Honestly, the most impressive thing the blue team presented was Clemenza's cleaned jacket. That was a huge stain to get rid of!

@@melbell0865 They do, but I think for that one, Gordon was trying to make a point to Clemenza from the service prior to keep just one jacket clean for a night. Plus, if he was allowed an extra one, he wouldn't have spent so much time cleaning the one he was wearing

This is the one time I will say that Barbie is in the wrong. 2 and a half hours just cleaning mussels? And then leaving for a smoke break? Thats ridiculous

@@AshleyYelsha at least 90 mintues. I've seen cleaning mussles done pretty quickly if you're well practiced.
@@frankieseward8667 60 minutes is an hour. 90 minutes is an hour and 30 minutes or 1.5, it justifies Barbie's lack of time. She most likely didn't have any experience.

Legend has it that if you say to this day it took Barbie 2 hours to clean the muscles, Dana will pop up out of nowhere to tell you “it’s been two and a half hours actually!”

It was cruel for the producers to have Kimmie on the show. She never showed signs of qualifying for the job.
You know it's serious when someone makes a mistake so bad that Ramsay threatens them with elimination, as Clemenza did here. He was also selfish for spending more time cleaning his jacket than helping with prep, as was Barbie for taking over two hours to clean mussels. I think Kimmie also depended a little too much on her teammates when the barbecue glaze was her idea. At least Ramsay liked it, though.

This is without question the worst red vs blue menu service in hell's kitchen history.
Probably why such service rarely (if ever) makes an appearance anymore.

I do. She was tougher than all of them. Everytime the Red Team nominated Barbie, it was personal. They looked for things. I laughed, because, "Everytime they thought Barbie was out, Ramsay pulls her back in" and they hated her more. I dispised Christina, actually. They harassed and bullied Barbie all season and she said or did nothing. That's not a real teammate or leader. That makes her an accomplice, complicit. She could have said something. Even Meghan did as ladies ganged up on Monique. She said Monique was still a teammate until Ramsay sent her home. Now that's a leader!
They really hated her for no reason. I'm not going to say I'm the nicest person, but I've always been in her shoes. There is something "non-compliant" about us that annoys everyone. I remember at camp, a girl in my cabin decided to assign chores to everyone but her. All I said was: what about you? And I became her enemy number 1.

yeah. this show is all about that. sound bytes and voiceovers and clips reused and recycled in the same episode and everything chopped up and replaced and you never know what was actually said and done and how they really feel about each other and their dishes. this is why people sue these shows because they made them look way worse than they really were.

I watched some of the raw episodes they’ve released recently where it’s just the kitchen footage completely unedited, and honestly? They feel MORE tense than the actual episodes. So much awkward silence and GR’s one liners hit way harder, but you also get to see him being super supportive and educational which I don’t think always comes across in the final cut of the show. Really recommend if you got some spare time :)

No one’s saying she’s a perfect chef or anything, it just gets irritating how much they harp on her for making mistakes when they’re not perfect, either. She’s definitely not the least competent person on the team when you have Tiffany.

Given her level-headed nature, I’m not really buying that Christina would get that vocally annoyed that quickly over Barbie not washing food quickly enough when she stayed quiet throughout the whole season with the other girls being 100x worse constantly. Either it’s not genuine (editing or producer influence) or she was already at her breaking point and Barbie just so happened to be the straw that broke the camels back. Just doesn’t make sense logically.
