New Boat SANK!

While cruising in Baja Mexico, we saw this newer looking Maritimo 54 boat (Seahorse) sinking among the rocks. Jim stopped to make sure there was no-one left on board. The entire backend of the boat is gone and lots of debris strewn among the rocks and shore. We heard it just happened and someone had already removed just about anything of value. We found their tender a few hundreds yards away at a popular anchorage; we assume the people made it to shore safely. The tender was stripped as well. We don't have any additional information. It is so sad to see. This is the 7th boat we heard about sinking in the Baja this year. If anyone has details please share....

Wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if these situations were set up by the thieves in those parts.

That boat is destroyed, no matter how they try to rebuild it, once salt water gets, sets in, damage seen & unseen, pass on this one, not worth it !
