No, it's like asking a Desert Eagle gun manufacturer if Desert Eagles should be banned. You're right that of course they're going to say no, however, the reason for correcting your analogy is because even if you banned Desert Eagles people could still buy Colt 45s, 38s, 22s... Bans don't work as the problem of bad owners, both those with bad intent and those who can't/haven't trained/treat their dogs properly. The solution is: Register owners (license powerful dog owners) and make owners liable not only for out of control dangerous dogs but also the damage that dog does (eg murder/manslaughter) License breeders (make them liable for poorly trained dogs, ie make them liable for dangerously out of control dogs to ensure continued care and training for owners from professional breeders - too many owners don't know how to train/treat their dogs) Establish a DNA register
Should we ban charities then? Because why would a charity want to solve the very issue it gets money to solve?? by your logic, we should ban charities, and non-profits. If you ask a priest if we should ban religion, don't be all to surprised when he says no, if you ask an atheist, don't be surprised when he says yes, that's the point of having an intelligent debate, you look at something from both sides before coming to a conclusion
@@jokersweet absolutely! The most recent studies show neutering and spaying create more problems than they solve, including fear based aggression. It's utter madness. Register owners License breeders Establish a DNA register
@@Scubadooperno, unfortunately. I lived in both many years, felt much safer in the US where anyone "might" be armed, so strangers don't mess with strangers just in case. Parts of London, Durham, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Belfast are magnets for evil assailants.....in the US I can just blow evil freaks away instead of hoping they don't kll me, like the UK legal injustice system advises. Maybe that is why no random stranger has messed with me in the US, like has happened in UK and New Zealand many times. This is not to say there are not different problems in the US, mostly caused by govt, like in Shitain, and every other country.
Not sure a gun would help in an attack from one of these breeds. It took 7 shots to kill the dog that had killed, and stood over the body of 10 year old Jack Liss. I should imagine its similar to trying to defend yourself from a Grizzly bear, and as difficult to kill.
You're right, that is horrific. That's why it's so important to crack down on that type of owner. Banning XL Bullies fails to address the problem, as the reason dangerous dogs are dangerous is because of the owner; ban XL Bullies and those owners will just get a Cane Corso, or Rottweiler, or...
@@ScubadooperFair point. I owned a female Rottweiler and she was very well behaved with an excellent temperament, but I accept in the wrong hands with a bad owner she could be a very dangerous animal. We need a clampdown on bad owners and more regulations. Trouble is too many dangerous people own dangerous animals for one sole purpose, to look tough and to intimidate people. Something definitely needs to be done, because we are seeing an increase in dog attacks and it’s giving responsible owners a bad name.
@@MrMelGazaBlitzGangUkWell no it isn’t. Some dogs are bigger and more powerful than others, some dogs are bred differently and some dog owners are irresponsible and shouldn’t be allowed to own dogs. If a child is attacked by a dog, it has a far greater chance of surviving against a Jack Russell or Spaniel than they would a German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Bull Terrier, Akita or XL Bully ffs 🤦🏽♂️. I say that as a former owner of a Rottweiler by the way.
This video is very different in 'tone' to their Facebook page. This makes the whole operation seem wholesome and family orientated. Their Facebook page markets the dogs to look hard, like status accessories for gangs, mobsters and hitmen.
@MikeD504303 and just because athletes and celebrities buy their dogs that's any different? There are plenty of athletes and celebrities that shouldn't own dogs, you don't think any of them wouldn't train their dog to be aggressive? Just because they're who they are makes no difference. I'm mean look at that horrible pos Michael Vick. Remember what he did to his poor dogs? Doesn't matter who you are there's always going to be ignorant stupid owners
we had a 80+ lbs French Mastiff he was gentle with the family but he once dreagged me as I walked him when he went after another smaller dog. I was terrified even thou I was able to gain control of him that was it for me, after he died I told my husband No More big aggressive dogs we now have a Dashhund.
They're the number one breed that will be first to bite a child's face off. I'd never let those little dogs around any young children, unless you're vigilant and keep the absolute closest eye on your dog and children. I watched one of those dogs attack a child, it's not the size of the dog. Every dog has teeth and any dog can bite, I've helped rescue and foster Littles. They were so much more aggressive than my 110 pound XL Bully. And she's not aggressive is any sense. I'd never own a little dog, may be easier to walk and handle but be careful around the kids
@@mpg314 What you mean for me?.. every human on earth is going to find it easier.. I just loved the guys logic that they are all dangerous. Like stopping a mastiff is just as easy as a cocker spaniel. Yea like that's the same thing xD If you left a child with a fkinf cat it can be dangerous but a adult can stop it. You ain't stopping a mastiff unless you built like a tank.
Your inability to properly train and care for your dog has absolutely nothing to do with big dogs and you clearly know nothing about dogs because French mastiffs are working dogs that were literally bred for war hunting and protection you can have a dog like that and just take it for a a couple light walks it needs proper training and stimulation to accommodate its needs which is why you have decided to use the word aggressive it wasn’t aggressive it was a working line dog with nowhere to put its energy
It was sad that a man who went on the XlBully protest was himself attacked by one 3 days later! Everyone says ‘my XL wouldn’t do that’ ‘He is loving and safe’ and they end up killing somebody. They have all insisted. ‘I know my dog’.
