You should add a section where the wheat field is being harvested. It creates story and adds detail. And could help with transition. Or you could build a rare land area with lots of crops and a barn. With a house.

You don't have to do this but I personally think it would look better changing the location of the table outside the bakery closest to the door. To address the empty space in the field, why not build it out to look like a section has been harvested? You could store some crops in bundles or bales or have a farmer bringing the grain up to a mill. Sounds like a fun touch of life.

Maybe I've missed this as I haven't seen every video, but how do you keep this all clean? I can imagine this project can collect a lot of dust over the months and simply putting the vacuum cleaner over it might be risky for obvious reasons
    Also some ideas:
    -Hot-air balloon/zepplin over the city
-A broken bridge above the tracks in the canyon (maybe with tunnel) so that is looks like the has been a different track a couple of decades ago but it was neglected
-A small watchtower in the forest at the back (near the mountains)
-A theater/open-air stage in the city
-Mining operations on the moon base (with machines)
-A restaurant on a pier at the harbour

Loving how it's all coming together. The area around the cabin is a little dull when compared to the other parts of the city. Maybe adding a couple bee hives next to it would be worth exploring... and to extend the story a bit to fit the overall theme of the city (like the money laundry criminal operation you have going around the city), you could have a honey shop in your market area (replace the chees cart if there's no more room). But I digress... everything looks fantastic!

    1. The Watt House at Gaines’ Mill National Battlefield Park.
    2. The Garthright House, which is ~1 mile away from the Watt House, at the Cold Harbor National Battlefield Park.
    3. The Crew House nearby the Malvern Hill National Battlefield Park.

Could also let you controll the individual color of some houses just remember to label the remotes XD

I was a Lego fan as a child, but that period is far behind me. I still like to see how adults still have fun and I can understand that. Your buildings are really of a high level and the entire infrastructure around it. You have a real eye for detail and know how to give it a lot of depth. Especially the amount of greenery and trees you add. Personally, I think the amount of flower stamps gives the city a ''crowded'' character. But on the other hand, if you look at it from a distance, those studs of the bottom plate disappear a bit from view.😉 Keep it up! It's a joy to watch!

It looks more like wheat then corn to me. Most cornfields, in America at least, are in rows with a noticeable gap in-between rows. It's only about a foot or less between the rows of stalks, but still it's there. For any field, be it wheat or corn or whatever, you could always remove a few random ones throughout the 'box' to make it look a little less uniform. Sometimes in fields, not every seed grows, or it does but suffers a stunted growth resulting in a smaller plant, or one dies due to heat, rain, nutrients, etc. and leaves a small gap. For a 'Corn' like plant, I'd suggest the following part ID's: 6308238/29219 on top of 6143062/2566 connected to a 6321305/39888 and finally on a 6254770/28921. Thats a green/yellow short tube on a brick yellow torch holder connected to a brick yellow 2by1 connector all on top of the brick yellow rods you've been using already. Always cool seeing your updates, the city looks better then anything I've ever made for sure.

with the ceiling lightning on the removable roofes, you can make contact points in the connecting areas, so when you put it on it pass electricity, but you don't tangle up in meter-long cables. those little two pined connectors what they use in computers or rc-models are more than enough for it, you can glue them in place or secure some other method and they are dirt cheap.

Probably the first time I've liked a video upon seeing the "ad" section! Great work all round - would be neat to have a small minifigure scene inside the cornfield if you do expand it in the future.

this lego city feels so realistic now like ofc if you look at details you can tell it's not real, but if you squint just enough it feels like genuinely looking at a real place

I discovered you only now but I have one thing to say. You are truly wonderful. You're making the dream of everyone that grew up with legos become reality and I am really grateful for that. Thank you for sharing this with us

This would be quite expensive but since you are doing all this work, have you ever considered making the back wall TV screens?
That way you could integrate changing lighting and influence bounce lighting into your city (emulating sunset)
I thought of this as they did it on mandolorian 3D virtual stage .. something like this could be implemented. Would love to see it.
    Lighting is so powerful

If you ever have kids or if you do, it will be like the lego movie where you let them come down to the basement and see your lego paradise! This is so cool and I am excited to see more

You should use copper tape to transfer power to the roof for lighting.. i used copper tape for my rc car to install lighting on the body and not have to run wires between the body and the base of the car
