It probably would have at least made top 10. If she also didn’t delay the album and go on tour with those vocals, she would have had TEOM part 2, even with the big stars releasing albums that year. The fact the single is her only non-number one (apart from Obsessed) to have multi-platinum and one of 9 singles to have achieved multi-platinum certs in the US. Weird how the era that people were rooting for Mariah and was clearly supposed to be another commercial prime for her became the era that killed her career from a commercial standpoint.
@@Solo-vh9fm I wouldn't say her career is dead commercially. The Caution era and the MC25 era repaired her public image and her recent live performances during these trying times have gained her back a lot of respect from people she lost during the Stella era.

I love these types of videos. Mariah really insists on things being perfect and she will stop the presses to add a harmony or just an extra oh oh somewhere to improve the song. She's a perfectionist. I love seeing her actually work in the studio it's really amazing to watch her in her elrment like that. So I really appreciate these videos that kinda show that extra work she does. She could just layer one track 3 times but Instead she rerecords it. She's a legend. No one's better!

Her MIAMTEC album is overly produced that's why she can't really replicate it on live performances. Thank God, Caution went in.
I mean while thats true, hhahaha i mean heavenly was obv overproduced, but most songs like camouflage, beautiful, the art of letting go, youre mine -- she sang these live and she nailed em
Maybe is overly produced but overall is a great album. I think for her as an artist is not bad to have an album for each taste. Vocally speaking Caution has nothing to do against this one. (And there is less auto tune than what people think in this album)

@@kennethballena mariah songs are meant to be heard not to be performed live. Especially her post-daydream produced. I've rarely enjoyed those post-daydream songs when done live. Actually her only song that I prefer live is MSG make it happen and BET blueprint VOL, the rest are still better when heard in the CD.