Raising dogs in a luxury complex with all the bells and whistles compared to someone raising one in a terraced home or on a council flat is a night a day difference. People become depressed, the same thing happens to animals.
Obviously not every bully In America is in a mansion you ignorant cuck and you still don’t hear about attacks or deaths in America. It’s the UK not the breed.
I agree, medium to large breed dogs need space and exercise. No problem keeping a dog in an average size house as long as the owners commit to giving their dog adequate exercise and training.
That's just an argument to register/license owners (I would also argue license breeders and have a DNA register) not to ban XL Bullies. Ban them and those bad owners will just get a Cane Corso, or Rottweiler, or...
Then that's a problem with the owner and not the dog. Why would u adopt a child if u didn't have the proper structure. You wouldn't be able too. So it's not the dog it's the owner
Dumb answer . Do you think people in poverty can afford them? .no. .also do you think people don't walk them living in a high rise ? You snob for thinking that
He can barely breathe. That is not a good looking dog. Throw a bunch of breeds together and get a strange looking and agro dog. Also, there's a certain vibe to the breeders and ppl who own these dogs.
there is 0 justification for breeding this dog, they are flooding the shelters as is, stop making more of them. also cropping their ears are unnecessary
And people don't seem to realise that the dog has it's ears cropped which is a barbaric procedure, and some people crop the ears themselves leading to health problems because the ears have been mutilated. This woman is not a responsible dog owner or she wouldn't have got a dog with cropped ears. They prefer cropped ears because it makes the dog appear more intimidating, and fierce. That's the only reason its done. The XL Bully should have normal floppy ears.
No one should be breeding any dog ever! There are millions of dogs needing homes who will be pts and for every dog who is bought a shelter dog will be put to sleep

These dogs are one of the best dogs to ever have in the world they are not dangerous really they are really friendly and good as well to be around kids I think people just really need to give them a chance and stop giving them a bad name
In comparison to the amount of XL bullys in the UK the figure for attacks is actually really low, like with any popular breed you will see more attacks as the population is high. The media is not using factual figures if you didn't realise already?
GTFO come see my XL Bully and tell me she's dangerous lol I'm far more dangerous than my Bully if you mess with my dog.. bullys are great dogs, in any wrong hands, or people that get them and don't do anything like exercise, train, and socialize them it's the owners fault if something happens, need to stop blaming the dogs and blame the other end of the leash period!! I think the Yorkshire Ripper would have been chilled out in this sunny compound with a pool, now pan to the XL Bully named 'Killer' who lives in a block of council flats...
No one in a council flat could afford to feed such a dog let alone but a Bully XL. However you are right restrictions should be put on where they can live as they need a big place with a big garden. Yes restrictions on owners ,just as you would have with a gun in the UK.
My dog was an accident his mum was my friends american bulldog and the dad his big rough collie so he came out almost as stocky a these bullys but on stilts and with slightly longer hair so he looks more in proportion. Hes my medical alert dog for my epilepsy, gently pinned down many golden retrievers, german shepherds and other breeds that have gone for me on the floor after a seizure and is only 11 months older than my oldest child so has lived around them for the last 11 years of his 12 years with me so far. Im not sticking up for these sort of bullys as they have been inbred so much especially once they come over here, i just wish the generalisation of breeds would stop and they made it harder for dogs like that to be made and owned by irresponsible people.
This is the real problem. We own a regular pittie, sweet as pie, but he's high energy, as are all bully breeds. If you don't have room to exercise them they get pent up and frustrated. They also do have a tendency to be dog reactive, so if you've got a bully breed in an apartment setting where it doesn't have much room and is potentially surrounded by other dogs in neighboring apartments, it's going to be hyped up all the time, which is a disaster waiting to happen.
@@mansbetterrealise Be extremely careful with having lots around any XL pit type dog- even a cross. They have killed and mauled many people while having fits. Just do research to see the numbers. Violent flailing with the owner ''not looking like themselves'' triggers these attacks.
People are always in denial about the dangers of something they desire. Just because you have not seen the aggression in a dog does not mean it is not there. The color of somebodies hair and skin can't kill you, but if that dog get you into his muzzle you will be chewed and or killed! If would never live next to a neighbor with a dog like that without something to put it down in case of an attack! Your dog loves you, and they don't know me! Period.
Because we dont live in a society that wants to experience another Dunblane...one incidence of school kids been slaughtered is enough thanks very much!!!. Putting guns in the hands of idiots is not the answer to this problem and if America is anything to look that, where school shootings have became so normal, then there's your reason why we dont have every Tom Dick and Harry touting guns in their back pockets in this country.
Created for America where people have big homes. Big gardens, plenty of land and guns to put them down when they turn crazy. This woman wouldn't be able to control one of these if it went crazy. They're simply too powerful when they turn. There's been 3 attacks that I know of by them just 2 miles from my house. One was my neighbour at the bottom of my garden attacked by their bully. Mother and son. Second killed a male in his 30s. (he was visiting a friend) Third a woman and I got stuck in traffic for 30 minutes because of it.. How much is one of her dogs? My guess is £20,000.
So what happens when a rottweiler, doberman, great Dane, any mastiff breed, or any large bulldog breed turns on you? You have no knowledge on the subject at all.
