She is a star with a huge heart. I will never forget her inviting my five year old granddaughter back stage to have dinner with her, take photos with her and blowing her a kiss when she was on stage. My granddaughter had been told she had stage four non Hodgkin lymphoma at that time. That dinner with her favorite singer was twelve years ago and Taylor has continued her beautiful generosity with children fighting for their lives. I’m forever grateful for her big heart.

Story from years and years ago about Taylor and her dad: I think it had to have been at least 15-16 years ago or more, but Taylor was touring through Canada (for the first time I think) and she was in Winnipeg at the time. She was at the Velvet Glove restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel with her dad eating, and they were chatting with their waiter. Her dad was proudly telling the waiter who Taylor was and how proud he was of her. He told the waiter that one day his daughter (Taylor) would be a huge success, to just wait and see. I was eating with my family the next day at that restaurant, and that waiter told us about it, that's how I know. I can just imagine Taylor's dad being so proud and boasting about his daughter to the waiter. Just knowing how big and famous his daughter would be one day. It's pretty special
