Pain can be described as an unusual gift, because pain demands the attention that is crucial to recovery. Old wounds have a way of resurfacing in our lives. In order to experience genuine healing, we must confront the pain directly. •We begin the process by acknowledging or examining those wounds( by fully understanding why we hurt.) • Second, identify and let go of those relationship patterns that we fall into, that reopen those old wounds. •Third, we have to find a way to let go of those dangerous emotions. By forgiving, the same way the our father has forgiven us. Lay it at the foot of jesus, let it go. It is essential to the healing process. Walking in unforgiveness robs you of your peace. By blaming yourself or others for the wounds that were inflicted you are keeping yourself from finding true freedom. In the process of mending our own pain we hurt others. • Fourth, find the courage to truly love again. Find the courage to be vulnerable with yourself, others, and God. They're people that are available and are sent to you by God. Psalm 147:3 He health the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Phillipians 3:13 Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
My scar and brokenness doesn't define who I am, I am wonderful and fearfully made❤️ I will never try to seek approval from man... As the Bible say "This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD." Spent 40 years under the cruelty of a parent. When you grow up in great fear it’s hard to get out of it. I’m 70 now and have forgiven all, but the pain of 40 years of rejection is still inside. It never left.

I am in a relationship with an non-believer, and I feel like I keep lying to myself that he will come back to Jesus, because he has spent all his life in church but during the pandemic he left. I really love him, but I feel lonely and constantly wounded, and I guess I've already entered the grief phase in this relationship. Right now it's 2 am here and I was about to cry myself to sleep because I don't feel loved enough, but I decided to search for something to quiet my soul. I found this. Thank you so much, my heart is going to break, because I needed to learn that I deserve so much better, and someone who brings me closer to God.
True genuine healing happens THRU our involvement with others. Attempting to grow and change “in a bubble” will produce limited results. Accountability and vulnerability within the church is rare. Not everyone is willing to be honest with themselves or others in the areas they need to grow and heal. If you have had trouble developing relationships with these kinds of people. Don’t give up!! They are out there but not always easy to locate. I have found support groups to be best place to meet others who are willing to deal with their issues. Moving forward to a more fulfilling life requires brutal honesty with God, yourself and those who can help you.

I am in the same place as you. I love someone who has hurt me many times as well and I’ve begged God to take away the desire and the feelings for him. But I think God is using the pain I feel of not getting what I want to teach me many lessons. Pray that God will show you what you need to learn from the situation and pray that God will show you how to trust him to heal your heart and to make things better. This sermon really impacted me today. Not only did it teach me how to heal but also how to forgive. I would love if more pastors taught on this subject in this way. I spent the last 2 and a half hours listening to this, pausing and re-listening so I could take more than 4 pages of notes. This is an incredibly powerful message and I thank God I found it in this season. Thank you so much.
Pain can be described as an unusual gift, because pain demands the attention that is crucial to recovery. Old wounds have a way of resurfacing in our lives. In order to experience genuine healing, we must confront the pain directly.
•We begin the process by acknowledging or examining those wounds( by fully understanding why we hurt.)
• Second, identify and let go of those relationship patterns that we fall into, that reopen those old wounds.
•Third, we have to find a way to let go of those dangerous emotions. By forgiving, the same way the our father has forgiven us. Lay it at the foot of jesus, let it go. It is essential to the healing process. Walking in unforgiveness robs you of your peace. By blaming yourself or others for the wounds that were inflicted you are keeping yourself from finding true freedom. In the process of mending our own pain we hurt others.
• Fourth, find the courage to truly love again. Find the courage to be vulnerable with yourself, others, and God. They're people that are available and are sent to you by God.
Psalm 147:3 He health the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Phillipians 3:13 Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
My scar and brokenness doesn't define who I am, I am wonderful and fearfully made❤️ I will never try to seek approval from man... As the Bible say "This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD." I have learn this in a hard way as young as I am my engagement was cancel and I bless the Lord for that, I am still hurt and wounded but all things work together for good to those that loves the Lord❤️❤️❤️ after that brokeness you will bless God that He protected you from lot of things🙌

Spent 40 years under the cruelty of a parent. When you grow up in great fear it’s hard to get out of it. I’m 70 now and have forgiven all, but the pain of 40 years of rejection is still inside. It never left.
I’m listening intently. This in an important message. God closed the door on my engagement. I was devastated l. A couple of weeks later, He showed that I put my ex where God belongs. I am seeking God with everything I have. I am asking God to search my heart and show me *everything that needs to go out of my life. I am in a relationship with an non-believer, and I feel like I keep lying to myself that he will come back to Jesus, because he has spent all his life in church but during the pandemic he left. I really love him, but I feel lonely and constantly wounded, and I guess I've already entered the grief phase in this relationship. Great sermon! I agree that we don't allow ourselves to be distracted so that we can heal. ❤️
True genuine healing happens THRU our involvement with others. Attempting to grow and change “in a bubble” will produce limited results. Accountability and vulnerability within the church is rare. Not everyone is willing to be honest with themselves or others in the areas they need to grow and heal. If you have had trouble developing relationships with these kinds of people. Don’t give up!! They are out there but not always easy to locate. I have found support groups to be best place to meet others who are willing to deal with their issues. Moving forward to a more fulfilling life requires brutal honesty with God, yourself and those who can help you.
