of you, there would instantly be another side of him that would be very menacing. Rescued dogs are very grateful to their owners, and very protective of them. Good job!!

Every dog deserves to be loved and cared for like this guy. I have a Red nose and she is the sweetest dog. Pitts don't deserve the bad rap they get.

Bananaskin101 IKR!! I think it has to do with people forcing dog fights which is completely evil
beep beep lettuce which I have a feeling the music industry, video game industry & Hollywood are to blame. Because every time I visit my grandma in Milano Italy there are tons of INTACT pit bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans etc .. all playing gleefully in the dog parks. Just google the new rappers and watch some of their videos..all trying to force fit the dogs. And a lot of video games have dogs where u can shot them. And with the poverty levels in the USA, these kids grow up watching their uncle etc dog fight and get money. It’s vicious ignorance brought to us by social engineering

Yay chief! I also have a pit rescue and he does the same woo-woo story telling and wiggle butt lol I've found the most dangerous thing about a pit is his very happy tail as he wags it constantly
truly Pities are one of the most gentle , goofy, loving and loyal dogs you can have. Just give them a little love and you get it back 10 fold from this goofy breed. Its such a farce that they are "bad" dogs,, nothing could be farther from the truth. If you want a great family dog or just a very loving dog,, Pitt Bull is the one for you.. Even the ones that come out of "dog fighting" situations, many are just so grateful to be rescued from it that are even more loving. I wish I had gotten to know this breed earlier in life ,, I would have had more of them. I love my Pittie!
