I ordered the 5 sets needed for this build last month. I finished LotR Barad-Dur yesterday and the 5 sets were delivered today. Looks like more (a whole lot more) bricks are back on the menu!

I hope you will enjoy the build and finished castle! haven’t come to an agreement with myself if I should moc it up with 10305 since I think that it is a perfect castle in itself. I have five more 31120 waiting for some kind of build too but if I enlarge the hightower even more I think it need a larger variety of pieces to make it more interesting. Then again that is a strong argument for mocing it with the hightower v2.0. Do you sence the disagreement? 😅🤓 I am working on the ”Forgotten castle” from my mind at the moment and maybe that will become a rebrickable moc. 🤓

I have been thinking about a version 3.0 of the hoghtower castle and have 5 more 31120 on the way but I haven’t gotten a clear vision yet of what I would do with the extra 3 sets so I think I will be focusing on other alternate builds for a while. 🤓
Thank you! It is based on the pieces from just the sets but I had some bugs in Studio then I designed it digitally that played tricks on me in the piece count. I have only had positive feedback on the instructions this far so I am counting on it to be accurate to the set pieces. =)
I got a good deal buying 5 sets at the same time from my local toy store ~370€ so it is cheaper than the Lion knight castle. However, Hightower v.2 doesn’t have all the intricate details and nice angles that the Lion knights has since it is limited with parts to build advanced interiours. There is space for it though if you extend with other pieces. 🤓
@@shahanwansa2723 it sure is a lot of money. 😬 but it is a really versatile set to have a bunch of if you likae ”mocing” around, there are so many great builds deisgned with them. 🤓
Hi! Thank you for the input! The width of the entrance is based on the 1x8x2 arc piece. It would be possible to use the half arc pieces to widen it but them you would have to find a use for the 1x8x2 pieces and I am not sure where they would fit better than just where they are. But hey, it’s Lego so EVERYTHING i possible!! 🤓🎉