It's not the breed, large dogs that are not properly trained can be dangerous. Ban XL Bullies and bad owners will get Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Mastiffs... Owners who aren't intentionally bad will likely still get large dogs (it's the main determinent in dog choice), then not train them properly and end up with dangerous dogs anyway. Register owners License breeders Establish a DNA register
@@Scubadooper couldn't agree more. The problem is with the owners accountability. Imagine if all the street wallys move onto getting un- trained malinois dogs then you will have a serious problem. A dog that is bred to be a biting machine that is so agile and filled with prey drive.
I know we are all different kinds of people in this world who have different preferences. Also in the taste of dogs. But to say that the XLBully is just the same as any other dog race is just ridiculous. You cannot say that a cat is the same thing as a tiger, or that a lizard is the same thing as an aligator. Of course all animals can be trained to a certain degree, but genetics and instincts also play a huge role in the animals behaviour. You just have to look at the statistics of violent dog attacks to see that pitbull-type dogs always score the highest in this regard.
If you're going to bring statistics into it you should learn how to apply statistics properly and account for sample set bias. Yes, Bully type dogs are linked to attacks but not because of their breed it's because of their owners. Remove Bullies from the statistics and those bad owners will get Cane Corsos, or Rottweilers, or... That's why a ban won't work. Register ownership (or potentially license it) License breeding Establish a DNA register
So say we ban them then, those same irresponsible owners go and get a rottweiler. It's problem solved is it?😅 figures are actually low in comparison to the population, the facts itv are getting are from a group called bully watch who have admitted they're facts are from social media. Take a look into RSPCA,Battersea, dogs trust who actively campaign against breed specific legislation
Actually you're wrong, it was the golden retrievers, and your lab type dogs. Also pittys have scored over 90% on temperament testing. I do agree genetics can play a big part, there are too many that are also inbred and that does nothing for this amazing breed.
Completely agree with you . Have a look back on dog breeds and what they were bred for initially. Its in their DNA retrievers were bred to retrieve. Cavs were bred to be lap dogs . Boarder collies bred for hearding sheep amd working hard..pits were bred for bull and bear bating. They carry these instincts today . Retrievers high number of bites are nips.. usually playing. Not aggressively attacking .dont be rediculous..any deaths from retrievers and labs ?? Amd I know what I'm talking about .. ive owned Dobermans German shepherds and now a Golden. With family into rabbiting.. with lurchers who are bred to do exactly what they do daily
A woman near my daughter had two. They were in the garden all the time, never walked or allowed inside just going crazy and when they got out one of them bit someone, so whose fault is this, not the dogs.
That's truly sad. Ignorant owners, any dog will go crazy like that. Every single one of my dogs (rescues) have all been pittys, bullys, even Rottweilers and none of them were ever mean, aggressive or dangerous. My dogs have always all slept with me they are loved like one of my kids, no I don't treat them like babies but they're part of my family, and treated amazingly.. some people shouldn't own a pet rock
a lot of the dogs that mauled or killed people were looked after amazingly , by dog breeders etc and were treated like family. The same family members who would post comments like yours and then watched helpless as they attacked their other family members when they got spooked over anything
Just look at the thing!! As soon as that animal goes off on one somebody is going to get hurt. In the UK we should bring back the dog licence and pet insurance for animals like these. Horrible!
What is wrong with a genuine family dog of suitable size and temperament. Meth inks the owners and breeders need beefing up at the dogs expense. People make me sick
When you buy a dog you should have to sign a document to say who you are and where you are from and have a meeting with police to see if you are capable of looking after a type of dog
Dogs that are kept in cages like this have the potential to attack when they get spooked or basically when they are let out of their cages or into the street. I’ve seen a guy walking one and the xl bully dog didn’t bark or try to attack me but it was pulling on his lead and dragging the owner around who was a grown man. I’m sure they are lovely dogs most of the time especially with their owners, but they also pose a threat to other people, particularly young kids who are not strong enough to fight off a dog of this size if it suddenly attacked someone. There are dog breeds where the dog poses almost zero threat to humans, as a dog owner, I love my dog because he’s soft and loves meeting new people and other dogs has never bitten anybody, he can be off his lead and he’s totally fine around little children and babies. One because he’s a good breed for a house pet, and two because he has grown up in a loving home, where the calmness of the owners and the family around him have made him a big cuddly softy who only barks when the doorbell goes
@@ratmanbug the trouble with that is almost everyone else wouldn't, and you don't live in your own dictatorship. That's not difficult, it just takes politicians who are willing to do slightly more than the easiest, most convenient, populist, first thing that comes to mind. What's needed is: Registered dog ownership (licensed for powerful breeds) with strict liability for the dogs actions (ie not only dangerously out of control dogs, but the damage as well, eg murder/manslaughter) Licensed dog breeders (also with liability for the dogs actions, ie dangerously out of control dogs, not enough owners know how to train/treat a dog and this would encourage continued support from professionals) Establish a DNA register

We cant be ignorant commentators. The videos that they showed looked like pitbulls not bullys. They are totally different breeds. Furthermore, even with pitbulls, they can do more damage if they bite , but smaller breeds bite just as much or more. Those little ankle biters bite, but its not reported. So should poodles and chihuahuas be banned? Ban the irresponsible owners....
I was chased and attacked in the street in Birmingham last year. The culprit was a out of control vicious German Shepherd. I had to go to hospital and have stitches.
