I had the privilege of going to his concert yesterday in León, Guanajuato and seeing him perform Schubert and Brahms, it was from another world. This Rachmaninoff piece only accentuated my admiration for John Henry and my eternal gratitude for not letting good music die. It would be a dream to see him perform Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, he is my favorite composer and I know that John would transmit 10,000% what Chopin wanted to express with his work ❤.
The cello's always been one of my favorite instruments, both for its timbre and range -- this was an outstanding performance showing both of these off in full display. Seriously impressive work man, you should be proud!

Talk about nostalgia. This is how Russian composers and superb and a superb cellist can bring us all to tears.
Astounding beyond words. Thank you for sharing John-Henry.
Thank you for the kind words Eli!
