@@anniechnnieI want to be an interior designer one day this gave me a *VERY* great understanding about the job I love this cause I know with this job I will have me time to 💗
I love Kelly Wearstlers studio and your videos!, Im actually studing interior design in Italy. Is there any possibility of doing internships within the company? I would really appreciate :))
Thank you! You can check on their website to see if there are currently any openings :)
I did interior design and its so tough getting into places do you have any suggestions
Have a good portfolio that represents your design aesthetics and practice speaking about your work confidently during interviews - good luck!!
May i know what kind of software do we need to be excellent for interior designer job?
I would say that it depends on the firm you are applying to (1) Are they doing just residential or just hospitality or a combination of many sectors (2) Is it just furnishing or you will be working with space planning and structure. If it's just decoration, Photoshop is sufficient. If it's more advanced, then programs like CAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Revit and other Adobe programs like Photoshop, InDesign are all programs that we use on a day to day. This also depends on what the firm is using. Hope this helps :)
@@anniechnnie thank you ^^ it helps me a lot ~ hope you have a good day, Annie 🥰
Do you use sketchup with plugins if so what are they and what are you designing with rhino?furnishing?thanks.
I’m debating going to school for this. Do interior designers have good work life balance?
This depends on the studio that you're working for and how you manage your time. As you become more experienced in this industry, you will start to find your own work style and this is the same no matter which industry you end up choosing
You are beautiful and interior designer rsrsr. Full
Beautiful and inteligente
si pretty
can you share a resume sample and portfolio that help you get a job as interior designer ?
Yes! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about this. Def thinking of doing a video giving my tips when creating your resume and portfolio - coming soon!
@@anniechnnie love your content new follower 🔝
This could've been so much better and way more informative on the KW process and how things get done… ☹️
it is not respectful to speak another language around your co-workers or clients when they do not understand...
Shut up
Get over yourself. Racist asf.
Is it really difficult to get into Kelly Wearstler? The junior job posting on LinkedIn had like 600+ applicants…
It's not easy for sure. You would need to prepare a portfolio, resume, and a well-crafted email. A cover letter is optional. I'm not sure if they are still hiring, but you should definitely shoot your shot if the posting is still up! :)
@@anniechnnie Haha I did! Never made it past the 2nd round. Spoke to Nick for the initial interview and that’s it 🥲 I work at a firm in Dallas and was just exploring my options in LA!
Aww! It’s okay there’s always next time!! Don’t give up :) There are a lot of great firms here in LA that are doing really cool projects