There are too many irresponsible dog owners out there never mind dangerous dogs. Small dogs aren’t as threatening apart from maybe bull terriers, but the odds are you can cope with an attack from small to medium sized dogs. Not saying big dogs should be banned, but there is definitely an issue in this country with out of control dangerous dogs and irresponsible owners. I say that as a former Rottweiler owner who was responsible.
I remember a German Shepherd barking loudly right at my face a few centimetres away...fortunately nothing happened. The owner was there with a leash and he apologized for his dog's behaviour. I was not scared. There was a German Shepherd that went up to almost its full height in a park (it was on a leash) and my mum is around 5'0" so she is short and she does not like dogs that much so she got scared because the dog was towering over her and barking lol. Nothing bad happened. My mum and her 8 brothers and sisters and parents owned a labrador a long time ago but that dog was very calm and nice...sadly a snake killed it.
A week ago in manchester I got drop by a friend getting close to mine about 8pm I notice something running towards me I can only hear foot step it was this breed when he got close stood my ground he was barking I stood screaming back before the owner came saying a casual sorry mate.
I keep hearing that these dogs just need proper training. 1) I've never had to train any of my dogs not to maul people to death. 2) These dogs have grown in popularity where I live and they are all owned by the same type of people, incapable of keeping their own lives in order, let alone actually shell out for even basic training. If you want to own a dog like this it should be muzzled and leashed in public, zero exceptions or forgiveness, plus heavy fines if caught breaking the rules. If these dogs escape they should be permanently removed. These dogs should need to be registered and fully insured for liability so that when they do attack, the victims actually get something out of the owner. Finally a single incident of aggression should be immediate grounds for the dogs to be euthanized.
I don't understand why people insist on having dogs that pose a risk to society and have no benefit over any other breed ....there's no reason for them to exist. yeh some can be sweet and loving but you never know which ones will end up being a problem until its too late 🤦♀️
If it can chew your face off then it needs to be removed. When my toddler is yanking on its tail it's going to start snapping. My spaniel cross couldn't break the skin on a rice pudding
I can't see how they have any notion of the temperament of their breeding females when they're isolated in separate quite impressively built cages. The dogs can't even see each other. Dogs are an incredibly social species. Is there a reason these dogs can't be housed together? How can they say the offspring of these dogs are mild mannered?
@@Oakleaf700 I guess that's my point. They're saying their dogs' offspring are all mild mannered when the mothers themselves are kept isolated to stop fighting. It suggests the mothers have aggression issues and keeping them so isolated isn't good for a dogs mental health. Any puppies pick up their most important doggy social skills in the first weeks of life and in this case the pups are learning their social skills from isolated females who quite possibly are aggressive, stressed and not well socialized themselves. Believe it or not but any dog can be trained to be assholes… it’s just unfortunate that the people who will abuse dogs are attracted to these types of dogs because they are big, intimidating and they have that strong jaw.
Agreed. Every dog has teeth and any dog can bite. I too have always had these dogs. Absolutely protective, but they love their people intensely. The most loving, loyal dogs..
@maynardssoblue3839 that’s why these dogs are attractive to low life humans who think they are “tough” or whatever and train them to be mean. It’s the PEOPLE not the dog
It's time the government clamped down on breeders for all kinds of dogs, because there are sanctuaries over run with dogs that are not wanted because of breeders, dogs are being put to sleep daily ,dogs are dumped in the wilderness and left to die even pups....people who are breeders know this and yet breed for money..they are not animal lovers as far as ime concerned...and that woman could not hold that dog, they are too strong for anyone to hold if they go for people or dogs, this breed needs to die out altogether, I would also say the same as corser dogs...I love dogs I think it's a shame when they suffer because of owners ...there will be many of these dogs put to sleep ,I go to blame the breeders ...
Again Britain so judgmental based off looks and not the true character of the dog. If you was to do this against a human you would be called out a racist so why should it be allowed against a family pet?
It's just our government trying to score votes and social points with the idiots that will believe what the news and their Facebook timeline tells them, and also to distract us from the governments constant and consistent mismanagement. Forget tackling inflation, lack of jobs, rising rents, cost of living crisis, lack of housing, stagnant wages, decreasing living standards, declining education results, because the government is going to keep you safe by banning that big scary dog that is a threat to you and your family, that you can barely afford to feed
No dog should be in the same home as children. I have a dog and wouldn't have any child visit my home because my dog was tormented and starved in a home with children tormenting her.
