Building Small Deck, using Timbertech decking

building a small deck on the back door of the shore house, using pressure-treated lumber, Timbertech composite decking, Versatex trimboards, beadboard, and the railing system fabricated by Great Railing. I decided to go with the hidden fastener system by Timbertech. I've built several decks using Timbertech, this being the last one of 5 others this house, Timbertech has changed their product and I was unable to match the quality, wood grain pattern or color of the other 5 decks. A shame .... these "new" deck boards are inferior in design and function and are cupping as we speak. the original Timbertech product is excellent, laying flat as the day I installed them. the major difference being the "original" was vinyl encased on 4 sides these being vinyl-covered on three sides, letting moisture permeate the product. from beneath. I really hate when you find a great product then the company comes along and cheapens it.
