- One of the most beloved Flash series of all time, Henry Stickmin! I thought it would be fun to peel back the layers of this series, in anticipation of Completing the Mission, and the full remastered series in the upcoming Henry Stickmin Collection.

The Henry Stickmin Collection (which will include all th remasters) just had it's released date set for August 7th!
That is in less than 2 months!! Honestly, with the amount of time it would take me to cover the originals, only to revisit it immediately after for the remasters, I am choosing to hold off on further installments of this secrets series until the full thing is released. Those new versions will only add, never subtract jokes/content. It would be pretty needlessly repetitious to cover it twice.

The Hello Neighbor games have always seemed interesting. They aren't really the kind of game I would normally play, but exploring the story and secrets of them looks super fun! It's definitely on my list ;)

3:40 is kinda like the star warp from fleeing the complex
The warp star is a reference to the Kirby series, when Kirby equips this item, he movses to the next section of the level killing every enemy in sight

The prospect of Henry’s origin, Drawed, really makes me think of the old book, Harold & the Purple Crayon. Maybe Puffballs had inspiration?

Looking forward to a full reference review of the other Henry Stickman games as well. Dissecting these jokes and references helps me see just how much love and attention went into this series. And the collection is well worth the price.

There is a scene similar to the jetpack fail in completing the mission, but instead of a fail its an option selection scene, but it is interrupted by mecha right hand man guy and gives you a new set of options. of course this video is before that game released, so...

In the air ship you get a complete screen then a fail screen that’s the closest to the 2 fail thing
honestly, the ace atourney bits where you mention the bag and the prosecutor, are most likely both still refrences to the game, phoenix is known for bluffing his way through the trials in the series, and the first trial prosecutor in every game (usually a balding character named Winston Payne but the stick prosecutor doesnt share his likeness) is incredibly cocky until you start to find condradictions in the witness' testimony, much like how the unnamed stick prosecutor acts with his whole two lines of dialouge
also, unrelated but the ace atourney localization has a metric ton of puns, pretty much almost every character's name is a pun of some kind

Manfred Von Karma from the ace attorney series, but with a beard, its probably just an orignal character made to be a stereotypical ace attorney prosecutor.
Actually, Rupert Price who is the officer who talks to Henry in the intro along with Dave Panpa, Has black hair so Phoenix is not the first and only stick character from the series to have black hair
7:40 OBJECTION! in the opening cutscene you one of the guards can be clearly seen with black hair! The hair is partially hidden by the hat but it can be seen

I have been watching a few of your videos and one suggestion I have is for you to put more chill music in your videos. I feel like when you have these long 15-30 min videos, the music can start to get a bit annoying after a while. Either way, love the videos
I was curious what people would think in this video specifically. I try to aim for a more relaxed "soundtrack". But whenever I talk about games, I do my best to only use music from those game's OSTs. It's tough in the Stickmin series, since everything is very action-based. For the followups, I'll seek out music with a more video-appropriate vibe :)

You forgot about the teleport machine. It’s a reference to the first game, Crossing The Pit, the teleport is one of the items in the game and looks similar to the ones in Stealing the diamond and Prison escape and why would someone forget 𝑇𝐻𝐴𝑇?! Edit: it’s also in Completing The Mission where the game is completely remade..... just.. different.. your able to...win

While I could see the appeal, so much HAD to be changed, especially a lot of the copyright material.
Which means the only way to play the *true* originals would still be online, on sites like StickPage and Newgrounds. And if that was always going to be needed for the authentic "original" experience, then cutting it from the remaster altogether makes total sense.