Dogs don't need to be humanised and won't ever be comfortable in that world.. They should be trained and respected as our companions and given mental and physical stimulation. Unfortunately the breed is a cross breed from what we could define as a fighting dog so inherent blood lines alone start you in a very tricky direction. That being said all animals and humans are a social product of the environment they exist. So an XL bully in a happy environment with correct training and stimulation is all good. Now put a clown on the end of the lead with 2 legs and a set of pressure surroundings with stress and we're in bother big time. I've trained many dogs and those labeled aggressive. It's all connected pretty much to the environment and training... case in point I have had more issues with cockapoos over last few years because I would suggest a large proportion of cockapoo owners aren't dog people and have purchased a cross breed with working spaniel lines and have no real idea what they need to do to live with anything other than a TEDDY. Now back to the bully, by design they're appreciated or attracted to certain individuals for all the wrong reasons and no matter what your going to do with the breed they will find another cross to abuse and own .. hence a lot are ending up in rescue centers already. Bin that and go find another.. any dog can cause injury to human flesh, but if you look aggressive to start with it's far easier to label and get you banned than a sheep in wolf clothing. Unfortunately I think the breed was created for all the wrong reasons and it will be banned.. The same can not be said for some of the individuals that own dogs generally for the image and aggressive status.. and that's any status dog... I'd happily train any dog. It's the human that's attached to other end of the lead that's the problem
All of my bullys and pittys have been rescued, whether bred to the point of absurdity then tossed like trash, or people who get them and can't control a dog like that for like u said, training stimulation, socialization..it's really sad people have ruined these beautiful dogs. I had Rottweilers as well 3 all rescued they were great dogs, but it took me a long time working with them, training, socialization to have them trust me as well as others. 3 were abuse cases. They lived good lives and such good dogs. But my breed has always been the bullys, I won't own any other dog. Every dog has teeth and any dog can bite. Something also needs to be done about backyard breeders hackers of these dogs. If there were ways to honestly get ahold of backyard breeders and try to keep them from doing so alot of the so called "aggressive " bullys. Pittys would be better off, I know it's a tall order for something like that. When you work in rescue, I am in bully rescue, it's absolutely heartbreaking to see the amount of them slaughtered at shelters. I know we can't rescue them all but most of us will keep trying until one day something will be done about horrible breeders, I could keep going on but it'll take me a week. I also agree that alot of your so called "family" dogs are worse than alot of this beautiful breed. I've watched Goldens go and attack for no reason, same with labs, as well as others, and the littles,? Forget it, they're worse than most big dogs.

@Underman1223 are u being sarcastic? Because my point is everyone thinks all your family dogs would never attack, bite or go after anyone. I was also saying that there are more attacks by these dogs than pittys/bullys. I'd say 99% of dogs that do go after people, act aggressively, go after other animals are due to irresponsible owners. People that don't train them exercise them, love and take care of them. They should not have dogs, or animals period!! I'm truly tired of people blaming the bully breed for everything. The statistics are incorrect, I'm not saying there aren't those issues but it's nowhere near what everyone seems to think. I've been rescuing more than half my life, 15 of those years are pitbull Rescue. People should need to take a class on how to raise a dog, if u don't have experience with a certain breed they need to be thoroughly educated on that breed before getting that dog. People have ruined the pittys, bullys, I'm sorry but that moron that did this video really pissed me off. I will stop because I can go on and on.. BUT I do know alot of what happens is the owners fault.
@@shariquinn7679you've pretty much nailed what I've said to the door here. I think you're correct. I have trained many breeds that are labeled aggressive. I've seen very little aggression in any dogs other than social anxiety brought on by the absolute ineptitude on the owners part. It should be an honor and privilege to share a chapter of your life with a dog and not an entitled throw away gimmick. We could probably go on here for days, but there's a narrative that people want to fill in and justify.. you get a car license to drive a car, you should realistically be licensed to own an animal in public for both your protection and it's so you don't get idiots breeding for easy cash and filling up the rescue centers...a cockapoo is a working cross. A Hungarian viz is a working dog, yet they're popping up all over with anxiety issues, coz guess why, owners like the look but not the work involved..... Border Collies were a classic example years ago. They went stir crazy from mundane domesticity.. and research cocker spaniels. A working dog breed that can have real issues with non working lifestyle and anxiety built ticks.. small dogs, like secret assassins can curl a lip that nobody sees other than the other dog. Everyone needs to be aware of what their dogs are capable of and passing it off as. Eeee he or she's never done that before ain't gonna wash... We can't save every dog kidda but I'm impressed at your effort to do what you can. I'll rescue what I can and work with owners to clear up lines of communication with their dogs.. be good and take care of your rescues ❤
They are not monsters bred to kill, they are bred to protect . As a Pitt bull owner since child hood and who literally rescued an XL off the street. I have never haf any of my dogs show aggression to people or other animals. Some stupid person let my XL out of my gate on purpose and my neighbor called to say she was at her house playing with her poodle. Because my dogs are socialized with all kinds of people and pets and are well trained. They will not show any aggression until I say attack in German.
The bloke who let his off-lead Pitbulls nearly kill my 13yo, half blind, on-lead border terrier said his dogs were good as gold little softies too and blamed me. F*ck these dogs. Status symbols for people too soft to fight with their hands or masking some kind of insecurity.
Simple question could you physically stop your xl bully if it we t into attack mod and wasn't listening to your command could you over power that dog or could a average woman or kid the answer is no so it's dangerous
You say it's never shown any aggression to people or other animals. And then you say it won't show aggression until you say Attack! in German - so why/when are you using this command and what is it directed toward (assume it's an animal or human and not your sofa or some toy). Clearly you've already seen proof of it showing aggression on command and are training this into the dog...So, it's capable.. as you know. Not every dog will perfectly obey rules for life - same as we humans don't. It's a risk I hope you never have to face or deal with.
