Explanation of a robotic procedure that helps fix complete pelvic organ prolapse. The procedure is done to "pexy" the vagina (colpo) to the sacrum or sacral bone. It provides support to the entire pelvic floor and is commonly used to fix cystoceles, rectoceles and vaginal prolapse. It is most often done for women who have had their uterus removed which alters the pelvic floor support. This procedure is used to restore this support.
