I checked out the DVLA for that beige Capri PPO774M and it comes back that it was a Dec 1973 registered car with the 1.6 engine, but was last taxed in July 1989, so it has sat there in that field for 30 years. 30 years. I'm amazed it is still in the condition that it was, considering it has been abandoned for close on a third of a century. Poor old cars, such a shame, forgotten, unloved, and being taken back by nature.
the state of that Trans Am brought tears to my eyes. I own an '81 Black and gold SE with T tops and 350 sbc powered. domed forged pistons, ported heads, 350hp/327 cam.
The old 2dr Cherokee is an AMC model (pre Chysler), with AC's straight 6 or v8 engine and the world famous Quadratrac transfer box, which opposed to traditional transfer boxes which had gears in them, it was chain drive. It looked RHD, which would mean it was a "factory RHD conversion" for the UK market, so quite rare in itself. The steering box, brakve servo/master cylinder and throttle cable were still all on the left, but with the pedals, steering wheel/column and gear shift on the right. The conversion was by FF (who developed the Jenson Interceptor FF 4wd), it comprised rods from the throttle and brake pedal to the servo and cable linage and again, a chain connecting the steering column to steering box, hidden within a box the width of the bulkhead. My factory RHD 2dr AMC Cherokee, had the AMC 360ci v8, 3 spd auto and Quadratrac transfer box, with Dana 44 axles

Just come across this video, yes the x trac bodied mk 2 escort my favourite as I'm a Ford fan. However the CSK Range Rover was a rare (&expensive) run out model, built to special order, as the RR was 5 door only. CSK are the initials of the designer of the RR Charles Spencer King, or known in Rover /BL/etc circles as Spen King. He was a famous British car designer, I might be wrong but I think he also designed the Rover SD1. On the last bit near the Capri mk1 in green, there was also a late, rare RR LW (long wheelbase) with air susp. Land Rover experts will know more. All the cars very interesting, good video soz I'm a year late!
I bet a lot of those that are beyond economically saving but the glass would still be worth saving as i cant imagine getting 3 door Range Rover glass is hard to come by and not cheap .
The second 'sciroco' you found is actually an Audi 100 coupe. Lots of pennies too although not as much as the RS2000! You should find the owner and give him a slap!
