I agree with Coby, I enjoyed every Star Wars movie. I was young when A New Hope was released, so I had to wait over 40 years to see all 9 episodes, the waiting and excitement as each episode was released is something the current Generation will never experience.
I always felt bad for Chewie. Not only did he lose his best friend, he watched what I'm assuming to be the equivalent of what he thought of as his nephew do it. Not only did he lose Han, he lost Ben too to the dark side
I remember walking out of the theater after seeing The Force Awakens. The crowd was literally full of people who had come in at 5:00 AM that morning to watch the 6 movie marathon before the Force Awakens. Probably not a great idea considering that means seeing. Han and Leia finally get together minutes before finding out, “oh, they separated pretty early on and then Han dies.” I can still remember my brother and I leaving and two others were with us (that we didn’t know) in an elevator and none of us said anything going down to the first floor. Silence.
(I've been a fan since the late 70s, by the way, so it's possible to have been on the whole journey and enjoy the sequels! At the time I didn't like The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones, but I've long since made my peace with them.
Peter Mayhew (the original Chewbacca) unfortunately passed in 2019, but he did do a few scenes in The Force Awakens before passing the torch to Joonas Suotamo. 💖
I've got a bad feeling about this is a running gag in Star Wars. It is in all of the movies. It only appears in Episode VIII, spoken by BB-8 in Huttease. Much like the Wilhelm scream that was in every Star Wars movie through Episode VII. During Rey's force dream from the light saber, the voice saying "Rey" is Sir Alec Guinness. Lucasfilm took him saying the word "afraid" and trimmed it down so that he would be in the sequels. The light saber is bulky because it had to be in Episode IV. It had a motor in it to spin the blade to give it the flicker effect. In the last film, the guy who said "Nice shot, Lando." was Wedge Antilles from Episodes IV-VI.
Hi Coby, Great to see someone view the sequel trilogy with fresh eyes & love it rather than hear for the zillionth tine how this trilogy is trash from so called toxic fans. Just so you know, they are working on the script for a Rey centric movie in which she will form & train a new Jedi Order. It will be set 15 years after the events of "Rise of Skywalker."
Well to answer most so your questions, Carrie Fisher died before the filming of Episode 9 so they took cut footage from episode 7 of Leia and put it into Episode 9 I'll answer everything else after I watch the rest of the video.
The sequels were action-packed and fun to watch, but there was no story arc. They had a wealth of rich background to choose from and build on but they threw it away. So frustrating! Now for a few tidbits. The alien in Episode XII who handed out portions was played by Simon Pegg. The storm trooper who Rey influenced to let her go and leave his weapon was none other than Daniel Craig.
I was a fan of the Prequels when it really, really wasn’t cool to do so. (I sort of say in jest) but seriously I remember a time where the Original Trilogy fans cried that it wasn’t the same Star Wars and ruined their childhood. Yet I know 20 something’s who react on RUclips who say they are nostalgic for the Clone Wars because it’s the first SW content they enjoyed as a child. So technically it wasn’t even an Episodic movie. It only makes sense that younger fans exposed this Star Wars for the first time would identify with the new episodes. That is how it should be. Personally though I have to say that the two directors played with characters like action figures as one writer tried to fix what the other did only for the first guy Abram’s to come in and try and spite the second and take back his story lines while characters I’ve spent thousands and thousands of hours in the lore of. I’ve always said I can’t get mad at a writer (like Lucas) for telling the story they want to tell but that’s not what happened here. Abrahms is a casual Star Wars fan. His writing was lazy. Force Awakens a rehash of A New Hope and The Last Skywalker trying to reclose and tie together a 9 chapter story with zero creativity. I want to enjoy all Star Wars but I can’t make myself like this.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
😮😮😮 excellent reaction we all like the first one except how they handled on solo and that Hans son has turned the Darkside how cliché but it’s their fault they didn’t tell him about later. They thought if they hide the truth about him that he grew up with that no idea so he didn’t turn it upside. Didn’t you learn anything that no it is Power that’s how he can be turned when he finds secrets that the head Porty remember he was programmed and swore life oath to protect him and his children and his family he was there when when Ben was born, he held Ben in his arms played with him protected him, taught him things and he wants to kill him. He doesn’t wanna kill him cause he’s still his son. The son was best friend. Yes, it is pretty in the suit for the first one. I think after that the young kid takes over he still tall cause after episode seven he got injured. Somebody mugged him to steal his stuff. He was injured very badly and he died later after episode seven I think he died after episode eight but I don’t think so after episode seven Terry Fisher dies on the way home for episode eight in the airplane itself. She died mid flight. They didn’t even know she was dead till the plane tried to wake her up that she was sleeping on the floor was over and she was already dead so they had to use deleted scene seven CGI throughout the entire other to the other film episode nine gets worse my hair, but I’m glad you can enjoy Them if they hadn’t killed episode seven I wouldn’t hate me at all but the only get worse trust me, but there’s the Mandalorian the Kenobi series book of Boba Fett. There’s other good shows to take place five years after five years after episode six and 30 years before the sequel trilogy and now Asoka Tano, the princess of Anakin Skywalker has shown us the world between worlds inside her show so we know we can change things change the past things so we’ll see what the sequel Georgie when it’s all said and done thanks for the fun until next time
I also agree that the sequels LOOK much better than the prequels (obviously this is largely down to the film-making/effects technology at the different times). But it does mean they feel more like the OT.
I love the sequel movies, they aren't perfect, there are parts that are a bit janky, but the same was true of the originals, but people choose to forget. It's hard to not let the haters spoil these movies for us
Ya, I feel the people that dont like these missed all the clues in the first 6... and they don't understand the concept.... Rey has a natural ability to read others mind with the force.. so she can see what, for instance, Kyli was chong to do in the fight before he did it, allowing her to counter before he could do anything.. she is the most powerful.. and like Darth, when he was little, could race pods by seeing what happens before it actually does.. according to qwaigon... there's so many clues i feel these people missed. Also, hey using the blue lightning... the only other person able to do it was the emperor... Palpatine... it's all laid out, and perfect, but for some reason some people just didn't get it.
I thought these films were really good fun and really well made, and a lot of the "fan" anger annoys me. They're all flawed, of course, but so were the other six. It doesn't stop them being hugely entertaining. (Indeed much of the actual film-making is better in the sequels - although of course whether people like the stories is entirely subjective). I think the main "rage" was down to the small but vocal group of people who liked a lot of the "spin off" books that came out after the original movies and didn't like that the movies made different choices for the "legacy" characters.
They had a chance to do something good after The force awakens but then totally forgot what Star Wars was about. Disney went for the money instead of being faithful to the story, killed Luke, brought back Palpatine..Just because with no reason whatsoever..it's just stupid and make no sence at all. I like Rey"s character but they blew it, even George Lucas said so. For me, Star Wars ended at the end of Return of the Jedi.