After the time that man spent with Kat & her dogs where you can visually see 0 aggression or uneasiness with any dog shown yet the final words he said were “but obviously they’re vicious monsters who’ve been simply bred to kill”?? Makes no sense at all. Not one bit. There’s obvious pre-existing bias from this interviewer and what a damn shame that is. Kat was very well spoken & has a ton more knowledge and spent a lot more time with dogs than any of the interviewers in any of these videos & interviews. I’d be interested to see on what dogs that have attacked people actually DNA test as true American Bullies or rather mutt-mixes because I have doubts.
The dogs may be of good temperament here but hard to tell in an enclosure. I couldn't help see that they aren't lead trained anyone that wasn't the muscle man would have been pulled along and therefore not controlling the dog. They look like a good breader and the dogs are calm with people at that point but what about in a busy UK city instead of quiet countryside? Situations dogs aren't used to they will default back to being scared/ defensive/aggressive depending on the breed. Do they chase a bike or a child when the prey drive kicks in if something runs past them and they are powerful so nothing holding them back. A chihuahua can be badly bread an agressive but it's not going to do that much damage or escape the handler as easy. As they are popular lots of people will breed for the money and see without properly training them so that means the prey drive has nothing at all to control it but probably has been re-enforced and as a breed they lock on after that so no hope.
If a bully is gotten as a puppy and the owner is responsible and will train and socialize that pup, and keep the training up for them the dogs can adapt to living situations. If you get an older one obviously you don't know how the dog will react but that's with any dog. That's why people need to research the hell out of any breed of dog they are wanting,
@@shariquinn7679 I agree that lots of dogs have the potential to be trained poorly and end up having a issues. That however wasn't my main point. Such a large dog, as you could see when the man was walking them, is more likely to cause injury as a handler does not have the power to stop them if they lunge. If people like the dogs so much get a smaller bully. It's the combination of size with the potential ferocity. Yeah as you say any dog may have 'bad behaviour' as an issue but some breeds have more tendency to snapping and fighting and the bully is part pitbull that was trained to fight and already on the list as they do have this tendency. People made the breeds, people breed these traits and sadly when dog fighting was a 'sport' 🤮 people wanted dogs that had that bite and that's in there history. They aren't all bad but the combination of size and prey/attack traits has already cost lives. If the ban comes in it means in future when someone is thinking about getting a dog they get a different breed. They have a dog and less people die/have injuries.
@harmony1307 the only thing I will agree on is that her bullys are BIG, and from the looks of it she wouldn't be able to control the dogs. She's struggling in the video as everyone sees, she's also worrying about the dog hair on her instead of what's most important, watching her dog, keeping an eye on her dog, I've got a 110 pound XL Bully she's 8 yrs old now and has cancer, she's never been a hard-core puller ,or one to ever act up or act out, she's always been a pretty mellow girl. She outweighs me by about 5 pounds. She is very strong ,and I have gotten pulled by her maybe twice in her life. And that was in the snow, she just wanted to go...having a blast needless to say I went skiing 🤣😄 but seriously I know all about the breed I've had them most of my life..Bullys/pittys are the only dogs I will own. I've had 3 huge German Rottweilers and absolutely loved them, but my preference is the bullys. Yes unfortunately shit people have ruined this beautiful breed, playing God with genetics, line breeding, (in bred) trying to make bigger, badder dogs. Just like they've ruined the beautiful pitty by doing that micro bullshit, that horrible toad line so called exotic bullys,? Have u ever seen those? They're bred so poorly they can barely breathe, walk, its sickening..more than 90% of the bullys are great dogs, I've never seen one ever just all of a sudden snap, I work in rescue and 15 plus yrs with pitbull/Bully Rescue..I've been around some horribly abused dogs, the ones people have ruined, they're some of the most resilient dogs. Banning a breed does nothing to solve the issue. Because once that happens they're on to the next breed. Rottweilers, Bullmastiffs, etc.. BANNING A BREED takes responsible owners dogs away from them, or makes them look like monsters because they have to be muzzled which is bullshit. The monsters are at the other end of the leash,
Not the reality . I rescued two from the street that had escaped breeder.( if I knew he was a breeder I would have kept them) . At first I was terrified of these two giants I had never seen one before but I could not see them killed on a busy high speed road . The entered my garden I opened the door and called them. They charged into my house ,I put them in a room and put my cat and Jack Russell somewhere safe. I was still very nervous about these dogs . I got them to the safety of my back garden . Then phoned the police and said I had two giant killer dogs . By the time the police arrived they had eaten about four kilos of dog food plus my mop bucket . They were so excited to be free. I decided to go into the garden. After they had eaten ,I took some more food. Then I realised that they were two of the softest sweetest dogs you could ever meet, very affectionate. By the time the police arrived and asked if they are dangerous I had to admit that they were two softies . The police approached them with their hands near their gun . I walked straight up to the dogs then the police scanned them for the chip . Hours later the owner arrived and bundled them in to a van. After being terrified initially I was actually sad to see them go. My Jack Russell although adorable can be a vicious and dangerous dog . I had never seen one of these dogs or knew their name ( breed) prior to this . Not suitable for a small house and need a large garden. Maybe not a ban but minimum requirements for ownership ,such as suitable premises and the owners need vetting ,more for the dogs welfare .

