      Tell you what, Jaylen Brown is exactly like this. As was Michael Jordan.
      I kept saying Jaylen Brown is Jordanesque as much as Kobe was. people kept laughing.

    Guaranteed no other player designs their shoe to this depth, or let alone knows anything about their shoes.

  • @thegreat195
    @thegreat195 5 лет назад +2

    My favorite basketball shoe ever is the Kobe 8. Apart from all the stuff he said,y favorite part of the show was how the heel sunk in a tad bit more and it made it so much more comfortable and gave you a closer feel to the ground which I feel makes you more stable and definitely helps with rolling ankles and what not. Some real high end tech stuff went into that shoe

  • @kray97

    I hope Nike and Kobe keep working together on the Kobe line even after retirement. His shoes are no joke...they are the best sneakers on the market.

    • @Pernection
      @Pernection 8 лет назад

      Then there aren't many true players because Under Armour makes good sneakers but all I hear is pissing and moaning about how they don't like the look of their shoes. Just a bunch of shoe nerds who are average players anyway that would rather look at their sneakers because they are too nice looking or overpaid for that crap

    • @Whoasked777

    Combine the quickness and lightness of a running shoe and the durability and traction of a basketball shoe.

    I hope young kids are getting this the tech of a shoe, wow maybe I'm the only one getting this that edge just to be great in what you put your heart too! wow smh thats why he got five rings and the others don't of his generation smh!!!

  • @athenstar10

    If I play ball, I might buy Kobes over other signature shoes because he actually cares about the quality of his shoes and focus on the purpose of a Basketball shoes. But if I'm on the streets, I'd be rockin' on Jordans no offense Kobe😊.

    Low top shoes are awful for basketball and your ankles. His shoes suck, I don't know how he does it. He's great though.

    • @SlMBA.
      @SlMBA. 8 лет назад +1

      since kobe went low top with his shoes if you notice alot of nba players signature shoes have gone low top

    • @kray97
      @kray97 8 лет назад +1

      +James Bond23 Bullshit. Lows are perfectly fine for playing. Mid and High Tops offer no better ankle support. If you want ankle support, you should tape your ankles and wear the shoes you are most comfortable with.

    • @JamesBond-bn1lo
      @JamesBond-bn1lo 8 лет назад +2

      +kray97 excuse me? you must be a European or Hispanic soccer loving kid if you think like low tops are as good ankle protection for your ankles. High tops cover and have a wall built around your ankles, low tops leave your ankles exposed and unprotected. There is a difference.

    • @kray97
      @kray97 8 лет назад

      +James Bond23 Hi-tops don't really offer actual effective ankle support. They just don't. I've seen many sprained ankles with High-tops. If anything lows are better because they are lighters on your feet and give you increased range of motion. If you want actually ankle support/stabilization, you should tape them.

    • @kray97
      @kray97 8 лет назад +1

      +James Bond23 "In a 1993 study conducted by the University of Oklahoma, which appeared in the American Journal of Sports Medicine, no correlation was found between wearing high-tops and increasing or decreasing ankle injuries."
