  • Cyanotype. What in the world is that? It's basically blue printing something with the help of the sun. All I needed was the Cyanotype solution ($10). I found flowers (or weeds in some cases, lol) in my yard and started printing away! The sun changing the color and formulating the print was amazing to watch. And then when I rinsed my print in sink water, more magic happened! I even did it with my daughter! The results were stunning. The Cyanotype Solution will last you thru thousands of prints!
    What do you think? Will you give it a try?

    SO...as soon as I saw this I sent right away for some of the chemical so I could do it with the grandkids when they came to visit. They were NOT terribly impressed. I however had the best time and have made some very pretty pieces and will soon have them framed on my wall. Thanks for the idea!

    Since you like Skillshare, you might also like CreativeLive.com. They look very, very similar. I've taken quite a number of workshops on CreativeLive.com and loved every one of them. The quality and depth of content is superb. I am not affiliated with it in any way, simply a happy participant.

    Can you do this in a sunny window if you don't have a yard? :)

    • @LaurelBeard
      @LaurelBeard  3 года назад

      I believe so, as long as the sun is shining directly in the window.
