A struggling artist means, as a new artist, she has to go to radio station after station to beg them to play her song. and it's not easy because social media was not a thing back in the day.

So once upon a time. A divorce was considered a tragedy. When you take your marriage vows they are for life.
So yes, no matter your thoughts on the matter. Objectively, a divorce is a tragedy-Although it’s often because people had poor judgment in choosing their partners to begin with.
Perhaps two parents fighting cancer, her mother for a second time, along with parents separating, possibly as a consequence of their major life changes to support their daughter's career, especially since Taylor still had close ties with them, doesn't qualify as tragic in your world.
Did you miss the part about her mom’s breast cancer, brain cancer and her father’s cancer?

I also want to add that I hope her parents are doing well, they seem to be very loving people.

This is a trap to watch this. They got divorced. That’s all. No real tragedy just divorced.

It's scary when both of your parents are sick. In my sophomore year of high school my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer (he smoked a lot) and my mom had a tumor in her uterus. They were both in the hospital at the same time being treated.

I'm sorry and mean no harm but Taylor is a full grown adult and I think the parents don't need to be with her on every show and tour. I was a band mom making sure my son's band got to their shows and their equipment and then back home as they were underage playing all the famous clubs on Sunset strip and Hollywood. Once they were of legal age, they were on their own to do their thing. Seems a bit crazy. I mean an occasional show is great but they seem over protective at her age. Just my opinion. Same with Travis and his brother. There comes a time that you let them go to live their own lives. Wishing all of them well.

Maybe the parents tour with Taylor because she wants them there. It brings her tranquility and support. It may not be the norm … for all but it works for them so why judge?
Her parents are both past retirement age so what’s wrong with them traveling the world with their billionaire daughter? As far as i’m concerned her dad is also a part of her team so he has to travel with her regardless.

I think Taylor Swift parents seem to be really great parents to Taylor but I also think she's been quite sheltered by them, Taylor Swift comes off as a very sweet girl in her early 20s, but the truth is she's in her 30s, you would never know that by her actions and the way she speaks, for example when she was all Goofy and giddy on the stage at the awards and she actually ignored the real icon on that stage Celine dion, Taylor really showed her immaturity at the awards that night, and I saw the pictures they showed her backstage hugging her just to make up a little pr, I don't think anybody was buying that fake expression of affection.
