- TWO giant bullies are vying for the top spot at one of Mississippi’s most prestigious pit bull breeding businesses. Renee Castleman made the news in 2018 with her family-run breeding business GatorHead Bullies - home to the 120-pound pit bull Buster. Now, 130-pound Chop is proving to be a hit with Renee’s high-end clients - including NBA and NFL stars who are wowed by Chop’s bulk and unique, tri-colour ‘merle’ coat. Renee told Barcroft Studios: “Chop is one of the upcoming biggest dogs on our yard. Of course, Buster is always going to be one of our favorites, but right now Chop is what people are wanting."

Even for a better hygiene both of those things does work, specially if theire owners arent the type that does regular basis cleaning of them dogs. But by professional is safe, the problem is that at many places, my country included, its illegal what makes people who likes them aesthetics go to unprofessional methods that increases the changes of complication to the poor dogs.

It's kind of funny that they're standard doesn't have a standard since the two dogs don't even have the same facial or bone structure one probably has Catahoula or great Dane in there somewhere and the other one has more of a bandog look
All breeds have slight variations but bully’s tend to have more because there a new breed lol do you expect them to make a new breed with only pure breeds obviously they are mixed that’s how it works 😂

None of you two know what you’re talking about 😂 Bully breeds are prone to getting ear infections etc so cropping them is actually better for health half of the time. Our American Bully doesn’t have cropped ears because we didn’t get him till he was 10 months which is too old to get them cropped without it causing a lot of pain.

@@NannupTiger its part of the breed standard. Makes the dog look cleaner and more alert I like the look when done properly but in this case it was poorly done and looks horrible.

You should see what horses go for. You're young... so I wouldn't expect you to know how money is spent to take care of, house, treat, train and breed these dogs... not to mention the obvious labor.

I have an American Bully!! A lot of people get them confused with American Bulldogs but they are two completely different dogs. People paid so much on him but didn’t like him☹️ We love him so much he’s got the shortness for sure 😂 With also the broad chest. A special feature of mine (Pumba) is he screams when he gets excited 😆 Everyone gets scared because of it when all he wants to do is play. He also snores SO CLOUD!! It’s so annoying cause half the time I can’t sleep 😂 He doesn’t have his ears cropped cause we didn’t get him till 10 months and we didn’t want to crop them since he was already too old to get them cropped without it causing too much pain.

The fact that they breed just to breed, not to better the breed or do sport, work or obedience tells me a lot. The fact that they sell their pups at 7 weeks tells me the rest. Just because their dogs are healthy or "taken care of" doesn't mean they should be breeding. I wish people did more research on breeding so they didn't think it was ok to spend $4k+ on a backyard bred dog.

You can not pick up a puppy from them until 10 weeks. It was an amazing experience purchasing from GHB and our sweet little boy is the best behaved puppy we've ever had! They do breed for temperament and health. Of all the kennels I've ever seen, this was by far the most impressive and cleanest!
@@catherineechevarria8972 Taking care of your dogs to keep them healthy and keeping a clean kennel is NOT the same as health testing. If you read her puppy contract, it says other breeders are not health testing their bullies either…. Just because others aren’t doesn’t make it right. All these XL bully breeders are not health testing them because they know it will say on paper that the dogs are a genetic mess. I have no doubt that these dogs are well cared for with great temperaments but genetics are a thing and they’re very important. They clearly care about the dogs enough that they do certain things right. Having a contract, application process, etc. but that doesn’t make up for the wrong things. I bet your pup from them is beautiful and loving, it doesn’t mean they were bred properly to better the breed. They were bred for temperament and esthetics.

DNA as in the mother and father the genes the dog carries in their blood/DNA and these dogs are bred to be muscular and we'll built and are also trained to be protection dogs and the $$ doesn't always depend on the dogs colour sometimes if they sell a dog to someone, the person they sold it to has a choice of a protection dog or just a pet and if they want a protection dog the seller will charge more because they are training the dog for the buyer ( hopefully that makes sense)

Duke was an akita- rottweiler mix. He was so unruly, his owners were afraid of him. If I didn't take him, his next ordeal was to be put down. Very aggressive, and high energy.
Big and powerful. We got along famously. Where ever I went, Duke's big fat head was under my left hand.
He was two when I adopted him, and sixteen when he gave up the ghost. RIP Duke.
What a great business for the kids to grow up with.

Yes the price is high, but these are pups from the highest quality of pits. Big or small, bulky or lean what you want is it there. People who spend money on these dogs truly include them as their own family.
Problem is they don't guarantee your puppy will be 130 pounds if they did it would be worth it. My last puppy his dad was a monster 120 pounds champion blood line but my dog only reached 100 pounds. But he was gorgeous paid 1000 dollars for him

It's still a flaw, because it doesn't exist in bully breeds. Merle is a good indicator that some crossbreeding was done to get that gene in the lines.
Only bybs and puppy millers produce merle in breeds that aren't supposed to be merle

My 650$ apbt looked exactly like that white and fawn one when he was 3 . Why you try selling dogs for multiple thousands? Does it have any protection training or can it fly or what am I missing that makes it so expensive?

I have this new puppy (pitbull) he has a brown and blue eye and has a briddle patch btw a good dog food brand is diamond it's good for the dog (question if he has that two different color eye won't his puppy's get that please answer)
heterochromia (2 diff color eyes) doesn't always pass down from parents to pups. However if both parents have the condition, then possibility of passing the genetic mutation is way higher

@Kevin Kirby None of 4 have cropped ears and 3 have never had infections. My American bulldog does because she has skin allergies since they dad the rescue people picked her up from Miami Dade slaughter house. But her ears have only been infected 2 in the 5yrs I've had her.

If you're breeding your animal you need to be very picky with their personality not just because you like their looks. It looks like a shitty life for the dogs another shelter to me but they're adding to it. *Puppy mill.*
They're not perfectional breeders, breeders who take great responsibility in breeding their dogs, caring for them, *training them* , genetic test, etc. Are good breeders. Throwing dogs in fields and crates barely giving training or care/attention like a dog should is not a good breeder but a shitty one.

Wow. They’re keeping their dogs in cages and it looks like an animal shelter or a puppy mill in there. The females look overbred too. That isn’t a good life for a dog. A good breeder would keep the adult dogs and raise all the puppies inside the home. And they cropped the dogs ears. I don’t support ear cropping for any breed of dog but if you’re going to do it, make their ears look nice at the very least. The dogs ears are almost completely cut off; they’re so short! With how short the ears are, it looks like they did it themselves. A professional wouldn’t make it look THAT bad!
