I watched your bedroom makeover when you first started RUclips and was sure your channel was going to blow up. It looks like your views declined a little since, but don't be discouraged! You still produce great videos. The quality is top notch, I love the shots of your appartement, the cats and the subtitles you put. Also interior design is a popular topic and you've already proven once that your style appeals to people. I'm sure you can reach a new audience with these volgs combined with traditional makeover videos. Maybe you can also film the projects and results you do for your freelance clients? Anyway, long comment to say: I really enjoy your videos, please keep making them :)
Good morning! Thank you so much you really hit the nail on the head. I’ve definitely felt discouraged and questioning things and trying to stay committed to this journey! Obviously still a lot to learn since I can’t keep consistent views… but your words are so encouraging. Thank you for the suggestions! Have a nice day 😊
As a freelancer it is so lovely to see how others structure their days :) keep going, love love your videos and can tell you put so much time and care into them!
I love this video! I’m currently in my first year of college for interior design and I’m stressing a lot. I feel like having to constantly get materials is tiring and costly. I also get frustrated when I mess up my drafting and measurements and it makes me not like doing my work. Is this a normal thing to feel, or is the program not for me? And are there any tips you have? I do like the idea of designing spaces tho.
Thanks! What country are you studying in? If you’re in the first year then keep in mind they are teaching you the very basics and will lead into more interesting topics as you go in. I definitely had trouble my first year too! Start working on assignments early so you don’t rush. Consider what type of lifestyle you want after working to know if it’s the right field for you. I’ll try to make a video to go in more depth on tips and what it’s like working as a designer.
Thank you for your reply! I’m currently studying in Canada. And I am in first year, we are doing lots of hands on projects, research and drafting. I will take your tips into consideration and yes please a video on this topic would be very helpful! 💕
So I’m a interior architecture and design mayor and I was wondering where do I start getting or stocking up on those paint and texture material samples ? Any help?
I would research local shops that offer those materials. They would either carry the samples or tell you how to get them. If you’re still in school you can explain you’re a student and get samples for free or you may need to pay a small fee for them.