TLJ is my favorite of the sequels.
Really good to see the enjoyment and excitement through the trilogy. Great reaction. "Cheesy, but I like it". That's Star Wars!
(I've been a fan since the late 70s, by the way, so it's possible to have been on the whole journey and enjoy the sequels! At the time I didn't like The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones, but I've long since made my peace with them.
I can see it's flaws and I agree with most of the criticism. I also wish things had been done differently. But I just enjoy it. Can't help it.
They are all flawed in some way. Won't stop my enjoyment of them though. 💖
I can respect that.
Peter Mayhew (the original Chewbacca) unfortunately passed in 2019, but he did do a few scenes in The Force Awakens before passing the torch to Joonas Suotamo. 💖
How I would describe this trilogy for people like me with 3 words. Hope, heartbreak, hate. 😂😂
I’ve enjoyed all 9 movies over the years
I just ignore the fan boys
45:54 thats because Starkiller Base can fire its laser from several light years away.
I share your enthusiasm with Star Wars and your absolutely Adorable💐May the Force be with you and may God Bless you Always✝️🕊️✨❣️
The Trooper that released Rey and dropped his weapon for her was Daniel Craig, James Bond himself.

This is where the fun stops.
Like Yogurt said, it's all about the merchandising.
I want your Star Wars '77 shirt lol. The year I was born

I'd like to point out that Aayla Secura, Barriss Offee, Luminara Unduli, and Ashoka Tano are all "Girl Jedi".

Did you know that Daniel Craig was in this episode? He was the stormtroopers that Ray told to let her go.
Also Simon Pegg played the junk dealer in episode 7
Hello there Coby😉It’s Great to see you as always🌹Enjoy the movies and have Very Nice Weekend💫❣️✨
My favorite reaction, "The bikini!"
Finn (John Boyega) is in a great film called 'Attack the Block', check that out.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

Yeah what a mess... Some of the stuff I like, but they ruined it.
With the rest.. mix feelings about it all... Could have been done a lot better
Not sure if you saw The Exorcist, the actor talking to Oscar Isaac played the older priest in that movie.
That’s none of them Carrie fishers daughter👌😉The pigtails are very very Cute😉👌✨💫🚀
That’s none of them Carrie fishers daughter👌😉
It's Ghost lives on
There is another RUclips channel Rhode Island Lewis that is copying Coby's videos and reuploading them to that channel.
Please do Lord of the Rings trilogy and Hobbit trilogy after back to back
The division it has caused in the fandom is just sad
the fans who are divided need to get their adult life priorities in check
@mamalannightshyaman you must be brain dead
@@mamalannightshyamancasual fans like you don’t understand but the sequel trilogy is almost universally hated. You’re in the minority
There's no division. Star Wars fans don't recognize Disney's nonsense as Star Wars and Disney fans are not Star Wars fans.
Ewoks?
For the algorithm and beyond.

Yes actually grandfather..
eww nope no thanks
I don't care what all the 50 year old children say, my young children loved this movie
I'm 55 and I love all of them. The "50-year-old children" lost their inner child, but some of us still recognize entertainment when we see it.
@@DaleESkywalker heck yeah my friend!
I'm sure they'd have loved the originals much more....
@DaleESkywalker thats gotta be the most ignorant comment I've read this month, lol

Thank goodness these abominations have nothing to do with Star Wars.
Some of the worst movies to have been made in modern times. Literal trash
Always great reactions from you! You should take a look at John Cleese in a series called "Fawlty Towers". I think you will like it.
Funniest show there ever was, and they only made 12 episodes!
