Great shot of 'Big Bad Vlad' (haha) in his younger days, when he was the Rock Star of Chess, sportin' the Jimmy Page hairdo while puffing on dank spliff.
Sure. Vlad did have his moments. He's the father of that nasty Berlin Wall. But I now believe he developed that with the help of engines. It totally explains his behavior now.
Good Game I’m kind of surprised for some reason expecting Kramlik to Blunder but no even though a draw not a bad game overall by him I thought they both played well Thanks for the Game James
The evaluation bar is an engine evaluation. This endgame is anything but easy. And both players were under 20s so no one can blame Kramnik for not winning this.
The great thing about this is that GMs never forget a game. And, given that Kramnik is such a sore loser, this draw will still be haunting him today. No wonder he tried to convince everyone that Hikaru's winning streak was "interesting". No doubt he found that "incredible", like this draw. He clearly doesn't rate Hikaru and doesn't mind showing it in the most dismissive, arrogant ways possible.
The best move is to switch up your generic comment. But can he find it? Of course he can - they don't call him the GOAT because of his horns and magnificent beard.
At 7:48, James mimics Kramnik when he played Nf6+. It didn't happened like that actually. At best Kramnik scratched his head just before moving his Knight . And, stangely enough, exactly at 7:48 in this video ruclips.net/video/0QtMXKIpwY8/видео.html
@@epicchess2021 Yes, I know, but not simply playful. Actually you were quite right to point this out. We know Kramnik for trying these kind of tricks from time to time. (Especially in a hopeless situation... :) I.m so happy Hikaru got his 2800 this weekend. Well diserved. Good job James!
I'd be nice if you could comment more on the eval bar changes - like at the end it's still showing advantage for white and no idea why (guess the pony can block)
"We do procedure, ya?" - Mad Vlad
"Ne1 for a chess maneuver" took me a minute but was well worth it 😂
Haha
🤣
Honestly just found this channel a couple weeks ago, def my favorite, keep it up homie
Oh cool thanks a lot appreciate it!
'what a noob!'🤣
“Ne1… Love a good notation joke… full on nerdin’ out…” You’re hysterical, James! Keep it up!
🤣
This was like watching the origin story for Kramnik's current arc....
Totally. "Episode 4: The Beginning of a Beef".
So true
"What a noob!" 😂😂😂
"Former world champ..."
- moments before

"A full piece peaceful result!"😊😅😂🎉❤
Even although he messed it up this shows some of the quality Big Vlad had at his best. Thanks James.

Hahaha hahaha the procedure!!

This channel is Epic Cheese. 🧀

Hikaru staggers up the board slightly 😂
the procedure OTB? LOL
😂
Kramnik: 😢
He could quit, but I believe it is a Soviet thing.
I always liked "grim in the rim" instead of dim. Maybe I just heard it wrong the first time!
Enjoyable.
And then Kramnik filed a cheating report
1:44 “Grandmaster Lee Chess” Who is Grandmaster Lee? I thought Bruce only did Kungfu?
On the back & forth for the draw, when the white king goes to g1 and the queen comes down to e1 for the next check, why does white not play f1?
6:04 How is it possible that playing the best move, the bar skies rocket for white?
The best move is to switch up your generic comment. But can he find it? Of course he can - they don't call him the GOAT because of his horns and magnificent beard.
Haha. Thanks for that ending Epic. Naka deserves the 'procedure' for using the beads.
Interesting

oh yeah 100% was only playing, I do that a bit! Never meant to genuinely mislead but just be a bit playful!

Sorry will do in future! Then I think c pawn gets too dangerous forgot to say that
not a perpetual -- Nf1
I think you lose than the c pawn can be pushed
Oh should have mentioned sorry!
Hhhhhh😂, the procedure
Am I the only one who is surprised when both GMs actually castle?
I guess yeah you are the only one
Hyper Pumper!?, Ok Im first on record to say hes cheating and on steroids!