Anyone who wants to own a large, strong hunting or fighting breed should be required to take and pass a course, showing they are capable of owning one and understand the responsibility and issues it comes with and then obtain a license-to-own. This should involve mandatory formal dog training for the dog they buy. Then register the dogs - maybe with yearly certifications required. If someone really loves the breed and thinks they add so much to their life that they absolutely need/want one, they should be willing to do the work. Otherwise get a sporting or guardian breed that doesn't have the natural instincts. All breeds were created to do something. Some breeds were specifically created to hunt large game, fight, defend etc. These dogs know how to do this naturally in the same way that herding breeds instinctively have that herding instinct that can be honed and shaped and how retrievers have the instinct to retrieve.
These people always remind me of Oppenheimer. There's a difference, though. Even if Oppenheimer never actually pressed the button or pulled the lever - he still realised what he had created. It's my understanding that he came to feel keen remorse. And, I'm guessing, if you asked him about Hiroshima he'd not say, "Well, I don't know about that. All I can say is my bombs are harmless." Then again, he wasn't inherently evil. He was just an inventor who invented something really destructive before wishing he hadn't.
You're kidding, right? This isn't an inanimate object designed only to destroy. They're living creatures with just as much capacity for love and companionship as any other dog, the only problem being their jaws. Any breed can get violent.
I grew up believing the stereotypes of pits when I was younger until I met some and they are honestly the most loving dogs I’ve ever met and I have a golden retriever the bad reps ones are definitely the result of bad ownership
Nah boss, you want to have a word with all the people who thought they were good owners until their beloved pet turned into a killing machine because of their genes?
All dangerous dog breeders should be prosecuted for creating a dangerous weapon! These poor dogs are specially breed for fighting no mistake about it and those fights are illegal. These are the same sort of people who enjoyed Christians and others being torn up by lions and tigers in sport in ancient Roman. Absolute barbarians! The name says it all " bully" only a bully would think of such a name for an animal who is a victim of the bullies who created them!
The narrow minded comments of inexperienced people is shocking. Wheres the history and owner of said dogs that did the attacks??? All i see is the DOG never once seen the owner. Its a simple fix, you just make the owner accountable. Your dog attacks someone and causes serious harm YOU as the owner get the GBH charge so will serve 5-10 years. If it kills someone you get life. People will quickly revert! This propaganda bullshit will never fix the real problem.
I personally have never taken to bull breeds although i love bull terriers, and some are such characters and have great personality and are cared for, the reason i wouldn't own a bull breed are the potential health problems especially their respiratory health.
It's like asking a gun manufacturer if guns should be banned. They would absolutely never say yes no matter what.
You're talking about a living animal not an inanimate object. Knife statistics make dog attack statistics look truly pathetic.
The solution is:
Register owners (license powerful dog owners) and make owners liable not only for out of control dangerous dogs but also the damage that dog does (eg murder/manslaughter)
License breeders (make them liable for poorly trained dogs, ie make them liable for dangerously out of control dogs to ensure continued care and training for owners from professional breeders - too many owners don't know how to train/treat their dogs)

It’s a dog my guy lol curve your unreasonable fear of a dog you never met.
Register ownership (or potentially license it)
License breeding
Establish a DNA register
@@shariquinn7679 I have a rescue staffy and the only way she would harm you is by licking you to death. 😆
Exactly!
You're right that it's the owner's fault, though you can't excuse that individual dog (even though you shouldn't blame the breed)
a lot of the dogs that mauled or killed people were looked after amazingly , by dog breeders etc and were treated like family. The same family members who would post comments like yours and then watched helpless as they attacked their other family members when they got spooked over anything
This interviewer went way too easy on them
Just look at the thing!! As soon as that animal goes off on one somebody is going to get hurt. In the UK we should bring back the dog licence and pet insurance for animals like these. Horrible!
Whys she cropped his ears?
What is wrong with a genuine family dog of suitable size and temperament. Meth inks the owners and breeders need beefing up at the dogs expense. People make me sick
When you buy a dog you should have to sign a document to say who you are and where you are from and have a meeting with police to see if you are capable of looking after a type of dog
I can't take anyone who mutilates their dog seriously
If nutters can keep these monster then people should be allowed to own guns yo defend themselves against these monsters
You can own guns
Shut them down
Dogs that are kept in cages like this have the potential to attack when they get spooked or basically when they are let out of their cages or into the street.
You, as a grown man, couldn't fight off an attack. With power in their jaws to crush your leg bone, I wouldn't fancy my chances.
So you only want to let people have small dogs? You'd ban Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Dobermans, Alsatians, Malamutes, Huskies, Akitas... ?
@@Scubadooper I most certainly would.
@@ratmanbug the trouble with that is almost everyone else wouldn't, and you don't live in your own dictatorship. Because of that realistically you're probably best off suggesting something that works which everyone else is happy with as well. That's not difficult, it just takes politicians who are willing to do slightly more than the easiest, most convenient, populist, first thing that comes to mind.
What's needed is:
Registered dog ownership (licensed for powerful breeds) with strict liability for the dogs actions (ie not only dangerously out of control dogs, but the damage as well, eg murder/manslaughter)
Licensed dog breeders (also with liability for the dogs actions, ie dangerously out of control dogs, not enough owners know how to train/treat a dog and this would encourage continued support from professionals)
Establish a DNA register

Stupid comment
It's banned in some states its aggressive behavior It's unpredictable it can turn on you any time.
And you're ignorance is more dangerous than those dogs
Its not
Why do they have to have their ears cropped.
