It's incredible that the season that brought us Robyn,Kimmie, Barbie and Tiffany also gave us Christina. As relief.
I liked Justin too. Chilled guy.
Barbie didn’t bother me at all. She wasn’t the best chef by any stretch but personality-wise she was miles above the other three toxic wenches.

Robyn is the epitome of ‘misery loves company’ she always has to start something out of nothing.
Her "clear the air" attempts make me twitch. Shes not clearing air, shes blowing hot air and beating the subject to death.
When Ramsay discards something from your dish, you most likely have already lost the food challenge
Also, if he starts to drain the plate into another plate, you’ve probably also lost.
Christina is my girl. No fuss, straight to the point, willing to learn, has high expectations of herself, not willing to give up, doesn’t play games. What an attitude!
Kind of surreal to see Christina as a contestant. So used to seeing her as one of Ramsay's best sous chefs.
Kimmie: I have no idea what parsnips are.
Also Kimmie: I want to cook Robyn's steak which incorporates parsnips!
I imagine she'd just deep fry the parsnips and call it "Southern"
Dana and Patrick had the jackpot of ingredients and Both totally tanked…
So disappointing...
So, whoever runs this channel and makes the videos, do you think there is enough content for us to get a "Best of Christina" compilation, from all the seasons she's been in after her victory in Hell's Kitchen? I just love how she handles the other contestants and etc through the seasons, and with how impressively she has risen through Gordon's ranks, I think she deserves a best of compilation.

Little fun fact about Blue Cheese. It already has an abundance of salt so adding more is gonna make it taste extremely salty
That applies to more cheeses like feta too, adding salt to them is like adding salt to soy sauce

I love Christina. I'm so glad she's done so well. Gordon opened one of his STK restaurants here, and she opened it for him. It was really cool to see that, and to see how well she's done. I love that she's still with Gordon, and has risen to such a position of trust.

Once again, the common trope in these challenges where chefs are forced between presenting one of two dishes:
*team between presenting Dish A and Dish B. Team doesn’t really get to taste either dish.*
“I like Dish A because of (insert reason why they don’t choose Dish B, usually due to looks or not liking the chef).”
*team drops Dish B, presents Dish A*
Guest chef: either “It’s okay, nothing special or memorable” or “It’s disgusting.”
*Dish A gets low or lowest possible score*
Chef Ramsay: “Could we try Dish B?”
*Ramsay and judges taste Dish B*
“Wow, that was amazing, that would’ve won you the challenge if you’d presented this instead of Dish A!”
*team loses due to not choosing Dish B*
That even happened in yesterday’s video from Season 7.
In one of the season he did say it was good choice to drop it as it was even worse 😂
Fun fact, the chefs actually say a ton more stuff about the dishes than we get to see and spend a lot more time mulling. The editors trim out all that fat and rearrange what they have to say sometimes to craft narratives in that manor. The order of contestants getting judged is also not how it's shown. They edit who gets their turn to make it more interesting cause otherwise it would sometimes result in the winning team just steamrolling.
@@mardukdzieciol1712it was Elise on Season 9, for the Dessert challenge. She used vinegar or something in hers, which he said would’ve cost the team the challenge.
And then there was Heather’s dessert on the same challenge on Season 18. They dropped her dish, the women’s team won the challenge, yet they never showed them tasting her dish to see if it was anything good. It’s interesting to see what would’ve happened had they tasted it, as it could’ve been better than one of the actually presented dishes too.

I think I would adapt to Christina’s ingredients. I would sear the hanger steak with a spicy rub, serve a yam and eggplant hash, and make an crab cake with an asparagus purée.

If I had my pick, I would go Hanger steak, sweet potato (yam) mash and grilled asparagus, then make a baba ghanoush and crab cake (with loads of coriander/cilantro and a good hit of cumin), then finish with a béarnaise (heavy on the citrus) to tie the surf and turf together

There's often some doubt as to which dish should be chosen. Kimmie deep frying everything means red team 100% made the right choice. Gordon Ramsay would have absolutely _shredded_ that.
Idk if you saw the rest of it but kimmie's dish tasted better. Gordon even said that had they selected her's it would've given clemenza a run for his money. They chose robyn's because kimmie didn't sell her dish.