I would like to ask her the same question if one of these dogs attacked one of her own children!!
Ok, it wasn't the dogs fault and I know what you talking about . Bad owners . Could have been a police dog ...
you lived.
Good thing it wasn't a Bully, you probably wouldn't be around to comment.
WHY SO BIG ??? DO NOT GET IT
A week ago in manchester I got drop by a friend getting close to mine about 8pm I notice something running towards me I can only hear foot step it was this breed when he got close stood my ground he was barking I stood screaming back before the owner came saying a casual sorry mate.
Sorry u had to experience that mate
Why crop the ears? Being cruel so you can be fashionable 🤷 well done👍
Shocking end of this article. Biaised
they mutilate their ears and yet they say they are dog lovers

I can't see how they have any notion of the temperament of their breeding females when they're isolated in separate quite impressively built cages. The dogs can't even see each other. Dogs are an incredibly social species. Is there a reason these dogs can't be housed together? How can they say the offspring of these dogs are mild mannered?
They are kept separate to stop them fighting.
It IS a recipe for problem dogs.
@@lorryr255 Spot on! I have a {Non Pit} breed, and the mother and father are incredibly sweet natured.
{a showing family so there are seven dogs from age 14 yrs to 2.5 yrs} and they all live together without any gates separating them.
I bought a puppy from this person who came highly recommended, {they only have a litter every few years to keep their line going} and the dog is so sweet natured and completely 'dog savvy' as she spent her early weeks with older dogs and her siblings who were all gentle with her.
she wasn't allowed to leave her mother til at least 9 weeks.
I have had rescue dogs before, and they can much more complex if they have missed out on early socialisation.

Interesting no bossys blood dogs have not been involved in any attacks
It’s people, not the animal. I have been around pit bulls, bullys… and they are gentle and cuddly… they are protective but, isn’t that the point of a dog?
Believe it or not but any dog can be trained to be assholes… it’s just unfortunate that the people who will abuse dogs are attracted to these types of dogs because they are big, intimidating and they have that strong jaw.
Agreed. Every dog has teeth and any dog can bite. I too have always had these dogs. Absolutely protective, but they love their people intensely. The most loving, loyal dogs..
I seen freindly cheetahs and lions.

Of course she has a Pitbull and Dodge Challenger... of course she does.
What's the dog's name? "Tank"?
Those arent pitbulls
My Staffordshire terrier on his lead was savagely attacked and severely injured by a Golden retriever off lead with 2 small girls in charge of him.
My dog didn't retaliate at all and I had to kick the retriever repeatedly in his stomach and testicles to rescue my dog.
He needed extensive medical treatment.
My horse was also attacked by a Labrador and a Boxer while I was riding her.
@@shariquinn7679it's not the Golden's or the Lab's fault. It's the owners remember 😉
I disagree, the increase in attacks on random innocent people show that they are evil dogs that need banning
Simple question could you physically stop your xl bully if it we t into attack mod and wasn't listening to your command could you over power that dog or could a average woman or kid the answer is no so it's dangerous
American bully is not a pitbull
You say it's never shown any aggression to people or other animals. And then you say it won't show aggression until you say Attack! in German - so why/when are you using this command and what is it directed toward (assume it's an animal or human and not your sofa or some toy). Clearly you've already seen proof of it showing aggression on command and are training this into the dog...So, it's capable.. as you know. Not every dog will perfectly obey rules for life - same as we humans don't. It's a risk I hope you never have to face or deal with.
if she really cared about the animals why are their ears clipped?
Most of these dogs are owned in the inner city in america. Do some fucking research at this point its sheer laziness from the british public
Those dogs of hers are in jail cells. Notice they aren't together.
The monsters are at the other end of the leash,
A dishonest person. Thise dogs are obviously not breed to be dangerous. It IS an owner issue. Bad owner equal bad dog, no matter breed of the dog.
I've fostered XL Bullys🐾 and other breeds. The ones I always return with a tear in my eye are the Bullys♥️ 🐕 dogs will be registered in England
It's not the breed it's the owners.
Dogs need to know & respect the human alpha and if done properly they make beautiful pets.
Good interview...Humans are the most aggressive animals in the world...
Calling an animal a son is the big issue. How dare you compare a real human with a son?
If you don't have kids, adopt one
This mad people everywhere 😅😅😅😅
OH ****! She didn't? Did she just trot out the racism card? So does that mean she thinks she's God because she thinks what she has created is a race? Wow. Only ever seen it in comments, before. I've never seen the face of an apologist while they're saying it.
Rishi a hero
Rishi's a clown. Nobody voted for him to lead the country other than his over privileged cohorts.
I want one
Unintelligent people always give an emotional response! ask yourself this question why should dogs be punished?
When the fault lies with the owners!!!

She is a responsible owner.
Absolutely!!!
With registered ownership, licensed breeding, and a DNA register there would be no excuses!
I personally have never taken to bull breeds although i love bull terriers, and some are such characters and have great personality and are cared for, the reason i wouldn't own a bull breed are the potential health problems especially their respiratory health.
Never blame the animal, blame the human
Why didn't he ask her why the dogs ear cropped. It makes them look fierce.
Looking and being are two different things. Those dogs are out of breath after doing nothing. They couch potatoes bred to look menacing
She wiping herself like shes not used to this
